It was a quiet summer day in Angel Grove. Birds chirped in the trees as two teens were sparing in the park. The warm breeze blew as the two friends laughed when they finished. "Another tie. Why does it always end in a tie between us?" Jason Lee Scott asked checking his breath and running his hand over his face and through his hair. His best friend and teammate Thomas "Tommy" Oliver shrugged laughing. He then took a drink from his water bottle and sat down by a tree. Jason did the same and looked out to the lake.

"I don't know man," Tommy said taking another sip and closed his eyes getting lost in thought about how much his life changed over the past year. A year they have been Power rangers. Tommy thought back to how much crap he had to go through to get to this point in his life. Even though things were going better now but…

"Tommy?" Jason cut him out of his thoughts. Tommy could feel his eyes on him as he stared at his communicator on his wrist.

"Yeah?" Tommy asked looking at the lake now. "I'm fine, just thinking," Jason sighed and nodded.

"It's been a year. Your still good," Jason reminded him. Tommy nodded but he still felt like he didn't deserve this. He was evil and tried to kill his friends. All because he couldn't fight back. Why didn't he fight back? He should have fought back. "Tommy?" Jason asked when Tommy stood up and walked away.

"I…I'll be right back," he said as he walked away. Jason sighed and looked at Tommy's bag.

Tommy let out a breath as he sat down by a tree and ran his hand through his black hair. "Way to go, Tom, you're pushing your friends away again," Tommy muttered to himself. He then closed his eyes when he felt the warm breeze hit his face. "I should go back," Tommy said to himself as he opened his eyes. Tommy then looked behind him and stood up fast when he saw putties run up to him. "Great," Tommy muttered before he started to push them back. Tommy tried to push them back but there were too many of them. After a few minutes of fighting, they were gone. However, before Tommy could call Jason he blacked out after something hit him.

Tommy woke with a start and pain in his arm. "Ow," he muttered as he looked down at his arm. "Ow," he said again before he cleared his throat. "Jase!" Tommy called with pain in his voice. He closed his eyes when he heard someone run up to him.

"Tommy!" it was Jason's voice. "Oh man," Jason said looking around him. "What…what happened?" Jason asked helping Tommy to stand up. Tommy let out a calming breath and nodded slowly.

"Putties. I fought them back before they could get me but it didn't work all the way. I think I broke my arm," Tommy told his best friend. Jason nodded and let out a breath.

"We need to get you to a hospital. Come on," Jason told Tommy as he led Tommy back to the tree that they were sitting under. Tommy looked at him and laughed.

"Um..." Tommy said holding onto his arm.

"What's wrong?" Jason asked picking up his bag and Tommy's. Tommy however didn't answer. Jason sighed and soon the two walked out of the park.
