Dendy walked into her and her husband's bedroom to see said husband of seven months, K.O in the distance looking in the a incubation tank she made.

As she walked towards him, he turned back. "Oh hey, hun." He greeted with a beam. "It looks like our eggs are doing great."

She smiled back. Making her way to the tank, she looked inside, too see the eggs she months ago.

Just then, K.O place a hand on one of them and gently rubbed it, like a someone petting a dog.

"Say, is it true that they'll hatch any day now?"

"Why yes." She replied with a beam to her brown-eyed husband. "As I checked last night I have found that our clutch are at the final stage of their development."

K.O looked back at their tiny group of eggs. "Wow." He said. "Can't wait until they hatch and meet everyone. They're going to be beautiful."

While she was interested on how the off spring would turned out, she knew there was a chance that one of them wouldn't make it through the hatching process. However, the Kappa did had a bit of hope that their eggs do.

Dendy looked at her partner's excited bright face. She found it fascinating that K.O out of the both of them, had the maternal instincts kick in immediately after she laid them. Perhaps, it was because he spent most of the time with his mother and her students or maybe most of the testosterone went to his alter-ego, T.K.O? Something she might have to look into later. Regardless, it became easier for her adapt into her role as a parent, seeing how male Kappas typically watch over their eggs most of the during the incubation process.

Just then, some cracking noise started to sprang up. The two look in the incubation box to see one of the eggs having a bit moving around.

"Look? It's staring K.O." She told him with joy.

"What?! Oh my gosh."

In the tank, one of the eggs shook a bit and small bit of the shell begin go up and down for a bit until it popped off. In its place a little hole was visible.

"Say, why isn't the other seem to be shaking as much?"

"Hm? Perhaps, their muscles is not developed as much as we hoped?"

"What?!" Her partner uttered, looking at her with widen eyes. "But they got to get out. How would they eat or drink? Maybe we could help?"

"We can not, K.O? I 'm afraid this is something that our child have to do on their own."

K.O gain sadden look as he went back to at the eggs.

She stayed at her husband's side, until a couple hours later, after she got a towel the first of their children broke free. The Kappa mother then dried her newborn with the towel before she picked them up.

There she saw the gender of the new born.

"Is our child alright?"

She looked over to K.O who was looking her with a concern face.

"Yes. Our child requires cleaning and some rest. I would have to feed her her later."

"Okay. Wait we have a girl?"

"Of course."

"What are we going to name her?"

"I researched the best name for girls and found the name, Nora to be a fitting name."

"That's a beautiful name. Her name is, Nora."

Dendy gave a smile.

"Hi Nora, welcome to this world I'm your daddy, K.O" He talked the baby though Dendy was sure that their off spring was asleep now. "and the one that's holding you is your mommy. We're happy that you're here and well. Say, maybe your sibling would join you soon? Well, I got to check up on them.

K.O slid his finger on Nora's cheek before he shifted back to looking at their other baby, Dendy was doubtful that her husband's wishes would be granted, seeing how their second child haven't broken half way through her egg shell. However, she tend to her first born.

She cleaned the last bit of her little girl, and examined her. The baby seemed to be okay, right weight and no wounds like some Kappalings would get when they hatch. The new mother then gently placed her in the crib.

There she place a figure on her first child's cheek and rubbed like how K.O did for her, for a bit. Gaining a smile as Dendy kept an eye on her child until he baby girl cried. She took Nora out and fed her.

As she was doing that, the Kappa mother looked over to mate who was still looking at their second child except this time he wore a bit more of worried expression.

She looked back the first hatchling. Maybe she could provide some assistance? After her baby was filled and burped her, Dendy put a sleeping Nora in her crib. She went took took one of her many purified bottles of water and an empty eye-dropper out of the closet.

Opening the bottle she took the eye dropper and put in the the bottle, she sucked it up.

Now filled, Dendy walked where to her husband sat, still looking at the struggling hatchling. Shifting her attention to her second child, she took the dropper and poured droplets of water on the edge of a small hole the little one crated.

"Huh?" Her husband.

She did looked over to see K.O was giving a baffled look.

"I 'm simply aiding in the hatching of child." She replied putting some water droplets to the spot.

"But, I thought-?"

"While we can't break the shell off, we can help our child in not get seriously injured."

"What?"

"Egg shells harden as soon they dry up. This will keep the egg moist and making it easier to break free."

