Testing

"I need to check something in the lab." Allison Cameron lets her baby son suck on her hand.

"Come on!" Wayne clicks in annoyance. "You are on maternity leave and you have spent the past three months working."

"I am the boss!" Cameron interjects, her voice also rising. "I have a responsibility."

"You need to quit!" Wayne is getting louder.

Cameron clenches her left fist, as she carefully extracts her right hand from her son's mouth.

She sneaks the swab into the plastic bag.

"I need to check the lab." Cameron pushes him aside, making sure to grab the hair on his jacket.

She storms off, angrier than ever.

She's never liked Wayne to begin with. Their one date, the only one she has been on since her divorce, was a disaster.

Cameron still has not forgiven her former assistant nurse for tricking her into the blind date.

Clarisse is gone now. Cameron made up a good excuse to send her away.

Unfortunately, Cameron and Wayne were stupid on that date.

Two minutes of unpleasant, ugly sexx and she was pregnant.

Cameron hadn't been planning on letting him know, frankly because she couldn't stand him and also because she wasn't sure…

That date was around the time that she had that procedure done…

Now, she will know for sure.

As Cameron heads down the dark hall, the darkness closes in on her and her troubled mind drifts back to that fateful night during the lockdown.

"If you are ever in Chicago...I would love for you to visit me…" She trails off, as she lays her eyes on her now ex husband's exposed chiseled torso.

She is going to miss the muscular sight and feel of that treasure.

"Thanks." He cuts her off, before putting on his shirt.

She swallows back tears.

It really is over and he is ready to go.

He has moved on and she is alone, again.

It's all her fault.

What if she hadn't pushed him away?

He gave her opportunity after opportunity but she blew right past them all.

The door slams shut.

Robert Chase has left and Allison Cameron is left by herself.

The lockdown is over.

She returns to Chicago and puts in the order.

That sperm, her damn first husband's piece, needs to be eradicated from her world. He is the reason that the love of her life, Robert, is gone.

It is her first husband's fault that her second marriage fell apart.

Or at least she chooses to shift the blame from herself.

Years later, she receives the call.

There was a mix up and they left it alive. They are going to destroy it now but they want to know if she has had a change of mind, just in case.

Yes.

She has.

She is not going to be alone anymore.

She gets the injection and then Clarisse springs the blind date trap.

Negative.

Just as she foresaw.

Wayne is not the father, which means that she can dump him now!

Her son is her final gift, from her first husband!

For the first time in years, Allison Cameron feels a surge of joy.

Anger

She is always angry but she has always concealed it well.

When her father stole from his clients and blamed her, she pretended not to care.

When her boyfriend slept with her best friends, she didn't say anything.

When John House verbally abused her, she did not react.

If only she had shown some of her anger when that wretched man abused Gregory. John would have been sorry.

And he probably was.

That is assuming that the dead John heard Greg's eulogy.

That's the only reason she made Greg attend.

Blythe wanted someone else to express her anger for her.

John spent a year dying, because Blythe wanted him to.

She poisoned him slowly and he suffered.

Greg never visited during that time and Blythe is glad that he didn't. If he had, he would have caught on and then he would have either reported her (probably not), or helped her.

Anyway, John House is old news and Thomas Bell is the problem now.

"That boy was no damn good." Thomas is not in the mood for sympathy today.

Blythe keeps her head down and doesn't dignify him with an answer.

She does not need to because Gregory is alive.

After all, it was Blythe who was in on it. It was Blythe who gave Greg the idea of switching the dental records and using the phone for James.

They are probably out of New Jersey right now and Greg will be back soon.

"That pill popping maniac was so high and stuck up that he couldn't get out of a damn burning building." Thomas sighs. "What a fool. Shame to say that he was my son. If you had told me, then I would have done something. Made a difference in his life!"

"He was not your son!" Blythe screams for the first time in her life.

Even though Greg lives, she has had it with Thomas.

Thomas was fun in the bedroom and as a casual friend but she realizes that he was never cut out to be a husband.

Thomas looks relieved and then he scowls. "So you slit!"

He scoffs.

Blythe strikes.

The next few minutes are a blur but by the end of it, Thomas is on the floor, lifeless.

Blythe calmly calls the funeral home and arranges a service.

Afterwards, she goes back to eagerly awaiting Greg's return.

Now the Boss

He could give her one last kiss.

That's what she wants to do.

He could ask her to stay with him and that is what she desires.

He knows her.

She does love him and he knows that for sure now.

But he also knows that he doesn't love her.

Never did.

So in a twisted way, he broke her heart, not the other way around.

It's over.

He is finally free.

Robert Chase doesn't look back, as he slams the door behind him.

Allison Cameron is his past and he must chase his future.

Robert Chase throws off his jacket and stretches freely.

It's been a long week, House's funeral, Chase's subsequent return to PPTH and now he is the boss.

Chase has missed this place and he is glad to be back. Leaving was the worst mistake that he ever made but House corrected that mistake.

House always looked out for Chase.

"I love you!" Chase looks out the dark window.

