Mary Jane Watson walked down the streets after her audition, she loved New York at night, even after yet another failed audition.

"Hey!" She turned around and saw Gwen Stacy running towards her. "It's me again."

"Hey!" Mary Jane smiled as she looked at the cute blonde. She had a secret crush on the woman ever since they met via Peter.

"How did your audition go?" Gwen asked when she got to the redhead.

"How did you know?" Mary Jane relished in the feeling that Gwen was so thoughtful for her.

"Ah," Gwen chuckled nervously. "Your mom told Peter's aunt, told Peter, told me."

"So, you just came by?" Could it be that her secret crush wasn't unrequited?

"I was in the neighbourhood and needed to see a friendly face." Gwen told her. "I took two busses and a cab to get in the neighbourhood but- so how did it go?"

"Ahm," She swallowed, how could she tell this to one of her biggest supporters. "They say I needed acting lessons. A soap opera told me I needed action lessons."

Gwen chuckled at her joke. "Well, let me buy you a cheeseburger. The sky is the limit, up to seven dollars and eighty-four cents."

"I'd like a cheeseburger." She said, but then remembering her plans with Harry. "Oh, but I'm going out to dinner with Harry tonight. Come with us?"

"No thanks," Gwen looked saddened, and all MJ wanted to do is hug that pout off her adorable face. "How's it going with… never mind – it's none of my business."

"It's not?" She teased, hoping Gwen would pick up on her flirting. "Why so interested?"

"I'm not." She could feel that Gwen was lying to her, but for the moment she let it go.

"You're not?" MJ raised an eyebrow, the girl who took two busses and a cab just for this conversation had to be interested, right?

"Why would I be?" Gwen asked her.

"Why would you be?" She shot back, still smirking and teasing the smaller blonde.

"I… I." The blonde stammered and blushed and MJ thought it was the cutest thing she had ever seen.

"I'm sorry you won't come with us," MJ said hoping the truth rang through her words. Just then the lightning started announcing the expected storm. 'I better run, tiger.'

"Wait, MJ." Was what she hoped, but Gwen never shouted anything of the sorts. When Mary Jane turned the corner, she would have sworn that Gwen was watching her.

The rain started to fall as she made her decision, tonight she would break it off with Harry and tomorrow she'd ask Gwen out. It was then that she heard two men following her.

"Hey, wait up baby," One yelled. "Come on."

She crossed the streets and started to run. Two men turned into four as she ran into an alley which ended into a building. MJ was trapped.

She ran away, but they caught up with her. The men surrounded her and made kissy noises to her. As soon as one of them grabbed her arm, she screamed and punched the perp, kicking one of the others.

No matter how many self-defence classes she had taken, she could have never overcome four men, and soon they were all over her. And then… they weren't.

Mary Jane turned around to see one person in the middle of four people and kicking all of their arses. She squinted her eyes, to see a black and white suit with accents of pink and bright blue. It was the woman who had saved her when she was with Harry and Peter and the green man tried to kill them all.

Only this time, the small hero seemed to not wear a mask as she beat up four guys. The hero kicked and punched, and MJ had to dodge two that were thrown to the wall close to where she was standing.

Her saviour was held the last perp in her hands as they locked eyes, at least, that is what MJ thought, it was awfully dark in the rain and cold. Somewhere in the skirmish, she had lost her coat.

Drenched, she walked towards her unmasked saviour who quickly went into a smaller alley. "Wait." MJ followed, but could not see where her hero had gone to, as the alley was empty.

She felt defeated as she turned around and around looking for the figure, just wanted to thank her.

"You have a knack for getting in trouble." MJ giggled and turned around only to see her masked saviour hanging upside down.

"You have a knack for saving my life." She told the figure. "I think I have a superheroine stalker."

"I was in the neighbourhood." The figure said, which sounded awfully familiar.

"You are…. Amazing." She told her hero

"Some people don't think so." The masked woman told her.

"But you are." She smiled, twice now she had

"Nice to have a fan." The heroine chuckled.

"Do I get to say thank you for this time?"She asked, taking a step to the masked woman and reaching up to undo her mask.

"Wait…"The woman said softly, probably not even sure why she said it. Slowly, Mary Jane pulled the mask down, revealing a smooth chin and soft lips. She grabbed her hero's face and pressed her lips lightly on hers.

The soft kiss grew heated as MJ felt a tongue intruding her mouth. Fervently, she drew the upside-down face closer towards her own.

But as good as it felt, it felt wrong because it wasn't with Gwen, not she had kissed Gwen yet, Gawd, MJ felt like a fool.

"I can't do this." She whispered onto the masked heroine's lips. "I'm in love with someone else."

"I know," The heroine said. "Harry loves you as well."

"It is not Harry." Mary Jane told her then a confused appeared on her face. "Wait how do you know?"

"I don't." The hero stammered, she tried to use her web to go up, but she let go and fell down. "Auch." Before the hero, could walk away and hide her face in shame, she was pinned down into a puddle by Mary Jane, who sat on top of her body, gazing at her mask.

"How do you know me?" She gritted through her teeth. "Are you really my stalker?"

"Maybe…" Gwen saw no other option, well, she could have thrown Mary Jane from her and run away, but she couldn't, so she brought her hands to her mask and pulled it from her face.

"Gwen?" Mary Jane was shocked, her sweet Gwen was laying in the puddle, pinned underneath her.

"Don't tell anyone please, MJ." She pleaded. "I'm begging of you."

"We kissed." Mary Jane stated after a moment of silence.

"That is what you're going with?" Gwen chuckled. "No, you are the spider-woman?"

"Aren't they calling you spider-girl?" The redhead teased.

"Stupid, James Jonah Jameson." Gwen mumbled.

"What happened?" Mary Jane asked, still on Gwen.

"Bit by a spider and everything." She told quickly. "Could you get off me, please?"

"Of course." The redhead got off from her friend and crush and sat down on the pavement. "But we kissed?"

"I see you're not letting that go." Gwen sat down next to her. "We did, and I'm sorry, I know you're with Harry."

"I'm breaking up with him tonight." MJ stated.

"You are?" The blonde asked.

"I want to be with another." She told Gwen.

"Oh, I see." Gwen let her head hang. "Who?"

"You, tiger." Mary Jane said. "There is no other, but you."

"Really?" Gwen asked her, giddy from excitement.

"Really." MJ shivered, the cold finally winning from the adrenaline.

"You're cold, I'm sorry." Gwen hugged her, trying to give her some warmth. "Do you want me to take me to your place?"

"How about we go to yours?" MJ flirted, more confident now that the cat was out of the bag. 'I could really use a hot shower,'

"I'd love to." Gwen grabbed her by the waist and stood up. She shot a web into the sky and the two young women soared through the skyline of Manhattan.

Crime would have to wait a night, for tonight Gwen wasn't a Spider, tonight she was a Tiger, MJ's Tiger and the redhead making sure that night that the blonde hit her Jackpot.

"You didn't." Said Mary Jane then she rolled over and wrap her arms around Gwen's arm. "I felt like you weren't here and I got worried." Gwen blink as she heard the words that were clearly true. "MJ?"

"MHM?" Asked Mary Jane her eyes still closed but the small smile on her face remained. "I- I love you." Gwen heart was beating very fast. "I love you too tiger. So much."

After a long moment Gwen look at the ceiling again and gave a great sigh. Then laid back down, pulling Mary Jane into her arms. Mary Jane's head was now laying over Gwen now calm heart.
