Well, hi! This is my first fanfiction, and I hope you like it, I plan to keep writing constantly, but it may take some time due to classes starting soon – wish me luck! I inspired my story in: Time in Camelot; My magical wish; and last but not least, A heart of gold. I do advise you to read them. Also, I appreciate your reviews and comments. Once again, enjoy!

Flashback

I was there with my family. It was a day like any other, except for one small detail. "After all," they said, "is not everyday you turn 15." They were hugging me very tightly and I returned one for us three to show my affection.

"Time sure flies," I replied while I saw at the delicious food that stood in front of me. As every year, my mom would prepare my favorite food the day of my birthday. Though it may seem as something common, it was not really easy for us to afford something really fancy; but being here with my family was enough for me.

"Happy Birthday knucklehead," said me brother as he approached me and started messing with my hair. Normally, I would have glared at him, but I let this one pass. I did; however, rearranged my hair afterwards.

"Have you forgotten, Merlin, that I am your older sister and you, my little brother?" I replied to him with a sly tone. "Only for a year." Merlin answered with a goofy smile on his face.

"A year and three months actually. And let me remind you that it is just enough." He groaned as I defended my comment with a big grin. My mom looked at us proudly, with that motherly expression that lights up even the saddest moments. We were having so much fun; until— something hit me as hard as a speeding truck would hit a tiny girl like me. An excruciating headache started rising out of nowhere and I closed my eyes hoping that would ease the pain. I could see concern in both my mother's and brother's face who then turned to look at each other .

"Elle, are you alright?" asked my mother worriedly. I nodded slowly claiming that it was only a little headache and that I would soon feel better – or so I thought. But it didn't; instead it became worse. Suddenly my stomach turned, I went outside for some fresh air as quickly as my legs would allow me. My family ran after me to see what had happened. "Estelle!" I barely heard the calls of my brother as my counciousness slowly left me.

3rd POV

Merlin quickly rushed towards Estelle while she collapsed. He caught her before her head crashed to the ground. It would have been impossible for his to carry her sister, so he instead decided to slowly pull her towards the house. He cautiously avoided her to fall down. "This would have been easier if she wasn't this heavy," groaned Merlin as he didn't realize he had just said his thoughts at loud. Weakly and softly Estelle reproached "This would have been a lot easier if you didn't have sticks as arms."

Without realizing Merlin dropped his sister who, with a loud THUD fell to the ground.

"Ow! Merlin what was that for?!" shouted his sister with clear irritation in her voice.

"Your awake!" Merlin almost screamed in her ear out of excitement.

"Keep it down would you?!" Estelle covered the ear Merlin was next to while she growled at him. He scoffed when he heard what she had just said "Look who's talking" he thought to himself and later on to her sister. 'Shut it' she thought to him. "My head is still throbbing." Merlin aided Elle to stand up as they walked towards their mom.

Estelle's POV

After eating my meal; wich by the way was exquisite, I drank some medicine my mom gave me to calm my headaches. I then excused myself to my bedroom to rest. Merlin wanted to follow, but Huinith stopped him saying I needed to rest so he left.

I hated lying to them, but what had just happened was unexplainable. I remember a life I had lived before. A life I lived that is thousands of years ahead of this time. At the 21st century, but that ended in tragedy. Silent tears ran through my cheeks as I remember the crash were I passed away. I wonder what it is of my family and my friends. If they are or were alright. I wonder if I went back in time, or if time continues at the big city. I sighed tired of all this thinking and went back to my mother, she reminds me so much of Imogen (my mother of my previous life), so smile when I see her. Out of nowhere I hugged her.

Though life was harder I still feel so loved. No matter if this was not the life Alessandra lived before, this was Estelle's and I was so happy I was able to enjoy and remember both my lives. But most importantly, I was in a land were I knew the destiny and what was meant to happen. As Alessandra, this was my favorite Tv series and I had watched it about hundreds of times, without exaggerating. And I was determined of protecting my brother, his destiny, and the future of a royal prat, who would one day become Camelot's greatest king.

Present

Flashbacks of what happened approximately nearly five years ago came back to my mind. As I remembered the promise I was willing to keep. Me and Merlin headed towards a new and unknown adventure. we were headed to Camelot; and this my friends it's when our journey truly began.

So the prologue is finished. I'm sorry if it seems really short, but I promise next ones will be larger! Starting next will be the first season of Merlin. Feel free to commentaway any suggestions or opinions you might have.

Stay safe, and take care!