Jessica Adams almost trips on her heels when she hears the words. She was already having trouble focusing, with Chase stretching his body and all. The muscles are practically bleeding out of his shirt, which is ironic, considering how she once ripped off his shirt to stop his bleeding.

He'd gotten stabbed saving her life.

A lot has changed since then.

She asked him out and he turned her down. Their fun flirty moments ended and then he left PPTH, only to return as her boss.

Now, he is truly unavailable.

If she had confessed her feelings sooner, things would be different.

"Adams!" Chase turns around, embarrassed.

He has always been shy around her. What man wouldn't be shy in the presence of those luscious wavy brunette locks and flawless skin. He's imagined sucking those full crimson lips and embracing those curves so many times.

And first chance he got, he turned her down.

Now…

"I was talking to House." Chase says and Adams raises an eyebrow, half relieved and half concerned.

They look around awkwardly for a moment.

"I miss him. That is all." Chase closes the subject. "Anyway, did the patient leave?"

"Yeah. We gave him your treatment and he was discharged." Adams answers.

"Good. Glad that I was able to crack the case quickly." Chase smiles out the window at House.

"I gotta head out." Adams walks away quickly.

She cannot be late again to…

Chase watches as she rushes out of his office, her beautiful hair flowing in the distance and her slender body getting farther away, all very inviting.

Why did she leave so quickly?

Did he offend her?

Before he can think, Chase is interrupted.

"Hey!" Dr. Peter Treiber, from Season 8 Episode 20, hops into the office.

"Hey." Chase nods. "You look better."

"Alive, thanks to you." Treiber reminds Chase. "And you have now moved up!"

"Yeah! I have. I am the boss now." Chase gestures at the office. "You were right."

Treiber beams. "Anyway, I never got to thank for saving my life. I owe you a drink! Come! I insist!"

Chase sighs and reluctantly follows.

Why not?

One time thing and he has time to kill.

"Wanna get a drink tonight?" Foreman asks Chase.

"Can't!" Chase responds. "Treiber is taking me out."

Foreman laughs. "Making new friends. Well, guess we will catch up later. Good to have you back!"

Little Girl

"Almost there!" Simon, from Season 5 Episode 11, guides the little girl up the steps of the police station.

"Wee!" She practically flies up the stairs.

"Careful!" Simon chuckles at the cute thing and then his heartbeat falters.

This little girl, she's old enough to be Natalie's, his daughter, that he left behind.

She is probably about this age and playing around in some home right now.

Last he heard, she got adopted pretty quickly.

Simon looks up into the dark chasm of a sky.

"Natalie!" Simon whispers.

Of course, no answer.

The last time he saw her, she was on her deathbed, holding their daughter.

Simon never even got to touch his daughter, all for the best.

That kid deserved better than him.

"My name is Rachel Cuddy!" The kid introduces herself.

"Simon!" Simon points at himself, as he takes them to the front desk. "Child lost. Found her wandering. Rachel Cuddy."

"Rachel!" Lisa Cuddy rushes up at the sight of her daughter.

"Momma!" Rachel embraces her.

Simon's bright smile fades when he sees Cuddy.

"Will the baby get a good home?" Simon asks.

He cannot bring himself to call her his daughter.

What right does he have?

His parents and his brother look at him with concern. The Soellners, Natalie's parents, glare in his direction and they have every right to be angry. It is his fault that Natalie is dead.

"She certainly will." Cuddy promises. "I will personally make sure of that."

They all thank her for taking the burden off of their hands and they leave quickly, before they can feel guilty.

Some time later, Simon and his family received word that the Soellners had passed away. Natalie's death broke their will to live.

"Thank you so much for bringing her…" Cuddy's jaw drops when she sees Simon.

Simon smiles and turns away.

"Can you come and play later?" Rachel tugs at Simon eagerly and he feels a chill when she touches him.

Simon cracks a sad smile and the tears start running.

Pretty soon, he is out of the building.

Simon heads back to his school, the University of Wyoming. Once he is inside, he calls them, his parents and his brother.

"Hello?" They pick up. "How are you doing, Simon?"

They sound so happy to hear them that he almost doesn't want to break the news.

And so he doesn't break that news.

"You cannot run off like that!" Cuddy scolds Rachel. "Grandma, Aunt Julia, Uncle and your cousins are waiting at home. They were worried sick!"

Rachel understands the scolding. "Sorry Momma!"

"Now you know!" Cuddy chides Rachel.

Cuddy pulls into the driveway and breathes.

Rachel is safe.

That is all that matters.

Living in Wyoming for the past year has been advantageous. If Rachel had gotten lost in New Jersey, who knows what might have happened.

She could have been kidnapped by a thug, or worse, by that wretched Gregory House.

Hopefully, that maniac is rotting in jail. He deserves it for what he did.

Cuddy has not had contact with anyone from her previous life.

That is the past and she is only looking forward.

Club

"So when you said drink…" Chase narrows his eyes suspiciously.

"I meant DRINK!" Treiber snickers. "Now, I know that you do not have to come to places like this to get girls. You have the looks..."

Chase shrugs. "Still jealous of me?"

"Ha. Yeah, sort of!" Treiber says. "Anyway, I paid for you, so have fun, or you can leave. Least I can do to thank you for saving my life."

