I just want to thank you guys so much for sticking with this story. I can see how many of you viewed it and I am so very thankful!

It's the final stretch now, only 3 more chapters to go!

'That was so much better.' Raven sighed, brushing her hair. Salt water really doesn't like her hair. It made it all tangly and poofy. 'I really shouldn't have gone for that shell. It really wasn't worth it in retrospect.'

Leaving the bathroom, she headed back to her room. She was very curious as to what was in the package from Titans East. She'd text Bumble Bee after she opened it.

Walking in her room and putting her brush back on her dresser, she grabbed a pair of scissors from her desk and sat on the floor, opening the box.

She made sure to read all the little notes and drawings from the East team, touched that they cared so much about her. She was careful to not cut into any of their additions to the box.

Opening it revealed a whole plethora of items. There was a journal, pens, a small squishmollow,

'Why did they always give me those?' she thought, pulling out the small bumble bee stuffed animal. She grinned, knowing who got it for her.

Tossing it on her bed next to her frog and all the other stuffed animals she had been gifted throughout the years, she continued to unload the box. There were also a few boxes of jello, a candle, a Little Mermaid puzzle. She sighed and shook her head. They'll never let that go will they. A few balls of yarn she wanted to get, a cozy feeling sweatshirt that she mentioned once to Speedy that she liked, and a card.

Pulling out the card she observed the front. It was drawn by Mas and Menos, a picture of them holding each of her hands with the other Titans from both teams around them with "We hope you feel better" written in Spanish. Smiling, she turned the paper around to see a note from Bumble Bee on the back also expressing how she hopes she feels better and to call her with a side note from Aqualad about how there's receipts inside the journal and then another note from Speedy about how much it cost to do one day shipping from Pennsylvania to California so he hopes she liked what they got her, also wishing her she'd feel better.

Opening the journal, sure enough were the receipts, taped into the front cover.

Taking the lid off the candle, she sniffed it warily, unsure of what scent it was since there wasn't a label on it. She was shocked to find that it was apple, her favorite.

Taking the sweatshirt out of the box, she unfolded it to see it was the same one she saw when they all went shopping together one day. It was multicolored, the body light purple, one sleeve light pink, the other a lighter purple, and the hood, pockets, and accents a light blue. Standing up and walking in front of her mirror, she tried it on. Pulling it over her head gently, it fit loosely, a size bigger in a way it felt like her cloak. Both phone and communicator fitting in the front pocket. Walking over to her bedside table, she took her book off the top and stuck it in the pocket. It fit. She nodded in satisfaction. Taking it back off and putting it in her laundry basket, she sat back down and pulled out her phone, finding Bumble Bees contact and texting her a quick thank you.

Suddenly realizing that she hasn't eaten or drank since breakfast and it was now almost four in the afternoon, she made her way to the main room, jello packets in tow.

"Oh," Starfire exclaimed joyfully, "It is Raven!"

They all turned around to see Raven walking through the door and bracing herself when Starfire flew over and hugged her gently, hands on her back.

"Hey star." She greeted, putting her hands on her back as well.

"Are you feeling better after your shower?" She asked, worried for her friend's delicate mouth.

"A bit, but it still hurts." Raven responded. "Can you let me go so I can get some ice cream?"

"Do not worry, I will get it for you!" Starfire flew into the kitchen, stopping to get a bowl, spoon, and the ice cream from the freezer. "Which would you like?"

"I don't really care," Raven walked to the kitchen island and sat down between Robin and Beast Boy, "surprise me."

"Will the chocolate chips of the mint be alright?"

Raven tossed the jello boxes on the counter and thought for a good few seconds debating on whether the chocolate chips would be an issue or not before deciding, "Sure."

"Are you sure the chocolate chips won't be an issue?" Robin asked through the bond so it wouldn't draw more attention, having the same thought.

"I think it'll be fine." Raven responded, taking the bowl when Starfire handed it to her. "Besides, chocolate chips melt. And I can always swallow them."

"Good points."

"Wait!" Cyborg shouted from the couch, startling them all. "Let me check out your mouth before you eat."

Raven sighed and looked at Robin who just shrugged. "He's worried."

"Fine." Raven grumbled, turning around in her chair.

"Come into the kitchen," Cyborg stood up, "the lightings better over there."

