Okay, so it's been a while since I actually posted something on this site...I can't really excuse the hiatus. But in honor of Sing 2 coming out in December, I figured I'd give a few of my stories from there a rewrite...even though the majority of them aren't really finished. Enjoy.

"Remind me again why we're still watching this?" Johnny asked. Popping a piece of popcorn into his mouth as he kept his eyes glued to his TV screen while Ash, Meena, and his other friends Reese, Tyler, Ross, and Leona sat around various other spots in his living room.

"Because we've already binged just about every other show on this platform. And it was Ross's idea," Tyler said. Holding back a yawn as Meena stretched on the sofa, and Ash took her phone out of her pocket since it was a lot more interesting than the show they were watching.

"Hey, if we're going to binge something. We might as well watch it through until the end," Ross said.

"Ross, the show got boring after they killed off 'Haskel' in the season eleven finale. There's pretty much nothing left to binge at this point," Leona said as Ash finally decided to look at the time while she had her phone in her hand.

"Oh, shoot. Meena, you completely missed your curfew," she said. Jumping up from the couch to take Meena home as Johnny checked his phone. "We'll see you when you get to the theatre tomorrow, Johnny."

"We should probably get going too," Leona said. Tossing the pillow that had been sitting on her lap at Tyler's head, and getting to her feet as he stretched. "Thanks for letting us have Binge Night here, Johnny. It beats having to huddle in front of the TV in Ross's basement again."

"Hey!"

"It's no problem," Johnny said. Getting up from the couch to walk his friends out to their cars as Reese decided to get up as well to start cleaning up. "Are you guys going to be able to make it home okay?"

"Don't worry, I'll make sure Tyler doesn't drive," Leona said, taking her step-brother's keys from him as Johnny turned his attention over to Reese since Ash and Meena had already left.

"What about you, Reese?" he asked. Seeing her look over at him from her spot in the kitchen doorway with Tyler and Leona's trash in her hands. "You and Ross need a ride home?"

"No, I think we can manage. It's just a couple of blocks," Ross said. Getting up from the floor, and not noticing the glare both gorillas shot at him. "You coming, Reese?"

"I'll catch up in a minute," she said. Tossing out the garbage in her hands, and stamping it down into the overflowing trash bin with her foot before she tied the bag off, and saw Johnny walking towards her as she pulled it out so she could throw it into the dumpster on the way out the door.

"Are you sure you don't need me to give you a ride home?" he asked. Seeing her give off a playful roll of her eyes as they walked towards the door together. "I mean, I know it's not that far. But uh..."

"Don't worry, Johnny. I can handle myself," she said as she tossed the trash bag into the dumpster beside her. "Besides, you heard what Ross said. It's only a couple of blocks."

"I know. But I wouldn't be much of a gentleman if I just let you two walk back by yourselves," he said before he leaned in close to whisper to her. "And between you and me, Ross isn't that great at defending himself."

"I heard that!" Ross shouted at them as Johnny let out an annoyed sigh, and felt Reese put a hand on his shoulder as he looked back up to see her giving him a lopsided grin to put him at ease.

"We'll be fine, Johnny," she said. "If anything happens, I'll know who to use as a shield," she said. Getting a chuckle out of him as Ross let out an offended huff. "So I'll see you tomorrow, after fifth period?"

"Of course," he said. Almost going to give her a hug before they were interrupted by a pair of headlights shining on them from the street. Johnny turning on his heels to tell Ross to leave his truck alone before he saw the three bears that Mike had owed money to getting out of their car, and immediately stepped in front of Reese.

"Hello again, Johnny," the leader of the gang said. His Russian accent rolling off of his tongue as Johnny just stared him down. "Nice to see you're still standing."

"Mike's not here, Ivan. I've already told you this," he said. Motioning for Reese to go over to Ross with a jerk of his head as one of Ivan's men pulled out a switchblade. "If you want your money back that badly, you're going to have to find him yourself."

"But how do we know that you're telling truth?" Ivan asked.

"Why would I have a reason to lie?" Johnny asked. Seeing Ivan look over to the other bear that didn't have a weapon on him, and nodded his head towards him.

"Do you think we should do something?" Ross asked.

"I'm not sure," Reese said. Seeing one of the bears punch Johnny in the face, and letting out a startled gasp as Johnny shook his head, and wiped off the blood from his lip before he returned the punch, and rammed his shoulder into the bear's chest; knocking them back into the hood of their car with a loud thud as Ross fumbled with his phone to dial 9-1-1.

"Yeah, I need a police car sent to the auto garage at-Reese, what the hell are you doing?!"

Getting up from the ground after the bears had thrown him into the side of the dumpster, Johnny groaned, and looked in the direction of Ross's voice as Reese shoulder-checked one of the bears onto the tarmac. Seeing her clock Ivan in the jaw once she had gotten back to her feet, and jumping back up onto his to try and separate them when he saw her start trying to rip out his fur.

"Reese, let go of him!" he said. Shoving Reese to the ground as a gunshot rang out, and the whole area went silent; looking down at his shirt as a plume of scarlet started spreading across his shirt, and letting out a sharp exhale as his legs gave out from the shock. Falling to his knees on the tarmac as he tried to process what had just happened as Ivan looked down at him in disbelief, because he hadn't actually meant to shoot him.

"Boss, we have to go!" Viktor said. Pointing down the street where they could see the red and blue lights from the police cars. Their fast approaching sirens quickly growing louder as Ivan threw his gun to the ground, and quickly got back into his car; peeling out of the parking lot to the garage as two police cars went flying after them.

"Johnny!" Reese yelled. Running to Johnny's side as he slowly gained back enough of his wits to press his hand to his wound to try and stop some of the bleeding until the paramedics got there. His adrenaline preventing him from feeling any real pain as Ross ran over to them.

"I...I'm okay…" he stammered. Hearing the hesitation and fear in his voice as he swallowed to keep from throwing up from the nerves. "I'm alright."

"Like hell you're alright, you just got shot," Ross said as Reese placed her hand on the side of Johnny's face to get him to look at her.

"Johnny, why don't you lie down for a bit. Try to focus on your breathing," she said. Seeing him nod his head in agreement as he laid down, and rested his head on her lap. Trying his best to keep his breathing even as another police car pulled into the parking lot. "You're going to be okay."