With that, Treiber finds the nearest striper and runs off with her.

Chase looks around, feeling uncomfortable and aroused at the same time. He's used to seeing half nakkid girls in heels. They come to his bed so willingly but seeing so many of them simultaneously is a bit much.

He's never had to pay for sexx, so why start now? Sure, Treiber paid but he is not in the mood.

Chase turns to leave and then he feels a tap on his shoulder.

She always tries to go after the men, who are the most eager to leave. The uncomfortable ones are generally more polite and non degrading. They make the job moderately more tolerable.

This particular man reminds her of someone she knows, someone she wants to be nakkid in front of.

Adams freezes when she sees his face.

"Chase!" Adams trips backwards on her heels and Chase grabs her hands, before she can fall.

Chase subverts his gaze away from her bare toned stomach and crimson braa. Her sharp bloody heels threaten his pants, which are tightening.

He focuses on her hair, the luscious cascading chocalety waves.

"Why are you here?" Adams asks suspiciously, while subconsciously straightening her body and moving herself into his direct view.

She puts her hands on her hips and does her best to make him see her.

"Uh…" Chase can barely speak. "Was about to ask you the same thing. Peter Treiber insisted on taking me for a drink but he brought me here and left me. He wanted to thank me for saving his life."

"That was right before you left." Adams recalls sadly.

"Yeah, so why are you here?" Chase is very curious.

"Yeah, I work here, as you can see. Sort of a long story." Adams shifts her weight around.

"Hey! I would like some time!" A handsome looking man, not as good looking as Chase, solicits her.

Adams doesn't like the look in his eyes, reminds her of all those nasty boys in college and high school, who tried to get into her pants.

"I already asked her." Chase steps in. "Come on!"

They head to the private room.

Giving Thanks and Telling Stories and Touching

"Thanks!" Adams whispers, her cheeks flaming red under the dim light.

They could actually…

"No problem. I can stall as long as you like. Keep you here until all the nasty guests leave." Chase offers.

Adams smiles sadly. "You don't have to do that." But please do because I want to spend time with you, she finishes silently.

"No, I do. Gotta protect my employee." Chase takes off his coat. "Here!"

As much as he would love for her to stay in just her braa, she looks cold, and he wants her to be warm. Besides, if she stays unclothed, he's only going to be tempted to have what he cannot have, or chose not to have.

"Thanks again!" Adams is freezing and even though she wants him to see her body, she isn't going to pass up the chance to wear his clothes.

"So, why are you working here?" Chase wonders.

"My parents, they died. Got the word shortly after you left. By then, things were all hectic with Wilson dying and House spiraling out. I had no one to talk to." Adams opens up to Chase, the same way that he opened up to her, all those months ago.

"Sorry." Chase squeezes her hands and struggles to stay seated, as his pants expand.

"Thanks!" Adams feels a surge of heat pass through her with his touch. "I wasn't even able to go. The executor wrapped up everything and sent me the legal statements. They left me out of the will and I don't know why."

Chase looks empathetic. "My dad left me out of his will too."

That was the initial truth.

At least he thought it was.

He found out later, in between Season 7 and Season 8, that his stepmother had tampered with the original will and taken everything for herself.

Chase was powerless to do anything about it at that point because the awful woman had already spent all the money.

And she died years ago.

His father, the man he hated, had intended to leave everything to him.

"...after that, I started running out of money. I tried selling my bags and shoes and my cars. I cleared out everything but I still couldn't pay the rent for my (luxurious) apartment." Adams informs him.

"But your PPTH salary?" Chase questions.

"I am contracted and that wasn't enough to sustain my lifestyle. I had to move into a hotel last Wednesday. I've been working here at night to make ends meet. I started last Friday, after House's...funeral." Adams recalls that unpleasant moment. "Unfortunately, some new girls came in yesterday and the management decided to let me go after today."

"I can try to raise your salary at PPTH…" Chase begins to say.

Adams shuts him down swiftly. "No, Chase. You shouldn't do that. If they think that you are being preferential, they will fire…"

"House got away with much worse." Chase reminds her.

"They are not going to allow that anymore. You saw what House's behavior did to even those closest to him, like Wilson, and Cuddy, whom I have never even met. I just heard things." Adams states.

"Yes. Wilson had quite the...performance at the funeral." Chase cringes because he never got to say goodbye to Wilson, who will be dead soon.

"Yep. He wasn't wrong about anything he said though." Adams snaps at the dead House.

He is the one who sprung the Chaadams ship on them. If it hadn't been for House, Adams wouldn't have had her heart broken by Chase.

She blames him.

"Fair point." Chase admits. "You are right. House was a handful."

Burning Red

"Thanks for sticking with me." Adams looks at the clock. "My shift is over."

She takes off his jacket but unhooks her braa in the process and it falls on the floor.

Her face burns flaming red and he turns his head away but gets on the floor to find her braa. He struggles to stay down because of his ever tightening pants.

Chase retrieves the braa, gets up, and hands it to her.

"Thanks." Adams blushes profusely.

