A/N Hey, everyone. This is my very first Transformers fanfic and this is set in an alternate universe. I'm really nervous because I've never published a Transformers fanfic before, so please bare with me if my facts are out of the line. This fanfic will feature my OCs Will Hawthorne, his little sister Amelia, and their cousin Hailey Johnson. The story will take place in the first movie onwards to Revenge of the Fallen and Dark of the Moon. And the character pairing will be Sideswipe/OC and Optimus Prime/OC. I'll explain why I'm not gonna write the fourth and the fifth arcs at the end of the first chapter. This first chapter will take place in the first Transformers movie. So, this is my first Transformers fanfic, and here we go.

I own my OCs. I'm just borrowing the movie's plot and its characters.

ARC 1: Transformers

Optimus' Narration: Before time began, there was the Cube. We know not where it comes from, only that it holds the power to create worlds and fill them with life. That is how our race was born. For a time, we lived in harmony, but like all great power, some wanted it for good, others for evil. And so began the war, a war that ravaged our planet until it was consumed by death, and the Cube was lost to the far reaches of space. We scattered across the galaxy, hoping to find it and rebuild our home, searching every star, every world. And just when all hope seemed lost, message of a new discovery drew us to an unknown planet called Earth. But we were already too late.

Suburban Nevada, June 12th, 2007

It's 2:45 pm. Fifteen more minutes until the day is over. Sitting in her biology class, Amelia Hawthorne is one of those students who wants the day to be over. Living in the quiet suburbs of Nevada with her older brother Will Hawthorne and cousin Hailey Johnson, Amelia felt grateful that she isn't the only girl in her family. Being born one year younger than her brother, she finds her life boring. The reason is because of going through hell in high school, and meeting some high expectations from her parents. And most of all, Will and Hailey were both seventeen years old.

'I wonder how my brother is doing in his history class.' she thought.

Another reason high school is boring is because Will and Amelia both have different sixth period classes despite they have math class together. Their father Tommy had never stopped talking about their great grandfather. And Will is doing some presentation on their family history in his history class. The young Hawthorne is broken out of her thoughts when the final bell rang fifteen minutes later.

"Homework for tonight. Read chapter six from the textbook and answer the questions on your paperwork, not on the textbooks. We're covering chapter seven tomorrow. Remember, top marks on the whole textbook." her biology teacher informed.

'Finally, I have some time to think for myself.' she thought.

Going to her locker, Amelia quickly stashed her homework in her backpack. Just then, Daniel Keene, one of the most obnoxious jocks in school, smirked down at her. Being fifteen years old, Amelia isn't quite fond of Daniel.

"What do you want, Daniel?" she asked annoyingly.

"There is a party at the lake later this evening. You want to join me?" he offered.

"No thanks. Why don't you go with your girlfriend instead?" she said in a smartest way.

"Come on, just one time. Would it hurt for you to go out and party?" he insisted.

"I think my cousin asked you to leave her alone." said Hailey.

Hailey, sharing the same birth year as Will, doesn't tolerate any annoying jocks who would bother her and Amelia. Whenever Hailey sees jocks stalking Amelia, she would immediately step in and tell them to back off.

"I don't think this has anything to do with you, Hailey." said Daniel.

"It does. And my cousin had just told you to leave my sister alone, Daniel." said Will, having heard the conversation.

"What are you gonna do about it?" asked Daniel.

Will dropped his backpack before he grabbed Daniel's left arm and twisted it as he pinned the jock on the locker. Amelia could swear her brother would go from zero to one hundred percent of bad mood real quick. Nevertheless, Amelia is grateful and appreciated that he's very protective of her and Hailey.

"This is what I do to the jocks who bothers my sister and my cousin. And this will be your only warning. If you and your buddies come near Amelia and Hailey again, we will have some serious consequences. Do we understand each other?" Will replied.

When Daniel doesn't reply, Will asked again, "I said, do we understand each other?"

"Yes, we understand each other." Daniel replied.

"Say it like you mean it. Say it!" Will demanded as he applied more pressure on Daniel's arm.

"Yes! We understand each other!" Daniel repeated.

"Good." said Will as he let go of Daniel's arm and shoved him forward to the other jocks.

"Now scram! And take your buddies with you." the older Hawthorne finished.

Just like that, Daniel and his buddies scrammed, fearing what the older Hawthorne would do to them if they didn't leave. Will picked up his backpack and joined his sister and his cousin as they walked to the school's front entrance. Waiting for them is Will and Amelia's father, hoping to hear that Will got a good grade in his history class.

"Hey, dad!" Amelia called.

The young Hawthorne placed her backpack in the backseat as she watched her older brother gave their father his assignment. Hailey joined her in the backseat of the car. Will and Amelia's father examined the paper briefly before giving it back to Will, confirming that it's an A. Will asked if he's good, and their father confirmed that he's good.

"So, a trip to the car dealership?" asked Hailey.

