...

I opened my eyes, blinking in confusion when I saw stars. I glanced at each and every one of them in the black sky. No, wait. Black, empty space. Though it did had some dark blue coloring to the mix. Am I in another dream? No wait, not another dream ... more of a daydream? I was walking with Wendy to Greasy's Diner and suddenly I'm here. So, I'm confused. What is this place and why am I floating out in space?

I shifted my body and tried to move around, only to spin without any force stopping the spin. Crap, I'm in space, nothing can stop me from spinning unless something that is coming at me can stop this. I wanted to stop this spin as I reached my hands out in a stop motion, only for the spinning to obeyed to my command. I blinked, tilting my head at the halt. Well, that's strange. But what's the bad part of it is that I'm upside down! I sighed irritated before covering my mouth in realization.

Wait. I'm in space at the moment and ... I just opened my mouth. Well, actually I was breathing and sucking in all of the lack of oxygen in the space. So ... how am I not choking or dying? I uncovered my mouth and stared at my hands. I widened my eyes as my brows raised at the sight. Stars were twinkling on my skin. I moved them to see if it was just small little stars around me. That wasn't the case. They seemed to stay glued to my hands. Do they appear on the rest of my body? I decided to check and see, having a struggle to tell which way was the correct way upwards.

Well ... I'm in space, how can I tell I'm upward if there's no strong force of gravity nearby? Either way, I checked all around my body as the same little stars were there too, even on my jacket, shirt, pants, and shoes. I don't remember looking like this ...

I blinked and checked my surroundings, shifting my body to move all-around to look in the distance of the vast space. At least it didn't spin this time. I glanced at a blue-green planet, assuming it was Earth. I looked over at the other planets, spotting one to be red with a ring around it. Another was grey and the next was purple. Interesting...

I caught something moving in the corner of my eyes as I commanded my body to move towards it. I widened my eyes in horror as a huge portal was right in front of me. It was spinning counter-clockwise as it mixed in some black, purple, and yellow to its mysterious appearance. Okay. Wherever I am in, some portal appearing and disappearing happens, and whatever comes out... I'm dead.

A medium-size yellow light comes out. When upon a closer look, the light was human-sized. My mind was processing this as I watched the portal disappear from my sight. I glanced back at the light, staring at it closely. I think I can see the outline of the entity, but with how bright it was, I couldn't keep staring at it. [[ This is where the next newbie is at. And of course, it's near the Imperial Sphere... ]] I heard a voice in my head.

I blinked as I looked back at the light, narrowing my eyes from the light. Telepathy?

[[ Congratulations, you guessed correctly. ]] The light said sarcastically in my head once more. As it spoke, its light flickered. So the light is talking and it can read my mind. Sounds like ... someone familiar ...- no no, that's just a myth. I'm just jumping to conclusions like always.

[[ An smart newbie ... might be like the last one I encountered... ]] The light said, sounding annoyed. Is that a compliment?

[[ Take it the way you want it to be seen as. ]] They said. Okay... so, what is this place?

[[ Space. ]] They answered in a smartass response. I sighed in irritation. I get that its space, but specifically where is this place? Or ... just what is it? Am I in a dimension or is that a little too far?

[[ Sort of. ]] They answered. Sort of. You're not helping one bit.

[[ That's because I don't want to be here. ]] Their voice turned into irritation, making my head vibrate a bit. I placed my hand on my head, trying to hold it still. Ouch... okay. I apologize if I angered you.

[[ Can you move without my guidance? ]] They asked, irritation disappearing from their voice. I removed my hands and nodded. I think I got the basic down.

[[ Good, follow me. ]] The light said before moving towards something massive in the distance. I blinked in curiosity before snapping out of my trance. I stared at the light figure and looked at my hands. I reached out, telling my body to move forward towards them or at least follow them. It obeyed as I was moving through space. I blinked at the movement, astonished at how I was moving without any velocity or gravity pulling me forward. It appears as if I was generating this velocity with my mind in some way. No idea how that works, but I'm curious to learn more.

