Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about Overwatch. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Overwatch; Blizzard and a few others do.

The figures could only look upon the hooked-up warrior with wires connecting to him. It was hard to tell he was a boy considering how much the technology distorted and covered his face.

"Remind me why you took some kid off the street?" Reaper asked as he turned to look at the boy suspended from dozens of wires. "We don't need more people within our ranks… Specially not some kid." Reaper added to which Sombra spoke up, lifting up her pad.

"He's close to one of the overwatch agents… Or close enough that I was able to pull more info from his head." Sombra stated which got the Talon leader to roll his eyes. "You don't approve of him being turned into a field agent?" Sombra asked, holding up her datapad which the Talon commander simply shook his head.

"All I care about is Overwatch being blown to bits, Sombra." Reaper said and turned to the Talon agent. "Finish your work, I'll make sure to monitor his first operation." Reaper ordered before turning and leaving the teen to his fate.

It was something that he really didn't care about when he thought about it. It wasn't as if he really concerned himself with said details, after all. This WASN'T one of his projects, nor was he involved with it.

Sombra simply turned back and shook her head. She tapped her pad several times, forcing the platform to rise as more machines descended upon the poor subject.

"I'd almost feel bad for you… If you weren't close to one of my goals." Sombra said as the subject took a deep breath through a heavily filtered mask. "You must not know who I am…" Sombra said before shrugging.

"You must be pretty sad to be targeted by us." Sombra stated as more of the arms slowly continued to attend to his armor. "You know that girl… Oh, what was her name? Hannah? Your little buddy, oh, she's going to be so happy to see you." Sombra said while shaking her head.

She knew the subject could hear her. He was a cybernetic soldier being planted into a mech similar to ' 's' as she heard the virtual celebrity had named herself. It made her roll her eyes.

"Oh, I recall how easy it was to knock you out." Sombra said which got a growl from the figure. "What, not happy your going to be fighting your little VR buddy? Oh, I know how cute you thought you were. You and her used to play games all the time… Then she joined overwatch and you never saw her again." Sombra added, a ruthless smirk crossing her features.

She knew that Hannah had probably forgotten the new Talon agent, meaning she'd be battling a nobody as far as she was concerned. Sombra found the irony nothing but delicious, such a bitter fate for someone who had probably not a single reason to be put at odds.

But she had a mission to do and that required a pawn to be discarded. What better then to pit a former friend or fan against their enemy then throw away Talon lives? They did want to make the world stronger through conflict, after all.

Sombra tapped in more commands and left the machinery to do its work, they'd make adjustments before discarding what remained. He was simply a pawn, after all. Why would she hold such sentimental value to someone she expected to die?

Sombra looked up at the figure that looked pinned to the very wall by machinery. Sombra planned to make future cyborgs and what she had done here with Talon's medical staff? It was simply the beginning in her eyes.

Sombra said nothing, content to leave the machinery to handle the rest. It wasn't like it was a big operation, well, not to her anyway. She dusted off her hands.

"Wait till she finds what happened to her friend." Sombra added before turning and leaving into the depths of the base.

The figure said nothing, too numbed by whatever chemicals were transforming his body. Little did he know his next conflict would be something far… Interesting.

"Hmm…" Reaper said before turning his head away, finally done caring about this.

Nothing left to do but wait and see.
