A/N: I was reading a book on the plane, one that gave writing advice. One piece of advice I've found almost all authors give in common is this: write. And this particular book said to write every day, even for just five minutes if you can. Practice it daily. Since I was on vacation, I decided to try it—to see if I could make something very short that was worth reading, every day. I didn't have internet to post them, so I'm doing that now. I'll do one a day till they run out-I think there are nine of them?

Oreius looked down, eyeing the dagger stuck in the chink of his armour. There was a small amount of blood reddening the tip. It wasn't enough to drip down the armour, which meant this would not take long to clean. He looked back up, into the eyes of the horrified younger Queen. "Perfect aim, your Majesty, if you substituted me for the target. Now take it out and try again."