The family pulled out of the school's parking lot as they drove to the car dealership. Will and Amelia's father had promised to get Will his first car if he got an A grade on his school's assignment. Unbeknownst to them, a 1976 Chevrolet Camaro was secretly following behind them. Pulling up to the Bobby Bolivia's car dealership, Amelia and Hailey didn't like any of the old rusted cars here. There was a bunch of junk, which caused their dislike even more.

Getting out of the car, the four of them are met by a middle aged black man, who happens to be the owner of the dealership. The 1976 Chevrolet Camaro had parked between the two old and rusted cars, secretly observing the family.

"Gentlemen! Bobby Bolivia, like country, except without the runs. How can I help you?" the owner offered.

Amelia and Hailey starred at each other. They knew they were gonna get ripped off. And they both have the same thought. They should've gone to a different dealership.

"Well, my son here is looking to buy his first car." Tommy motioned to Will.

"You come to see me?" Bobby Bolivia asked.

"I had to. It was my dad's idea." Will replied, trying to keep a straight face.

Amelia and Hailey walked over to the 1976 Chevrolet Camaro, and it has black racing stipes down the middle. This definitely didn't fit in with the rest of the old cars around the dealership.

"Hey, Will! Come check this out!" Hailey called.

Will came over and opened the door as he climbed in and sat down on the driver's seat.

"Huh. Feels good." Will muttered, feeling comfortable on the driver's seat.

The older Hawthorne placed his thumb and wiped off whatever was on the horn of the driver's wheel. Instead of the normal Chevrolet logo, it was replaced with an odd logo that was never seen before.

'That's odd. I've never seen this kind of logo before.' he thought.

"How much?" asked Tommy.

"Well, considering the semi-classic nature of the vehicle, with the slick wheels and the custom paint job-" Bobby started.

"Yeah, but its faded." said Will.

"Yeah, but its custom." Bobby cut in.

"It's custom faded?" asked Hailey as she raised her eyebrow.

"Well, it's your first car. I wouldn't expect you to understand. Five grand." said Bobby as he raised his hand with five fingers.

'That's fantastic. Will's allowance limit is at four grand.' Amelia thought.

"No, I'm not paying over four. Sorry." said Tommy.

"Alright, kid. Out the car." Bobby ordered.

"Hey, hey! You said cars pick their drivers." Will argued.

"Well sometimes they pick a driver with a cheap ass father." Bobby snapped back.

Will groaned loudly as he got out of the Camaro while Amelia and Hailey watched from the sidelines as they shook their heads.

"How does everyone walk out of this dealership based on how bad the customer service is handled here?" asked Hailey.

"I really have no idea at all, Hailey." Amelia replied.

"There's a Fiesta over there with racing strips." Tommy pointed out.

"I don't want a Fiesta, dad." said Will.

Just then, the Camaro's side door popped open and hit the car next to it, leaving a pretty good sized dent.

"No worries. I'll get a sledgehammer and knock this right out. Manny! Get your clown cousin and get some hammers and come bang this stuff out baby!" Bobby called.

Suddenly there was a loud noise and "Greater than man" could be heard coming from one of the radios before all of the car's windows shattered except the Camaro.

"Holy shit!" Amelia cried, having covered her ears as her brother, her cousin, and her father did the same as well.

Bobby looked around devastated at all of the money he must have just lost.

"Four thousand!" He held up four fingers as he started to have a mild meltdown.

"We'll take it!" said Tommy as he gave Bobby four grand, seeing there was no other choice but to buy the Camaro for his son.

And just like that, Bobby took the money and Will got in the Camaro, feeling satisfied that he didn't need to buy the other rusted vehicles and got settled with the Camaro Tommy bought for him.

"Well, the Camaro takes a win for this one." Hailey commented as she sat in the backseat.

"Lucky for my brother." Amelia agreed as she sat down in the passenger seat beside her older brother.

"Don't worry, Em. You're gonna be turning sixteen years old in the next few days. You'll get yourself a car soon enough." said Will as he pat on his little sister's shoulder reassuringly.

And that is the first chapter and the beginning of the first act. So, what do you guys think so far? Love it? Hate it? This first chapter is dedicated to late actor and comedian Bernie Mac. I'll do my best to make time to write this since I'm currently focused on my other projects. If you guys haven't checked out my other projects, please take your time to check it out and let me know what you think. Amelia's a year younger than Will and Hailey and they all go to the same high school. Picture Amelia with blonde hair, blue eyes, average height, tan skinned, and athletic build. Think of Will with light skinned, athletic build, taller than Amelia, dark brown hair, and light brown eyes. And think of Hailey with the same height as Will, mix of light and tanned skin, auburn hair, brown eyes, and athletic build, just like both Will and Amelia. In the meantime, I'm gonna come up with some ideas on introducing the other Autobots later. In the next chapter, Will meets his best friend and secret crush Maddie Taylor and Amelia discovers a Corvette Stingray while she goes out for a run. So the reason why I don't have plans to write act four Age of Extinction and act five The Last Knight is, because they both sucked and never brought back any surviving Autobots. And I hated the idea of Ratchet getting killed off in Age of Extinction. Because of it, I won't write Age of Extinction and The Last Knight after I finish writing the three acts.