We were approaching this massive dome that had so much activity going on within it. I could see buildings in the dome and a giant tower that towers them all. Whatever this world is, It's surely dumbfounding me. As we near the "shield" of the dome, I halt myself from entering as I watched the light figure enter it casually. I blinked at them, staring at the pathway in front of me. [[ Just float in, it won't hurt you. ]] I heard the voice returned in my head. I know that, just gotta figure this out.

I lifted up my head forward as I moved straight and into the shield. As soon as I entered, gravity switched and I faceplanted onto the pathway. "... Looks like you didn't figure it out."

I grumbled slightly before sitting up from the ground. I stood up before wiping off the dust. I let out an annoyed sigh and glanced over at the "light figure" who appeared as human as I was. They displayed the same star pattern on themselves, as well as being transparent. "I did but didn't expect the gravity to just immediately pull me towards the ground," I said. I blinked, hearing my own voice.

"These "domes" you call do have their own gravitational pull, some are strong while others are weak." They said, walking forward.

"Yeah ... I think I get that now," I said, following them. So, entering into these dome allows you to speak? I suppose that how it works and the shield that is around the dome is protecting whatever creature lives within those buildings.

"You'll find out eventually." They said. Is that an invitation to visit this world multiple times in the future? I don't know about visiting it, I'll have to think about it. Soon were were approaching some crowds, allowing me to view them. I blinked in confusion as these people were star-shaped. Each one of them had a body while some didn't. They were, kind of, displaying human emotions as my own back down on Earth. So, these are the creatures who live in those ... star-shaped buildings. Interesting.

I glanced ahead, spotting other creatures, though they appear to look more monstrous than the star-shaped people. They were surrounding three humans as they stood in front of a door. I guess I'm the 4th one. We approached them as I was pushed over to them to join them. I glared at the figure who pushed me before joining with the others.

What is this? A Ceremony? Once another human joined us were told to enter the room. We obeyed and stood in it, watching the doors closes and feeling the floor below us move upwards. We're in an elevator I suppose. I wonder what's in this tower. I leaned on the railing, realizing how dark it was in here. Though I could still see the other humans. I looked confused as I focused on the light they were giving off. Okay, these humans are not normal, neither am I. Since the light-emitting off of my hands is the same light. It was a faint blue and green light.

I slowly nodded before glancing back up at them. Some of them looked to be nervous while others appear frightened in a corner. What's so scary about this place? Well, maybe because you were pulled the part from what you were doing in your real world. I understand that part, but I find every inch of this world interesting. I gotta tell my instructor this.

The ground stopped, causing the other "humans" to flinch from the motion. I stared at them before shaking my head. I watched the door opened as I was the first to step into it. I was soon followed behind by them. We walked through a hallway before stepping into a huge room. We glanced around before turning to stare at the creature in the center. Their back was facing us as I tilted my head. Is this the leader? This place seems to be the headquarters of this dome.

"Ah, are my new creations here? Good Starries!" The figure spoke. I begin to look wary at them. They turned around and stared at us with a smile. "Five this time, huh? That's alright!" They walked around the panel and approach us. I glanced at the other "humans" who backed away from the creature. I looked back and widened my eyes. The creature was at least 8 feet tall, towering over us as if we were just helpless baby birds. I stepped back from them, becoming tense.

"I won't harm you five. A Lord doesn't hurt his subjects unless they're a traitor." He said, having his arms behind his back. "Now, the reason you guys are here is that you are becoming the new Superior Starries for 500 years."

"W-what? W-what do you mean?!" One of the "humans" said.

"Don't worry, you're able to return back to your family in the real world. There's no punishment in that." He said.

"O-Oh ... thank god." The "human" said.

"Now, let me introduce you five." He said, walking around his place. "You are in the Starry Galaxy Realm, where every one of us looks like the children of the stars. Regardless if you're not from here, you will appear to have stars on your bodies. No, it doesn't hurt. It's how this realm displayed its citizens. The creature you see in front of you is the realm's Lord." He halted at the panel, giving us a sign to move forward.

I looked at one of the "humans" walking forward, soon stepping forwards as the other joined in. We halted as the Lord himself spoke again. "I am Lord Galoon, the only lord in this realm that you will show your respect to. You have other Superior Starries who appear and feel as if they are in a higher position. Those are called governors as they control a massive solar system in each cluster of spheres. There are many of them, however, one of them came here to see you five. So be sure to greet him."