Raven inhaled sharply and stood up, walking over to the sink.

"Ok," Cyborg said, walking to the sink as well and washing his hands, "let's see the outside."

Raven turned her face so her left cheek was facing him.

He found no marks besides the flush from just being exhausted.

"Alright, now open."

Raven opened her mouth enough to take the gauze pads out, both her and Cyborg wincing when they saw how much blood was there.

Beast Boy sunk down in his seat, feeling extremely guilty. Even though it was an accident, he felt really bad. He didn't mean to hurt her and now she was in more pain because of him.

Starfire, watching the whole thing, walked over to Beast Boy and gave him a loose hug, letting him know that none of them blamed him.

Now having removed the gauze and throwing it away, Cyborg was able to check her out.

It didn't look like anything was torn, well, any more than it already was, or otherwise broken. It all looked alright.

"Ok," he concluded, signaling that she could close her mouth, "it doesn't look like anything tore, just that it bled some when it got hit. Other than that I'd say you're good."

They all sighed in relief, Beast Boy most of all.

Raven nodded and wiped a bit of blood from the corner of her mouth with the back of her hand, sitting back down in her chair and starting to eat her ice cream slowly and carefully.

Cyborg reached back into the sink and lifted Raven's ice holder up, it still being wet, but slowly drying. "You're in luck Rave."

Raven looked up from her ice cream, mid bite.

"You won't have to ice for a bit." He finished, dropping it back in the sink with a wet smack. "Was that your grand plan all along, get it wet along with sleeping with Star?"

Raven smiled slightly at him being right about the second reason. "The water was an accident."

Cyborg looked at her doubtfully with a hand on his hip and one eyebrow raised.

"I swear." She tried to reason. "That wave came out of nowhere. I just meant to get the shell, not get soaked."

"Mm Hmm."

Raven rolled her eyes. "You can believe what you want."

Cyborg chuckled seeing he was successful in ruffling her feathers. "Just make sure to flush your mouth out when you're done with oh so nutritious late lunch."

Robin looked over to his right to see Raven sitting there, now angrily eating her ice cream at the mention of flushing her mouth.

"That is with the salt water, correct?" Starfire asked, moving from Beast Boy and standing behind Raven, her hands on the back of the chair.

Raven nodded as she mixed her ice cream, making it melty so she could eat it easier.

"So," Starfire thought out loud, "you drink the salt water? That does not sound very wise."

"No," Robin interjected, "she doesn't swallow it. You just kinda swish it around like mouthwash and spit it out. But you're right though, it's not a good idea to drink salt water."

Starfire nodded. "I see." She put her hands on Raven's shoulders. "In that case, I will do it with you."

"Huh?" Raven all but gracefully said, turning around slightly, confused.

"Well it bothers you does it not?"

She nodded.

"Then I will do it with you in support!" Starfire beamed.

"You really don't have to." Raven tried to assure her friend that it wasn't necessary. "It's unpleasant but you don't need to do it."

"It is no big deal to me." Starfire declared, squeezing Raven's shoulders slightly. "If you are having to do something you do not enjoy, I want to be there to help you."

Raven looked at the others for some kind of advice. Cyborg and Robin just shrugged while Beast Boy finished eating his sandwich.

Raven sighed in defeat. "I guess if you really want to you can do it."

"Oh!" Starfire hugged her from behind causing Raven to drop her spoon in shock. "We will be miserable together!"

Cyborg smiled as he started pulling out the stuff for the flush. "Do you want to come see how to do it?"

She eagerly nodded and zoomed over to Cyborg, getting ready to see how to do it.

Robin smiled as he watched a very eager Starfire watch intently as Cyborg showed her how to prepare the water. Looking back at Raven to see her reaction to it all, he paused at her expression.

"What's with the face?" He asked through the bond to not draw attention to her again.

"I dropped my spoon."

"Then pick it up."

"I can't." She looked up at him. "It hurts too much to bend down."

Robin looked at her, knowing the question that was about to follow.

"Can you get it for me?" She looked at him with as much pity as she could, her puffy checks adding to the effect.

"Yeah yeah," he sighed, getting out his chair and bending down to get her spoon.

"Can you wash it off?" She asked when he handed the spoon out to her.

