Sara woke suddenly in the night. She moved to the edge of her bed and put her head in her hands. Over the past few days she hadn't been able to sleep very well and this night was one of them. No one else was asleep and she made sure of that asking Gideon of everyone's whereabouts. She walked to the bridge just to get away from the quarters for a while. She ran her fingers through her hair trying to calm down. All she could see out of the window was space. They had been stuck there for a few days now and it was getting a little annoying.

"Can't sleep?" Someone said behind her. It made her jump but she soon came back down when she recognised the voice.

"Looks like you can't either." Sara smirked as Constantine walked up to her.

"Well, the waverider is getting a bit too full at the moment. Needed some space. You?" Constantine yawned.

Constantine was right. Since the last time Sara had checked there were now ten people on board including herself. Considering how many legends first started, they certainly had grown!

"If you're just going to think to yourself, I'll leave." Constantine said bringing Sara back to… earth.

"It's fine, you can stay. Just don't talk about anything weird."

"That's talking about the crew behind their backs out then."

Sara sighed at this from John. She really wanted to laugh but didn't want to wake up the others. A warning sound then sounded around the bridge and Sara guessed around the ship as well. The two looked at each other and then got ready for a lot of grouchy people on the bridge.

"Why?! Why can't we sleep for once?!" Ava moaned as she met Gary coming out of her quarters towards the bridge.

"Unless you can find Gideon's off switch, not for a while." Gary yawned, still cracking jokes no matter what the hour.

"Remind me to do that later."

Mick came charging out of his quarters, nearly knocking Ava off her feet. This was a big surprise as Mick was definitely not a morning person!

"Was that Mick?" Gary chuckled pointing in the direction Mick had gone.

"Who knows?"

"Attention Legends. Captain Lance asks for you all to attend the bridge now." Gideon continued to say.

"How many times has Sara programmed her to do that?" Ava thought of the argument she was going to have with Sara later.

"Probably just to annoy you." Gary patted her on the back.

Ava made a face and then went in the direction Mick had gone earlier. Charlie and Zar staggered out of their quarters on their way. Ray hadn't appeared yet but they were sure he was probably already awake. True he was in one of those moods where he could be completely different from normal days.

"You're eager aren't you?" Constantine laughed as he saw Mick through the door first.

"Early bird." Mick answered, sounding a bit more rushed than usual.

"Sorry I'm late. Me and Nate had to look over one of the parts of the engine." Ray finally appeared.

"Anything wrong?" Sara asked, crossing her arms. She would have thought Gideon would have told her if something was wrong.

"Doesn't look like it. Nothing major anyway." Nate shook his head putting Sara a bit more at ease.

The rest of the crew soon turned up with Charlie last. All of them looked exhausted and quite cranky. Gideon would have to be careful on how she went about telling the news for now.

"What is it Gideon?" Sara asked, gathering around the center table.

"I have received a message from earth that has been marked very important. It says you have to respond soon." Gideon told the Legends.

"Where's it from?" Sara continued to ask as the other legends didn't seem like they were going to be talking.

"Star City 2020." Gideon said, with all of the legends listening more closely.

A message from Star City was quite a surprise. Let alone from 2020! Sara clicked on the table and a map with where the message came from came up.

"So is it a time difference or something else?" Ray finally spoke.

"Something else." Gideon sounded surprised.

"Right, we'll set a course for Star City 2020." Ray nodded as the legends sat down in their seats.

A lone figure stood at the outskirts of Star City. They hoped the message they had sent had reached where it was supposed to. The world or history might not need them right now, but he did. Maybe they would actually listen for once.

"They'll be here. They have to be here." He told himself.

000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

"Any idea as to who sent that message yet Gideon?" Constantine asked, rubbing his forehead trying to wake up.

"Not yet. I'm trying to home in on the message now but still no answer." Gideon said tutting.

"I just hope it's a mission. Being stuck in space doesn't exactly give you a lot of things to do." Mick mentioned.

Zari looked over to Charlie who had been quiet since they had gotten to the bridge. Charlie normally said quite a bit when they were up here so for her not to say anything was a bit surprising.

"Charlie you okay?" Zari whispered to her.

No response came however. Charlie just continued to stare at the ground. Zari was about to ask her again just in case she didn't hear her, when the waverider viewscreen showed clouds once again. It was nice to see clouds even if they had no idea where they were headed.

"Here we are. Let's hope we don't bump into a certain green vigilante." Nate said smiling to Sara.

"Yes Nate." Sara said not really taking any notice of Nate.

Sara set the camfolague on so that no one could see the waverider. She didn't particularly want to go underwater this time. They landed and everyone was soon off the waverider.

"So it's the middle of the night and we have no idea who we're looking for. Good odds." Mick was back to his usual grumpy self.

"Just keep an eye out for anyone looking weird." Sara told the legends.

"Not including us?" Constantine jokes.

Sara ignored the comment and made everyone split up into twos to pan out. She went with Constantine, Mick with Gary, Nate and with Ray and Zari with Ava. Sara had suggested Charlie should stay on the bridge just in case anything happened. She hadn't fought against it like she normally did but she didn't look too happy about being left behind.

"Do you think there's something with Charlie?" Zari asked Ava once the group had split.

"Like what?" Ava asked, raising an eyebrow.

"I don't know. She's just not said anything in a while."

"Maybe she's just tired. I certainly am."

"But she's not even saying anything about Ray's bad jokes anymore. Don't you think that's a bit different?"

"I suppose. Look, let's concentrate on the mission and we'll talk to her when we get back." Ava tried to concentrate on finding whoever sent the message.

Zari thought about it and then nodded. Ava was right. Charlie might be back to her old self when they get back. She was just overreacting. Hopefully.

"Over here!" A shout from Ray sounded in the night.

The rest of the legends looked up from where they were searching. They all raced over to see what Ray had found. A figure stood in front of Ray and Nate. Sara shone a light in it's face to have a closer look.

"Hey, watch it Lance!" Jax shouted, reeling back.

"Jefferson!"