"How do we know who's who? Everyone looks the same here." Another "human" spoke up. These questions bore me.

"You'll know. Moving on. These Superior Starries will be you guys when 14 years have passed. You will transform into creatures that reflect off of your guys' personalities or spiritual animals. Either is fine." Lord Galoon said before turning and walking around the panel and behind us. "The creatures you see in this realm are listed as starries or easy way to say it, starry creatures. There are many different types of them, for example, you guys are starry humans." He sounds like he's not that interested in explaining this to us. His tone lack emotion, as well as his body language. But that's probably how he behaves in this realm. Who knows.

"So... in 14 years ... we will turn into ... Superior Starries...?" One of the "humans" asked again.

"Yep! Powers and all." He answered before arriving in front of us again. "Now, since I'm busy in my next schedule, I'm giving you five each a guide, maybe more so a mentor on how they teach you about this world and how to do all of that." He said, waving a hand carelessly in the air. Thanks for the concern.

Each starry human was taken away by a Superior Starry as I was the only one up there. I started to get a bit worry before glancing at the Lord. My worry grew as I saw the sinister smirk on his face. "You are an interesting one."

"... What do you mean by that...?" I asked, appearing wary again.

"You know, you don't appear frightened as the others. I'm starting to think one of my Starries picked a good Superior Starry this time around." He said, flickering his long tail which I didn't know he had.

"... I would reword that sentence as I was found by them," I said carefully, glaring at him.

"Feisty aren't we? Well, you are correct." He said, standing up from the panel.

"So. Is my guide coming?" I asked, the impatience rising within me.

"Impatient as well. I can't wait to see what you spill for us in this realm. However, that gives off suspicion in the future. Your guide is coming." He said, narrowing his eyes.

"Good," I said, continuing to glare at him. He had slight irritation show on his face before it disappeared into a happy expression.

"BLIX! YOU ARRIVED!" I blinked and flinched at the sudden excitement from the lord as I watch him rush around the panel and over to the Superior Starry, who happens to be the same one that found me. Huh? He hugged them before getting pushed back.

"Really? I TOLD YOU I DIDN'T WANT THIS JOB!" The so-called "Bilx" said. "And don't touch me!"

"Aww, why do you have to be like that? After everything I give to you and this what I get in return?" Lord Galoon said, pretending a frown on his face as the Superior Starry glared at him.

"Remember our talk?"

"Yes. Yes, I do." He nodded his head naively.

"I said before I didn't want to be a guide for one of the new superior starries," Bilx said.

"Well, I discard that." He said.

"You are f-cking kidding me." They hissed.

"Don't forget who you are talking to, Bilx.~" He said, smiling playfully. How does this lord go from boring to ... this?

"Yeah ... yeah, I get that part..." They hissed quietly before walking over to me.

"Besides, I might let you be special on this one." Lord Galoon said.

"Be special? By what definition you mean this one?" They asked, turning back to the lord.

"This one might be trouble to us. So, you are free to do anything harmful towards him if he acts out of line with your teachings. No killing may I must remind you?" He said. I widened my eyes at the statement. Wait, what?

"Really? This time around you decided that?!" Bilx hissed.

"I know, I know, you want to hurt the previous new superior starries in the past, but this time, it's actually important!" He said, putting on a frown.

They grunted before glancing at me and back the lord. "Better be, or else you won't hear the last thing from me." They hissed, before taking my arm and rushing out of here. I did not agree with the torture and sh-t statement.

"Thank you, Bilx! Enjoy that one for a while! I will be here for you guys' report!" I heard the Lord say before we enter the hallway and into the elevator. I have soon pushed away harshly into a corner as I turned and glared at them.

"You are not doing this-"

"And what can you do?" Bilx said, glaring me down with folded arms. "You're powerless, it'll be the perfect time to get you into shape."

"Shape? You think you can?" I said, raising a brow.

"I am allowed to, so yes. You will be trained harshly than the others. And I wonder why Blister offered this to me just now. Maybe it's because of how you disrespected the Lord himself, who knows at this point." They said.

