(Author's Note: Sorry about the wait, I've been busy with work, and I'm struggling with a bad case of writers block, trying to finish this story, and the other stories I'm simultaneously working on, it's a bitch, what can I say).

Chapter Three: Looking For Donna.

The sliding glass door opens, Eric walks in the Kitchen, Red and Kitty are there.

Eric - Any sign of her yet?

Kitty - No, Jackie and Fez are looking around by the school, Steven and Bob went looking around the neighborhood.

Eric -It's been a few hours, I'm starting to get worried.

Kitty - I wonder where she could be?

Red - The way this idiot took care of the vista cruiser, she'll be lucky to make it to the edge of the city.

Kitty - You would be daughter in-law is missing, and all you can do is make jokes at your son's expense?

Red - It's not his fault, he's a dumbass.

She looks at him, angrily.

Red - I'm not pointing fingers.

The sliding glass door opens again, Kelso walks in the kitchen, he's in his police uniform.

Red - Oh, look, it's Barney Fife.

Kelso - Come on, I'm in uniform. Show me respect.

Red - Coming from the guy who shot most of our pets.

Kelso - Those were accidents.

Red - I think you being dropped on your head was an accident.

Kelso - Not all of them.

Red turns to Eric.

Red - How are you friends with this Moron?

Eric - He's old enough to buy us beer.

Officer Kennedy walks in.

Officer Kennedy - Eric Forman.

Eric - That's me.

Officer Kennedy - I have good news...

Kelso (interrupting) - And Bad News.

Officer Kennedy - Officer Kelso, don't ever interrupt me while I'm talking to a civilian.

Kelso - Yes, sir. Sorry.

Officer Kennedy turns to Eric.

Officer Kennedy - The good news is that we found your car.

Eric - That's good.

Officer Kennedy - The gas tank is empty though.

Eric - That's not good.

Red - You forgot to fill up the car with gas?

Kitty - Red, not now, you can yell at him later.

Officer Kennedy - The Bad News is that Miss Pinciotti was nowhere to be seen by the vehicle.

Eric - Where was the car located?

Officer Kennedy - By the water tower.

Eric - I think I know where she might be. Can you guys take me there?

Officer Kennedy - Absolutely.

He turns to Kelso.

Officer Kennedy - Officer Kelso.

Kelso - Sir.

Officer Kennedy - I want you to drive Mr. Forman to where the water tower is, I'm gonna make a phone call to have the car moved over here.

Kelso - Yes, sir.

He turns to Eric.

Kelso - Come on, I can show you how to handle a shotgun.

Officer Kennedy hears that remark, he doesn't look happy.

Officer Kennedy - What?!

Kelso - Come on, it's not like it's loaded or anything.

Officer Kennedy - Young man, stand back, I need to have a little talk with Officer Kelso.

The sliding glass door is open, Kelso is thrown out.

Kelso - AAAHHH!

He falls off screen.

Kelso (off screen) - I'm okay!

Red and Kitty look out the doorway, Red grins.

Red - Now that was funny.

Kitty - You enjoy watching other people suffer don't you, Red Forman.

Red - He did it to himself.

Eric arrives at the water tower, he looks up.

Eric - Man, I'm getting flashbacks from Halloween.

He takes a deep breath, and he starts climbing up the ladder, he stops.

Eric - Don't look down, don't look down.

He looks down.

Eric - Oh, god, what am I doing?!

He closes his eyes.

Eric - Just keep climbing, and don't look down.

He continues climbing.

Eric reaches the top of the tower, he sees Donna, sitting on the side, leaning on the rails, it looks like she's been crying.

Eric - Hey.

Donna - ...Hey.

Eric - Everyone's been looking for you.

Donna - I know...

Eric sits beside her.

Eric - Look, I'm sorry about your mom, I really am.

Donna - The past few days have been crazy, I mean like, the wedding being canceled, you leaving me, and now my Mom...

She pauses, trying not to cry, but she does, Eric comforts her.

Eric - It's okay.

Donna - It's not..

She wipes her tears.

Donna - The last time I talked to her, was when I told her about the wedding, I begged her to come home, so we could be a family again, she said no, I was so upset, that I told her horrible stuff, and hung up on her, and that was the last conversation we had.

She cries again, Eric holds her.