"I...uh…guess we would be even if you saw me with my shirt off sometime." Chase fumbles around and comes to an awkward joke.

"Actually, I have seen you with your shirt off." Adams blushes even more. "When you saved my life and I ripped your shirt off to plug your heart."

"Oh right!" Now it is Chase's turn to blush. "Thanks for that!"

"I should be thanking you." Adams answers. "See you tomorrow Dr. Chase."

She walks out but he grabs her by the wrist to stop her.

"Adams, come move in with me. You cannot stay in a hotel forever." Chase insists.

"Chase, I can't…" Adams tries to interject but she doesn't want to.

"Come on! I insist! Let's go. I will drive you to your hotel and bring you back to my apartment." Chase leads the way.

Adams follows him, her cheeks still burning red, hot for Chase.

Simon is burning red when he blurts. "That is enough."

The girl doesn't let go. She tugs at his shirt and manages to rip it off.

The young man stands there, shirt off, exposed and the woman marvels at his form, the perfectly sculpted abbs, pecs, biceps, collar bone and well formed musculature.

She lunges like a tiger and smashes her lips onto his, while ruffling through his blonde hair. Her flaming tongue scorches into his throat, as the heat inside his pants rises and the pants tighten.

Simon squirms uncomfortably, as he wettens and he musters up his full strength to push her completely off.

He walks out without a word.

Just another miserable, meaningless night with a nameless girl. This is the greatest extent to which it goes.

Touching and that is it.

No sexx.

Never.

Moving In

"Make yourself at home." Chase points to his apartment.

"Thanks." Adams sets her bag down and proceeds to take her last remaining coat (animal fur shawl) off.

Too late, she realizes that she is just wearing a braa.

She feels exposed, cold and yet so warm in his presence.

"Uh…" Chase wonders if she is purposefully punishing him for turning her down for a drink. "You can take a shower if you want. The bathroom is that way."

"Thanks." Adams leans awkwardly and picks up her change of clothes.

Or we could shower together...they think silently.

She scurries off quickly and hops into the shower.

Chase turns on the stove and starts preparing dinner because he's famished after the long day and she must be too.

The stove heats up and it makes Chase feel even warmer than he already is, with Adams in the house.

Adams basks in the warm water and leans into the foggy glass. Not having to take a shower in a crusty hotel is refreshing. The only thing that would make this better is if Chase were here with her.

She finishes up and heads out to the warm smell of food cooking.

"Don't worry. It is not kangaroo." Chase brings back his earlier joke from Season 8 Episode 8.

Adams chuckles at the reminder. "Thanks again."

Then she remembers what he said before that joke, how he said that she was a pleasure to put up with because she was hot.

Is that it? Does he want to sleep with her? All he has to do is ask.

Adams shakes her head and blinks because it has been a long day and the heat is getting to her.

"This is amazing!" She claps her hands.

"Like me." Chase jokes and Adams laughs.

They're bonding like the way they used to.

After they finish eating, they clean the dishes and he motions for her to follow.

"Here. You can take the bedroom." Chase offers.

"No, I will take the couch. Come on! I am a guest!" Adams rejects his request.

I will sleep there if you sleep with me, she thinks silently.

"Want extra clinic hours?" Chase threatens playfully.

Adams pouts even more playfully. "Wish they would increase my salary for that. Anyway, I will be out of here quickly. Don't want to give you too much trouble."

"No trouble at all." Chase corrects her. "It is kind of lonely being here by myself."

"No company for the lover boy?" Adams asks aloud by accident.

"No." Chase is a little caught off guard. "I haven't had sexx since Moira."

"Who?" Adams doesn't remember that name.

"The nun." Chase reminds her.

"Oh yeah." Adams doesn't know exactly why that nun left.

She was happy when the nun left because that meant that Chase was available but that hope vanished with his rejection.

"She went back to the convent." Chase answers her question. "I really thought that I was in love with…"

"Good night Chase!" Adams dismisses him and walks off to the couch, feeling cooler.

Damn does Chase know how to throw cold water on hot romantic feelings!

Talking about a woman in front of another woman!

Unbelievable!

Chase slams his fist into the bed. Not like he has a chance but that was a stupid move on his part.

Talking about a woman in front of another woman!

He hops into the shower to get ready for bed.

It's already 3 AM.

Morning

"Umm…" Adams twists her body and feels something tugging on her.

It's a blanket.

"Figured you would get cold." Chase hands her coffee. He's already fully dressed and ready to go. "We still have an hour before we have to leave."

Adams turns away quickly. She must look like a mess and Chase can't see her like this.

"Relax. You look fine." Chase dismisses her concern. "Come on. We can't be late like House."

She heats up at his compliment and escapes her warm covers. That's when she realizes that she is not on the couch.

"How did I get here?" Adams looks around the bed.

"You fell off the couch before dawn and I caught you. Decided to bring you here." Chase explains. "More comfortable."

"Chase!" Adams scolds.

"Sorry...I…" Chase starts to apologize, unsure of what to say.

"I will take a shower." Adams regrets the outburst already, probably characteristic of her normal morning grumpiness and her pent up sexcual frustration.

