DM Fun With Auntie Jillian Chapter 1

It was nearly the end of the summer term before school was out for the summer vacations. Margo, Edith, Agnes and their honorary cousin Jessica were in the end of term school play of the Little Mermaid. Margo was playing the main part of Ariel and sang a beautiful song.

''Maybe he's right

Maybe there is something the matter with me

I just don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad

Look at this stuff Isn't it neat?

Wouldn't you think my collection's complete?

Wouldn't you think I'm the girl

The girl

who has everything?

Look at this trove Treasures untold

How many wonders can one cavern hold?

Looking around here you'd think Sure, she's got everything I've got gadgets and gizmos a-plenty

I've got whozits and whatzits galore

You want thingamabobs?

I've got twenty! But who cares? No big deal

I want more I wanna be where the people are I wanna see, wanna see 'em dancin' Walking around on those, what do you call 'em?

Oh, feet Flippin' your fins, you don't get too far Legs are required for jumping, dancing Strolling along down the, what's that word again?

Street Up where they walk, up where they run Up where they stay all day in the sun Wanderin' free, wish I could be Part of that world

What would I give if I could live out of these waters?

What would I pay to spend a day warm on the sand?

Bet'cha on land they understand

Bet they don't reprimand their daughters Bright young women, sick of swimmin' Ready to stand

And ready to know what the people know Ask 'em my questions and get some answers

What's a fire and why does it, what's the word?

Burn?

When's it my turn?

Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above? Out of the sea Wish I could be Part of that world''.

Maybe he's right

Maybe there is something the matter with me

I just don't see how a world that makes such wonderful things could be bad Look at this stuff''.

Afterwards, Jillian gathered her own daughter, Jessica and Gru and Lucy's three daughters, Margo, Edith and Agnes to talk about all the fun things they would do together over the summer until the girls went back to school in the autumn term. "Auntie Jillian, we've been having lots of fun with our mom, dad, and uncle. So, we were wondering if we could hang around with you and Jessica now that you're part of our family" said Margo. "Sure thing, Margo, I'd be glad to do that for y'all" laughed Jillian, loudly and crazily, "AH-HA-HA-HAAA!". "We love you, Auntie Jillian!" said Edith. "We're proud to have a new auntie" said Agnes, happily. "Yeah, Mom, and I like being a cousin to them" added Jessica.

''We're gonna have some great times together, the five of us!'' said Jillian. ''Mom, what have you got planned for us to do together over the summer?'' Jessica asked. "We'll just have to find out tomorrow, darling" said Jillian. The next day after the girls had broken up from school, Jillian and Jessica arrived at Gru's house. Gru was in the living room watching his favourite TV program and was about to eat a sandwich. DING DONG! went the sound of the doorbell. Gru paused in his tracks with his mouth opened wide as he held his sandwich close to it. "Oh, Gru! It's Jillian!" called a familiar voice from outside.

Gru didn't like the sound of that and groaned loudly. "Huh! I don't think so!" he huffed, refusing to answer the door. Lucy went to answer the door instead. ''Oh hello Jillian'' she said, cheerfully. "Thank you, Lucy!" said Jillian, walking inside with Jessica and calling out "Where are my beautiful nieces?". "Hi, Auntie Jillian!" called Margo, Edith and Agnes running up to her and jumping up to hug their honorary auntie. ''Hi cousins!'' said Jessica. "Hi, Jessica!" replied the Gru sisters. "So, you girls ready to go?" asked Jillian. "No, no, no, no!" cried Gru. "YEAH! Woo-hoo!" whooped the Gru sisters. "So, Jessica, you wanna tell your cousins the fun days out I've planned for y'all over the school vacations?" said Jillian. "Sure, Mom'' said Jessica.

So she told Margo, Edith and Agnes what her mom had planned for them all. They were thrilled. "We'll go swimming first one day, then on another day, we go to the park at the end of this week, go bird watching and watch a movie at the cinemas next week, see animals at a farm, play at the beach the week after next, and watch the stars come out at sunset". Gru just growled angrily, but no one paid any attention. "OK, girls, be good out there. And stay with Jillian while you're out there" said Lucy. "OK, Mom!" said her three daughters. Lucy knelt down. "OK, but come over here for sec" she said. ''What is it Mom?'' Margo asked. "Momma wants a hug" said Lucy.

''Bye Mom, love you see you later!'' said Edith as she and her sisters gave Lucy a quick hug who kissed them in return and said goodbye. ''Have fun, all of you!'' said Lucy. Margo, Edith, Agnes and Jessica climbed into Jillian's car and they set off. Gru watched in both horror and anger at the same time. "OOOOOAAAAAARGGHHHH!" he grunted, feeling enraged. "What's wrong? Is somethin' wrong?" asked Lucy. "I can't believe that our girls are hanging out with one of our neighbours! She's not even related to us! I know Jillian too well!" Gru growled. ''Chillax, Gru. Jillian'll look after the girls. They just want to have fun with her and Jessica this time. We've been having lots of fun with the girls" said Lucy calmly. "I don't even know why she has to join our family!" grumbled Gru.

"She's an honorary auntie" said Lucy. "Honorary what?!" Gru hollered. Lucy explained that honorary aunties were given that title as an honourrather than being an aunt by blood or legal relationship to a person.
