Mara and Icarus cheered as they reigned victorious, but their celebration was short-lived as they remembered about King David Silver. They rushed over to Summer Hold and noticed that the king had loaded the unconscious criminals onto a cart preparing to take them away.

"Words cannot express how grateful we are for you, Mara," the king stated. "I just wish those delinquents didn't cause so much destruction."

"And it's all my fault," Mara replied as she dropped her head. "None of this would've happened if I didn't let Ivy escape during our first encounter."

"If it'll make you feel any better," the king smiled, "I could use some assistance in rebuilding my town."

"She'll need some help," Icarus inquired. "You can count me in."

"Icarus..." Mara started.

"You don't have to say anything else," Icarus interrupted. "If I learned anything from this wild journey, it's that the types of people you meet don't matter. All that matters is whether you can make friends with them."

Mara began to smile, and her eyes began to fill with tears.

"Mara," continued Icarus, "I love you."

"I-I love you too, Icarus," Mara replied as she wiped the tears from her face. The two leaned closer and embraced each other. Mara slipped her bandana off of her face as she prepared to kiss Icarus. The two kissed for a few seconds before King David Silver cleared his throat.

"You didn't forget about our deal, did you?" the king asked with an impatient tone in his voice.

"D-Don't worry, your majesty!" Mara stammered with a bright red face. "We'll get working right away!"

"Wait a minute," interrupted Icarus, "what do we do about the criminals?"

"Oh, don't worry about them," answered the king. "They'll be spending a good portion of their sentence rebuilding the Silent Tower."

The two breathed a sigh of relief as they prepared to rebuild Summer Hold. The remaining citizens who were not badly wounded agreed to help out. Some would tend to the injured, while others assisted with fixing all of the broken buildings.

Many weeks had passed since the Minotaur incident, and Summer Hold had finally been fully restored. King David Silver congratulated everyone who participated in the project and awarded Mara and Icarus with medals of courage and loyalty.

"My people can't thank you enough for all you've done for us," the king stated. "Your names will go down in the books of Magius as the greatest heroes who ever lived."

The townsfolk cheered for the success of the two heroes who brought justice to this land. Mara and Icarus couldn't help but smile from ear to ear as they received praise from their adoring fans.

Years had passed since the incident, and Mara and Icarus finally decided to marry. They held their wedding in the town hall at Ironport, where a beautiful view of the ocean could be seen. Mara wore a long and beautiful wedding dress, and Icarus wore a white tunic with a blue cape.

They both gazed into each other's eyes as their vows were spoken, until they finally kissed and tied the knot. They felt as if nothing could ever separate them. The two continued to embark on all kinds of adventures together forever.

As for the main villains of this story, they finished rebuilding the Silent Tower, but they still had to serve their sentence there. Who knew when they would be released, or who would break them out? Whatever happened, Mara Stone and Icarus Gold were ready.