Living with a hot man that she cannot have sexx with is enough to make her go berserk.

"Hi. Sorry to bother you." Cuddy apologizes to the blonde boy, who answers the door half awake, his eyes almost shut and his blonde hair ruffled up like feathers.

Simon opens his eyes and sees who it is. "Dr!"

He slams into his own door.

"Sorry to startle you. But you ran off so quickly. I wasn't able to thank you for bringing Rachel to the police station." Cuddy starts to peel the bandage.

Rachel...that is her name! His daughter's name is Rachel...

"Rachel wants you to come and play." Cuddy phrases it in a roundabout way. "You never answered her question."

Simon loses it and breaks down crying. He falls on the floor, balling like a little baby.

Cuddy has flashbacks of the day that she lost her first adopted child, the one that the biological mother decided to keep.

She'd cried so hard and her misery would have lasted if House hadn't started kissing her.

She looks down and sees a vulnerable man, not unlike the depressed love of her life that she dumped in her darkest moment. He's alone and scared and he needs someone to care for him.

Without a second thought, Cuddy grabs Simon by the hands and lifts him up.

She just starts kissing him and he kisses back, letting her suck all the tears out of his body.

They shut his room door.

Cars to Work

They do not speak much on the car ride over.

He wants to sneak a few glances over and see her. She looks so flawless, especially in the bright lights, practically a beautiful goddess, with flowing hair and glowing skin.

He hasn't had car sexx before and he really wants to try.

His rippling bicep is distracting enough and she tries to glue her eyes to the road. Just a car ride, not car sexx, she reminds herself. Stay focused.

They arrive.

Without saying much, Chase and Adams walk in together and no one seems to notice, except for a few peeping nurses who raise their eyebrows.

Chase darts his eyes and reads their minds. They probably think that he slept with Adams and the rumors will fly. Those nurses, he never called any of them back after their one night stands. Some were more fun than others.

Laura was great and Sandy was terrible. Trish, Katya, Gaby, Sylvie, Hallie, Naomi, all decent.

"Hey!" Park flies in behind them.

Chase and Adams nod simultaneously and Park's eyes flash.

They all head up.

The girls get off on the locker room floor and Chase heads to his office.

Locker Room Talk

"I had another sexx dream about Chase." Park says casually.

Adams slams the locker door shut, to muffle that ridiculous sound from Park.

Adams clenches her fist but opts to ignore the provocation.

"I said!" Park raises her voice. "I had sexx with Chase in a dream."

Adams still doesn't respond.

"But I guess having sexx with him in real life is better." Park implies.

"How would I know?" Adams wishes that she did.

"Playing dumb eh?" Park is losing patience. "How long have you two been doing it?"

"We are not!" Adams snaps. "We are not having sex, okay?"

"Guess you would not be so cranky if you were." Park figures. "Then why are you living with him?"

"How did you…?" Adams should have known that Park would figure out.

"You smell the same. You will remember I lived with him for a while. I know that bothered you." Park figures. "So why are you living with him? Can't be because you are out of money. Didn't realize that you liked him that much."

"It is because I am out of money." Adams replies curtly. "Stuff happened. Chase found out and insisted that I move in."

"Woah. That is unexpected." Park is taken aback. "All your endless money."

"Yep." Adams heads out of the locker room and to clinic duty, before Park can pry anymore.

The Office

Chase mons as she squeezes his package and restricts the movement in his pants. There is squirming and wetting and he can hardly stay upright.

Thirteen finally releases his lips from her teeth and extracts her tongue from his throat.

Chase feels a blowing sensation as Thirteen rips his clothes off and tosses them aside. For the first time, she sees him, bare, and it is the most delicious sight she has ever beheld.

She traces her hands through the springy hairs and feels up each well formed muscle. Thirteen licks through Chase's abbs and tastes his raw flesh.

When she comes across his heart, she stops eating.

"You are bleeding!" Thirteen rubs the red gash marks.

"It's a scar." Chase sets Thirteen at ease with a kiss. "Got stabbed. I am a lot better now. Let's keep going."

Chase falters a bit. He got that scar for Adams, by taking that scalpel for her. Instead of taking a chance with her then, he jumped on Moira, well she got on him first. And Moira left, leaving Chase alone.

He should have gone for Adams when he had the chance and he should still go for her now.

Thirteen pinches Chase to make sure that he really isn't bleeding. Then, she melts into his arms and he lifts her up and throws her on the table.

Chase stares down into Thirteen's gorgeous emerald eyes, which suddenly morph into a beautiful almond brown. Her blondelite hair darkens into a brunette hue and her skin gets even more flawless.

He is not looking down at Remy Hadley.

It's Jessica Adams.

Thirteen doesn't notice Chase's confusion and she pulls down his pants, leaving him in nothing but his tight black boxxers.

She squeezes harder with both hands and the sperm keeps on coming.

They combine bodies and rock the desk.

Screaming is suppressed by more screaming and after several glorious moments, they descend.

"That was incredible. Thanks." Chase thanks Adams, who has morphed back into Thirteen.