"You are a piece of work lately, you know that right?" He teased, walking to the sink and washing off the spoon after Cyborg filled a cup up with water.

"Hey, I don't want my mouth to get infected. These floors are nasty."

"Yeah, you're right." Robin put her clean spoon in her bowl and sat back down. "But how come Stars the one who gets all the snuggles?"

Raven blinked. "What?"

"Well whenever you sleep, it's been with her lately." He pouted playfully.

"Hey, like you said before, she's comfy."

"And I'm not?"

"Are you seriously upset that I've been snuggling with Star more than you?"

"Hey, all I'm saying is that I wouldn't mind some Raven snuggles too. I'm comfy too, you know."

Raven sighed and rolled her eyes. "Yes, I know. You'll just have to wait."

"Oh, so there's a waiting list now?"

"Hey, I'm comfy too. You'll need to wait your turn."

"And when can I expect that to be?"

"Raven," Cyborg called, "you ready?"

Raven nodded and stood up from her chair, collecting her bowl and spoon. "Till we meet again." She concluded and walked over to the sink.

Robin smiled and shook his head, leaning back in his chair, watching the production he was sure was about to unfold in the kitchen.

Raven walked over to the sink and placed her bowl and spoon in the dishwater, not really wanting to clean it and standing next to Cyborg and Starfire.

"Alrighty," Cyborg handed Raven her syringe and a cup of salt water, "here you go. And for you," he turned back to the counter and picked up another cup of salt water and handed it to an eager Starfire, "a cup of salt water."

"Thank you." Starfire took the cup from him and held it in her hands, waiting for Raven to start.

Raven sighed and filled up her syringe with salt water, positioning it near the bottom right corner of her mouth.

"Can you move?" She asked Cyborg who was standing in front of the sink.

"Oop, my bad." Cyborg took a step to the side so Raven could lean over the sink.

Scooting over, Raven leaned over the sink so no water would go all over the counter and the floor as she emptied the syringe, the salt water cleaning the area where her tooth was removed, removing some of the blood from her earlier hit to the face.

When she finished with the one squirt, Starfire sipped a bit of the water and swished it around her mouth, like mouthwash as she was instructed by Cyborg and spit it out in the sink next to Raven.

"I can see why you dislike that." Starfire said with a scrunch in her face.

Raven nodded and filled up the syringe again, needing to get the same section a few more times before she moved into the next one. "You said you were going to do it so I guess you're stuck."

"Yes, it appears I am." She sighed, taking another sip of the water and spitting it out. "And how many times do you have to do this?"

Cyborg answered for Raven since she had a mouth full of salt water. "Every time she eats."

Raven nodded in thanks and in confirmation.

"Every time?" Starfire repeated.

They both nodded.

"You will not be upset if I only do it this one time will you?"

Raven smiled slightly and shook her head, wiping her mouth before she filled the syringe up again. "Not at all. You don't have to do this if you don't want to." She held up the full syringe and looked at it and mumbled, "I'm the only one who has to do it anyway."

"You are sure I do not have to?" Starfire asked, still unsure if she wanted to help her friend by doing the same thing or just helping by giving moral support.

Raven nodded, moving to the upper part of her mouth.

"Then you will be ok if I eat my lunch?" She asked, fiddling with the cup trying to make her decision even though she really didn't want to do it anymore.

"I'll be fine." Raven assured, filling up the syringe once more.

"Very well." Starfire decided, putting her cup down. "I will eat the leftover glorg but will be at the kitchen island shall you need me." And with that, she rather quickly went over to her food and downed a cup of unsalted water.

Cyborg looked back at Starfire and then to Raven. "It can't be that bad can it?" He asked, chuckling a bit.

Raven answered when she finished her right side. "Think about it. The girl eats all sorts of stuff. This is like the only thing she doesn't like. Do you really need any more proof?"

"Psh, there's no way it's that bad."

Raven raised her eyebrow. "Then try it."

Cyborg held her stare for a moment and caved in. "Alright." Tentatively, he reached over to Star's abandoned cup and turned it so his mouth was on the opposite side of where hers was.

Slowly, he brought the glass to his lips and took a small sip.

Raven watched him as he took his first sip. As he swished it around his mouth he looked at her in a way that said "see, I told you." He spit it out and took a bigger sip, testing to see if it'll really make that much of a difference.