"Why should I even respect someone that didn't earn it in the first place?" I asked, looking disgusted.

"Wow, harsh words for a newbie." They muttered looking unimpressive. "You won't make it out of here alive, kid."

"Don't call me that." I hissed, getting offended by the nickname.

"Too late, kid." They said. I grunted before turning away from them. I crossed my arms and glared at the walls of the elevator. We arrived back on the ground floor before I was forced out of the room. I grumbled quietly and followed the Superior Starry. Lovely, another realm that I can possibly care less about. We walked away from the crowd and back to the shield. I could see the space again, seeing a thousand stars behind the planets I spotted. I sighed annoyed and glanced back at my "guide." Ugh, this will be a nightmare.

[[ You and me both. Before we return your soul back to your mortal dimension, I want you to get the hang of telepathy to others. ]] I heard their voice in my head again.

"You could have spoken that you know," I said, staring at them.

[[ Speak in Telepathy, I'm afraid I cannot answer any questions you have outside of the mind until you do so. ]] They said once more in there. You are kidding me? I grunted before glancing away from them. How do I even ...- My thoughts trailed off as I breathe in and out, closing my eyes. Telepathy is just speaking through thoughts and giving them in someone's head. Only this time, you actually speak in this ability rather than using your vocal cords.

"I-" I stopped myself, shutting my mouth sealed. Speak through your mind, do not speak using your vocal cords. I told myself.

[[ Feel like there's something there within yourself, trying to unlock that ability within your skull ]] I heard their voice in my head once more. Now they're helping me? Never mind about that. I stood still and focus on the unnatural elements within this dome. Focusing on the little voices in my head.

Come on ... not there. I focused harder, traveling through space in my head to that locked door. Once I found it, I tried once more.

Come on ... unlock.

Unlock.

[[ Unlock! ]] I watched the door unlock in my mind as the lock vanished from my head. Did I do it?

[[ Congratulation, not that impressive but it'll do. ]] I heard their voice in my head.

"So I did do it?" I said, speaking with my vocals again, making me realize seconds later. "Damnit."

"No, no, you did do it. It'll just take some practice into making it work as good as new." They said, turning towards the shield. "We could practice while we're traveling to that familiar earthy planet."

"... Yeah. We could." I said quietly." Once they phrased through the shield and floated on the other side, I did the same. Though I ended up spinning before I felt my ankle being grabbed, causing the spinning to stop. [[ Careful there, kid. ]]

Don't start it. I grunted as I made sure I was okay. I made myself upright before commanding myself to follow the light figure once more. I glanced at Earth, seeing that we were approaching slowly, but soon in a fast movement. I feel tired already.

[[That probably means your soul is approaching that limit on how long your guys' soul can come here. ]]

No ... Well ... I don't know much about that, but I just feel ... tired. Like I worked all day. I rubbed my head before my eyes. Why am I tired?

[[ Do you feel mentally tired? ]]

Yes. Yes, I do. I nodded before looking over at them.

[[ That Telepathy really took a lot out of you. ]]

Well, that what happens when you awake an ability. I sighed, feeling an arm halt my movements. I noticed we arrived as it was removed. Maybe I can rest in my world. When do I need to come back?

[[ Your soul will pull you back into this world the next day, so you don't need to worry until your transformation. ]] They turned and grabbed my wrist before placing a light hand on the planet.

That's good. I nodded, watching the planet grow hug within seconds. I widened my eyes in interest. This realm is something else, I swear.

[[ Now let's see what town you're from, this always interests me the most. ]] I heard Blix's voice in my head. I wouldn't dare to ask why. I shook my head. We soon zoom down on a country, then a state, and soon a town that I was familiar with. Then a shack appears as I recognized it. I sighed in relief, knowing that I'm returning back. [[ So ... this is where you are from. ]] I froze in fear, hearing this different but very recognizable voice. Wait ... wasn't you ...

I widened my eyes, slowly looking over at the figure as darkness engulf us. I looked horrified and frightened, staring at two piercing yellow eyes, sending me back to the only one who had those eyes.

"And now I know, who he exactly picked."