"You were the incredible one." Thirteen pats his well muscled torso. "Sorry for ambushing you like that. I didn't mean to assault…"

"Not at all. Wasn't expecting you to come. Thought that you already left for…" Chase cannot remember where she lives now.

"Decided to hang around Princeton for a few days and I am leaving in a few minutes. But I wanted to see you. Figured I would have sexx with you as you once offered." Thirteen shrugs. "Have to get all the goods before I die."

Chase smiles sadly. "Glad I made the list. I know that House was…"

"IS!" Thirteen corrects him. "He is alive. He faked that death. He was the one who called Wilson during the funeral. He told me later. Left me a message."

Chase looks at Thirteen like she is crazy and then it strikes him, the look on Wilson's face when he saw his phone, the smirk on House's mom's face after the funeral and the racket ball being ready at the desk…

"Anyway, I do not know if I will see you again but thanks for everything." Thirteen pulls him in for another passionate kiss.

She leaves.

"I will miss you." Chase is still dripping as he puts his clothes back on.

The sexx with Thirteen was great but the woman he really wants right now is Adams.

The hot man decides to rush over to the locker room for a cold shower, to take his mind off of sexx.

Locker Room Again

Adams is back in the locker room, stripping down to her braa and pantes. That child patient, she should have had the trash can ready, but alas, she didn't and the puke got all over her.

Now, without her money, Adams doesn't even have a change of clothes.

And that is when she sees him.

Chase.

He's also stripped down to his boxxers, a sight that she fantasized over for far too long.

His body is even more well sculpted than she remembers and his muscular back is breathtaking. If he turns around, she is going to lose it.

Chase steps into the shower, totally unaware of the horn eyes watching him but he feels a burn and figures that it must be from the sexcual feelings he's having. He hops into the stall.

The water starts running and Adams feels a tugging feeling in her pantes.

It takes all her might but she finally manages to throw on her lab coat and wrap it tightly over her body.

She rushes herself out of the locker room, before she can give into her temptation.

Cuddy slams her head into Simon's locker and that ends their moment together.

"Are you okay?" Simon grabs her head.

"Yeah, I am fine." Cuddy's head hitting moment brings her back to earth and she finally processes the gravity of what she just did. "I am sorry. I have to leave."

Before he can say a thing, Simon is met with a slammed door and she is gone.

He lays there, completely blown away by what just happened.

Going Home

"You ready?" Chase finds Adams and she squirms as she struggles to stay dry.

"Hmm?" She replies, totally caught off guard by his skin tight leather jacket.

"I am your ride to our home." Chase processes the gravity of the words our home.

"Oh yeah." Adams remembers. "Let's go."

And then her lab coat falls off and she stands there in just her braa.

Chase doesn't miss a beat and he takes off his jacket and drapes it over her shoulders.

"Let's go." He leads the way.

"A patient threw up on me." Adams explains while blushing profusely.

Chase is such a gentleman, stepping in with the jacket like that.

"The zipper." Chase points out, while tossing Adams her lab coat.

"Oh." Adams is practically melting as she zips up quickly.

Some nurses have already seen her and they start whispering.

Chase ignores them and the pretty ones flash their eyes in shock. He normally cannot take his eyes off of their bodies.

He's totally smitten with Dr. Adams and it is infuriating, because she is actually prettier than them.

They make it home quickly and Chase immediately heads to the kitchen.

"I am not hungry." Adams heads to the bedroom. "Good night Chase."

Chase stammers for a response but comes to nothing.

All he can do is fantasize about being in the bedroom with her.

Breakfast

"Hello." Cuddy waves at Simon, who joins her table.

"Hi." He approaches her cautiously because the dark hair and large eyes remind him of Natalie, except this woman is obviously not Natalie.

He's shy. Such a contrast from that disaster of a House.

Simon is willing to admit vulnerability and open up. Something that House never did.

They order their breakfast and sit in silence.

"I am a stay at home mom." Cuddy tells him quite casually.

Simon raises his eyebrows and takes in the implication.

"You can babysit Rachel whenever you are free. She would love to see you. She has been wanting you to come and play for a while." Cuddy suggests.

His daughter...she is letting him spend time with his own daughter.

Is he ready?

Does he want to?

What if the girl grows attached to him but he has to leave?

"And if you are ever interested, I am single and Rachel does need a true father." Cuddy gets to the point and extends the offer.

Cuddy knows that she is moving too fast and this is crazy but she's been lonely for too long and Rachel deserves to know her father.

Who is getting hurt from this arrangement?

Simon looks into Cuddy's eyes and all he can see is a vulnerable woman, a broken woman, the mother of his child.

Showers

She is showering.

"Chase!" Adams feels the hot water drip off of her.

The steam dissipates around Chase's built body, as he enters.

His emerald blue eyes shine in the mist and he stretches his muscles in her direction.

"This is about you and me!" Chase grabs her shoulders gently and strokes her face.

Adams closes her eyes and shivers, as he caresses her skin.

His lips make their way to hers and that is when she wakes up from her dream.

She wakes up from the bed, still half asleep and so she "doesn't hear" the water running in the bathroom.

Adams realizes that she is still wearing Chase's leather jacket and so she throws it off.