Raven watched as he held it together for a solid three seconds. Then his face contorted and he leaned over the sink to spit the salt water out.

Raven leaned against the side of the sink, watching as he emptied his mouth and turned on the sink, drinking straight from the faucet.

"So," she smirked, "not that bad huh?"

Cyborg looked up to her smug expression, composing himself as he straightened himself out.

Raven challenged his look as he tried to give it right back to her. But ultimately, she won, like always.

"Don't you have to do the other side of your mouth?" He came up with.

"Can I have some more salt?" She asked, filling up her now empty cup with more water.

"Girl," he said, walking to the cabinets, pulling out the salt, "I don't know how you do it."

Raven took the salt and gave it a few shakes in her water, stirring it with the syringe. "Well, it's either this or a really bad infection. And personally, I don't ever want to go under anesthesia again."

"Yeah," Robin agreed, walking over to the two with his plate, "that was scary. Can you scooch over a bit?" He added needing to get to the dishwasher.

Raven moved over a bit so Robin could put his plate in. "How was it scary for you? I was the one going under."

Robin put his plate in the rack and closed the door, standing up and looking at Cyborg.

"Do you want the simplified version or the long one?" Cyborg asked after his and Robin's silent communication.

Raven looked between the two. "I guess the short one."

They both nodded as Cyborg explained in simple terms. "We didn't know how you would react. You got scared there for a bit and we were really worried for you."

"Wait," Raven panicked slightly, "how did you know I was scared?"

Cyborg and Robin looked at each other again.

"Well, you wanted us to be with you." Robin said, carefully choosing his words.

"I did?" She asked, grip tightening in her cup.

"You really don't remember?" Cyborg asked softly.

Raven shook her head slightly, starting to panic more at not remembering anything.

"It wasn't anything bad." Robin assured her, starting to feel her panic. "It seemed like you didn't like how the laughing gas made you feel and you started to get scared."

"Yeah," Cyborg jumped in, "the nurse took you off of it for a bit and then you wanted us to come in."

"And what happened?" She asked quietly.

"We came in and held your hand while you went back under." Cyborg explained.

Raven looked at him in a bit of disbelief. "You, held my hand?"

"Well, yeah." Robin interjected. "There really wasn't anything else we could do, and it seemed to help." It wasn't a total lie. It sis help but they just left out the part about her wanting to hold their hands.

Raven nodded slowly, trying to remember anything from her surgery earlier yesterday but it came up blank. So she took their word and filled her syringe back up, not really wanting to talk about her surgery right then. "Ok."

Sensing that she was starting to get uncomfortable, Robin turned to Cyborg and gestured for them to give her a bit of space for now.

Cyborg nodded in understanding and they went off to the couch, joining Beast Boy on the couch as he played a video game.

Thankful for the bit of time she now has to herself, Raven finished flushing her mouth out in peace. That was until Starfire came up behind her.

"Raven, are you finished?"

Raven closed her eyes and took a breath in, letting it out slowly as she nodded and turned around.

"May I give you a hug?"

"Sure." Raven sighed, already knowing by now that she would hug her regardless.

Starfire smiled and moved closer to Raven, pulling her into a light but firm hug.

Raven halfheartedly gave her one back and waited until Starfire would pull back.

But she didn't.

Raven sighed and mumbled, "I'm going to take a nap."

Starfire loosened her hold but not quite letting her friend go. "Will you be sleeping on the couch?"

Raven took one look over to the couch and immediately made up her mind. "No, it's too chaotic. I want to be on my own for a bit. And all my stuff is in my room."

Starfire nodded in agreement with her decision, now letting her go. "You will be fine on your own?"

Raven nodded, grabbing some fresh gauze for her mouth.

"I hope you have a pleasant sleep. You will let us know if you need us?"

Raven nodded in assurance and rinsed out her cup, filling it with water and walked to her room.

I like to think that the Titans like to get Raven cute things like stuffed animals and such because they like to get a reaction out of her. But in reality, she cherishes each and every one because they thought about her when they bought it. They serve as reminders that they love her 3

Anyway, as always, let me know what you think. Do you like it? Do you not like it? What's your favorite part so far? Anything you didn't like? Let me know!