Eric - It wasn't your fault.

Donna - Now I'll never have the chance to tell her that I'm sorry.

Eric - Your mom loved you, you know that, she knew that you didn't mean it.

Eric wipes away her tears.

Eric - I think we were both not ready.

Donna - You think so?

Eric - All of this could've been avoided if we had just discussed this. You know, we were both in over our heads, so desperately wanting to leave this place behind, and I was trying so hard to prove to Red that I wasn't a screw-up . But me leaving proved that he was right. I am one.

Donna - We were both dumb.

Eric - I think we need to take a break.

Donna - Call off the engagement?

Eric - Everything, the engagement, our moving plans, Us.

Donna - Break up?

Eric - For now. We both need time to deal with stuff.

Donna - Yeah.

Someone is heard climbing up the ladder, it's Kelso.

Kelso - Did you find her?

Eric - Yeah, she's here.

Kelso - We gotta head back.

Eric - Yeah, We're coming down.

They both get up, and begin walking towards the ladder.

Donna - Just be careful, guys, one of the rails might be close to breaking.

Kelso - Come on, it's sturdy.

The rail breaks, Kelso loses his balance, and in the process grabs Eric, they both fall off the tower.

Donna - Oh my god! Eric!? Kelso!?

Kelso (off screen) - I think we fell!

Donna - You guys okay?!

Eric (off screen) - Donna, can you drive us to the Hospital?! I think I broke my ass!

She shrugs, and starts climbing down.

Everyone is in the living room, Eric has a bandage on his forehead.

Eric - So after some time thinking, and another visit to the emergency room courtesy of Kelso, we've both decided to call off our engagement.

Fez - I knew it.

Hyde - Pay up.

Fez - I know.

Fez hands him twenty dollars.

Kitty - What are you gonna do now?

Red - I'll tell you what he's gonna do.

Red turns to Eric.

Red - You're gonna get a job, I'm not letting you sit around here and mooch.

Eric - Look, I'll pay both of you back, I'll get a job, I'll do whatever it takes.

Hyde - I can get him a job back at the hotel, Roy's in charge of hiring.

Eric - Of course he is, he's responsible for half of them quitting.

Hyde - I know, I help him out sometimes when he calls.

There's a knock at the door.

Kitty - Now who could that be?

She goes to the front door, and opens it, a familiar blonde woman walks in, it's Laurie.

Laurie - I'm back!

Kitty - Laurie!

She runs and hugs her daughter.

Kitty - What are you doing back here?

Laurie - I just missed my family.

Kitty - Cut the Crap, Laurie. What did you do this time?

Laurie - Alright, I got kicked out of the apartment I was staying at, and I got nowhere to be. So can I move back in?

Kitty - Sure, you can stay with Fez in your old room.

Red - What? The foreign kid's been staying here all this time?

Kitty - Red, we can't just throw him out, plus he's still married to Laurie.

Red - They're still married?!

He falls back into his chair.

Eric - Uh-oh, heart attack round two.

Kitty heads to the chair, and checks on him.

Kitty - No, he's okay. Probably just in shock.

Red - Why me?

Fez - Don't worry, we'll get through this, Dad.

Red looks at him, he looks mad.

Fez - Okay, I'll leave you alone now.

Fez walks over to Laurie.

Fez - I'm horny, want to have sex?

Laurie - Sure.

Fez smiles, they go upstairs.

Hyde - And please shut the door this time!

Everyone looks at him.

Hyde - What? I went to the bathroom late one night, and the door was wide open.

Kitty - Red.

Red - He thinks it was them, just run with it.

Hyde - It's like when Forman walks around naked.

Eric - I was wrapped in a bedsheet!

Red - Steven, don't you have somewhere else to be?

Hyde - Not really.

Red - Well, get lost.

Hyde - Ok. If anyone needs me, I'll be in the basement.

He leaves the living room.

Eric - What do you know, he might not have gained a daughter in-law, but...

Donna (interrupting) - He got Fez instead.

Red looks at them, angrily.

Eric - Ok, let's go upstairs.

Both of them go up the stairs.

End of Chapter Three.

(Author's Note: What do y'all think? Let me know. The next chapter will probably be the last one, unless I get any other ideas along the way, but we shall see).

(Also: I'll have the brief character bios of the two sisters before the story starts).