The steamy mist clouds her senses, as she carefully climbs in.

Chase breathes carefully, as he imagines the feel of her hands against his body. It makes the shower more refreshing and…

"Adams!" He sees her in the shower with him.

"Chase!" Adams realizes what she did and she slips, almost slamming into the wall.

Chase catches her quickly and holds her in his arms.

They stare at each other and there is nothing in between them except for the steamy mist.

Adams places her lips mere inches away from his and whispers an apology. "Sorry. I did not realize that you were here. I was groggy."

With that, he lets her go and she finds her balance.

He leaves the shower first and she stays behind, drooling over what could have been.

New Day New Things

"So I said that I think that there could be a problem with the liver!" Park yells louder.

Adams and Chase still remain silent.

"Hello! Earth to Chase and Adams!" Park waves her hands impatiently. "Is this a one woman case now?"

"No no!" Chase comes back down to Earth.

"Probably another problem." Adams suggests.

"Yeah. Run the tests." Chase dismisses them hops into the office.

Adams looks on hungrily, as he disappears.

Park rolls her eyes and walks away. Adams eventually follows.

When Chase makes his way to his chair, he is met by a knock at the door.

"Masters!" Robert Chase sees the pretty redhead smiling and waving at him.

There is a knock on the door and Cuddy opens it.

"Hi." Simon smiles.

"Hi." Cuddy smiles back and they just stare at each other for a while.

"You came!" Rachel runs out and hugs Simon by the waist.

"Yeah I did!" Simon fights back tears and ruffles Rachel's hair.

"Come on!" Rachel pulls him in. "We play with the blocks and animals!"

"Stuffed animals. She has penguins and bears and more." Cuddy clarifies to Simon, who chuckles.

He takes a deep breath and follows his daughter into her room to play with her.

Back In the Office

"Hi Chase. Good to see you." Masters laughs very nervously.

"Hi. How are you?" Chase notices that she has changed her hair, no more bangs, bright forehead visible.

She had it that way at the funeral too.

"Sorry I didn't get to talk to you at House's funeral." Masters twiddles nervously.

Chase doesn't mention that House is alive. No need to spread the secret.

"Anyway…" Masters grabs ahold of the curtain hanger and turns the blinds shut.

Chase raises his left eyebrow and takes a few steps back but stops because his pants tighten and restricts his movement.

"House's death was a reminder that life is short. And you gotta do everything you ever dreamed of while there is still time." Masters tugs at her elegant red coat and it falls at her feet, under her spiky bloody heels. "I remember you telling some nurses that you liked heels."

Chase has no idea how to respond. Of course, being the horn boy that he is, he's been physically attracted to almost every woman he's ever met.

Masters, despite her awkwardness, is cute and Chase did have some sort of…

Masters places her lips only half an inch away from his. "One time. I promise. Then, you can go back to all those prettier women."

She breathes softly on him and he already starts moning.

She hasn't made a move yet and the great womanizer is already smitten.

Masters kisses Chase softly at first, to savor the feel of lips, and because she has never kissed a boy before.

He easily melts and she inserts her tongue down his throat.

He's every bit as delicious as she ever imagined and she caresses his package with her hand.

Big and now wet with her touch.

Chase throws his tie off and Masters undoes his shirt.

It comes off and she gazes at God's masterpiece.

"Wow." She traces her hands over his chiseled body and squeezes as much as possible.

Chase keeps moning as Masters makes her way through.

"You are bleeding!" Masters stops her movements at the gash marks.

"Just a scar." Chase dismisses her concern.

Masters nods carefully and her flaming red hair morphs into an almondlike dark. Soon, she is taller, more angled, curvy and brighter.

Again, Chase is faced with Adams.

She yanks his belt off and they begin.

After several screams and climatic highs, they come down. Masters is breathing heavily and heeled feet fall to the floor with a thud.

"Here." Chase helps her get up.

"Thanks." Masters blushes with embarrassment. "I was so...my first time...had no idea that it would be so fun and yet so hard. You were terrific and I know that I was a mess. Probably the worst woman you ever…"

"You were not bad at all!" Chase really means it. "Better than several in fact."

"Thanks Chase." Masters rubs his abbs.

"Course." He doesn't mind the feel of her hand on his body.

"Anyway, it was great seeing you again and thanks for doing me. I appreciate it." Masters throws her clothes back on.

Chase watches as she exits the office and he groans.

He can have every woman but not the one he wants.

But then, why did Adams confront him in the shower?

She was obviously lying when she said that she did not know that he was there. The water was running.

Was she trying to…?

Testing and Playing

The two women run the tests in silence.

"How was he?" Park asks suddenly.

Adams pretends not to hear.

"Did you enjoy having sexx with Chase?" Park yells louder.

Adams has had it and she finally breaks down.

Park has no time to react when Adams swings her fist, which smashes into Park's face and knocks off her glasses.

She falls on the floor and rubs her face, which is now moderately bruised.

"In my office now!" Foreman, who has made his way to the lab room, yells.

They follow.

"When can you come back?" Rachel tugs at Simon's leg.

He looks down at her and his heart melts. So cute. So precious.

"Tomorrow." Simon promises. "I will be back."

Cuddy beams. "We will be happy to have you back."

"Take this. And bring him tomorrow but I want you to have him." Rachel hands him the fat penguin doll.

Simon smile cries. "I will!"

Simon is still smiling when he makes his way to his room.

"Hi!" His parents and his brother are already there.

"Great to see you!" Simon hugs them.

"We are looking to build our house here." His parents explain.

"Wow, so you will live near here." Simon is pleased. "I have some more great…"

"You have a stuffed animal!" Simon's brother notices.

"Gift from my daughter." Simon breaks into his big smile and astounds his flabbergasted family. "I will explain."

And he tells the whole story.

Discipline

"What happened?" Foreman demands.

Neither woman answers.

"I can fire you both!" Foreman threatens.

"No you can't!" Chase barges in, while trying to tuck in his shirt.

"Chase, they clearly had a disciplinary…" Foreman begins to say.

"Foreman, remember how Park hit someone and was not fired. Same deal here. You cannot fire Adams. I insist." Chase stands firm.

Adams warms up at his defense. He is going to bat for her.

"And I punched House once and he never pressed charges against me, despite Cuddy's insistence." Chase continues.

"Then, Cuddy pressed charges when House drove his car into her house." Foreman finishes.

"Chase is right." Park steps up. "I am not pressing charges."

Foreman realizes that he is defeated. "Alright then. Do not punch again."

They all leave.

Talks

"Why did you do that?" Adams asks Park.

"You have been nice to me and I figured why not." Park replies.

"That's it?" Adams wonders.

"And I can see how much Chase means to you." Park clarifies. "So, you might as well take your chance.

Park's words sink in and Adams realizes that Park is right.

Adams has to take her chance because Chase is closer to her now, more than ever!

Going Home

"Are you sure about this?" Simon's mother asks with concern.

"Yes. I am. She is my daughter and this is my chance to be her father." Simon is adamant.

"Then we are with you." Simon's brother assures him.

"Of course we are!" Simon's father seconds. "We will search sites tomorrow and then go to meet our granddaughter!"

Simon is ecstatic and he cannot wait for tomorrow!

The car ride back is silent but then Chase suddenly speaks up.

"Adams, I protected you back there because I know that you depend on the salary." Chase explains. "But you cannot go around hitting people like that. It's going to be harder for me to protect you and if something happened to you...I…"

Chase immediately stops because he processes the weight of his statement.

Adams perks up. Is he confessing his feelings?

Chase swerves just in time to avoid veering off the road. That elicits enough shock and keeps him grounded for the rest of the drive.

They make it to the apartment entrance and then he stops and turns around.

"Adams, why did you come into the shower today?" Chase has to know.

Adams does not answer but she blushes under the intense lights.

"Adams…" Chase trails off. "Do you have feelings for me?"

Adams takes a deep breath and tries to play it cool. "What do you think?"

Chase starts shaking. "I think…that I...screwed up...when I turned you down for a date. You asked me out and I was scared."

Adams pinches herself. This is too good to be true!

"Figured I lost my chance then and so much has happened since then but…" Chase is not sure what to say next.

She says it for him by smashing her lips against his.

The butterflies in their stomachs travel up to their throats, as their tongues fight for dominance.

She's more delicious than anything that he's ever imagined and he tastes even better than she pictured him being.

Her hand cups his package and squeezes it.

They suck and suck until they are out of breath and then they break free.

"Can we take this upstairs?" Adams licks Chase's ear, as she whispers into it.

"Of course." Chase squeezes her hand and they enter the building.

Cameron watches from the distance with tears streaming down her green eyes.

He's taken.

He is in love with someone else.

Robert is truly out of her life.

She was a fool to come back here.

No.

She was a fool for ever leaving.

Robert loved her and she never expressed her love in the way that she should have. If she had, he would still love her and she would be the one heading up to his apartment right now.

Then it strikes her.

Maybe Robert never loved her.

With that realization, Allison Cameron wipes the tears from her eyes and heads into the darkness, into the unknown.

Showering

The shower is incredibly refreshing. Jessica Adams and Robert Chase rub their bodies against each other and wet themselves with more than just the shower water.

They kiss as the water pressure increases. They're practically drinking the water from each other's mouths.

There's screaming, coupled with moning and then climaxing.

The shower glass continues to fog up.

"Thanks for that incredible shower." Adams lays her hand on Chase's bare broad shoulder.

"Thank you!" Chase helps her out of the shower.

The steam dissipates and for the first time ever, Adams has a clear view of Chase's body and it is built like a tank.

She feels up the abbs and traces through the pecs before stopping at the heart.

Adams runs her finger through the red gash wounds carefully, in case they still hurt.

"You saved my life that day." Adams starts crying.

Chase kisses her tears away.

"And we both lived." Chase reminds her. "Look, we are here now and we have as much time as we want."

"I really like you." Adams admits and her whole body heats up.

"I really like you too!" Chase swallows her tongue and hoists her onto the bed.

She ends up on top and she brings her lips to his scar.

Adams kisses Chase's heart and devours his heartbeat because now, it is their time.