"Oh, okay."

When completed her task, she said "That should be enough."

"Thanks Dendy. Boy you're sure becoming a a great mother."

"Thank you, my mate.."

"Now, I must go make us some food."

"Oh, okay. I 'll watch over our kids."

It shouldn't take that long to make two bowl of salad? And that she did. The Kappa mother came back sooner then she thought, but just as she was about to enter she heard K.O talking.

"Come on my baby, we know you can do this. Your mommy, me, your other daddy, and Nora, everyone else believes in you. We all can't what to see your beautiful face."

As much as she wanted to believe that, Dendy knew better then any one that there was a high chance of loosing their second child due to exhaustion and blood loss if the egg shells managed to make a deep cut on her hand or other parts of her body. She gained a sadden face.

"Say, maybe when your mommy comes back, she'll allow me to name you Hope?"

Having to shake off her depressed expression, The adult Kappa went in.

"Oh, hi Honey." Her husband turned and greeted her.

"Greetings, My mate."

Soon as she gave K.O one of the bowls, despite him with a sadden face and she sat down with hers in her hands, K.O said "Say, could I named our second kid, Hope?"

"I highly advise not."

"Huh, but why?"

"K.O, our second is running out of strength. She could die from the exhaustion."

"B-but, what about having two kids like we planed?"

"Our child is trying their best, but it might be nothing we could do."

"Well, I 'm not giving up on Hope."

She looked down before looking at their second child still wiggling though, appears to be not as much as they used to.

Dendy sighed. Wishing that K.O will see her side, but apart of her didn't want to their child to perish, she gotten up and went to check on their first child.

Hours went by before it became almost midnight.

She looked over to her partner, after putting their now stomach filled baby back into the crib. The mother saw K.O still keeping his eyes glued to to box.

As fascinating and admiring her husband's determination was, she knew that he too had his limits. Much like her they where only two being.

K.O let a sigh that sounded tired before he spoken up "Oh no, there's blood!"

Dendy sighed knowing that their child a body part. She head over to check on her two family members.

Sure enough, with a hole now almost half of there was blood dripping from the ends.

"Dendy?" K.O uttered sounding surprised.

She went back and gotten the bottle of water and the dropper and dropped some drops close to where the head was.

"I 'm sorry K.O. To you and our child. I didn't want you to go into a depress state if we should loose our seconded child."

"It's alright, honey." He said, giving a tired sigh. "I just wished there was more we could do more for them."

As do she.

Just then, she a crackling sound followed by unidentified things shooting past.

"Ow." K.O spoke.

She looked to see partner having his hand on the side of his head, close to his eye.

However, all of the sudden, the were the sounds of energy waves being released the popped up.

She turned. Her eyes widen at the sight of their baby girl out of the egg, letting out raspy cry.

"Oh my gosh, Hope have a turbo state?" K.O exclaimed in a disbelief toned.

Their child had a purple energy aura around her and long spiky hair that made look her look more like T.K.O instead of K.O.

She had to admit their new born child unlocking their Turbonic state at such a young age; faster then their dad was something she did not expect. How did Hope do that? Dendy suspected that T.K.O had hand in doing that, he did help a little in the creation of their children. Will Nora be able to do it too? That was something to wounder about. She going have to check that out later.

The adult watched K.O picked up their child, however as he did said child's aura disappeared and her hair shorten to something more resembling hers.

"Thanks Hope. Boy, we sure were worried that you wouldn't come out. Me and mommy are proud of you."

Just then the Kappa mother noticed blood where her baby's arm moved.

"Excuse me, K.O." She spoke up.

"Huh?"

"I would like to treat Hope's wound."

"Oh. Sorry Dendy, guess I was so happy that Hope's out that i forgot about her hand."

Her husband handed her their child to her.

"Would you require me to get you band for your cut?"

"What cut?" K.O asked before felling around his face.

His hand soon fell on the same spot that he had his hand on before.

As he took his hand off that area looked at it, his face went to a shock expression before shifting to an insecure one.

"Oh, uh sure."

The Adult Kappa walked out of the room with Hope in her arms, she went and patched her up, while K.O said that he'll watch over Nora.

When she gotten the bandages and cleaned up second daughter's wound, making a tiny band-aid, the mother wrapped it on the injured hand. Examining Hope, Dendy found that seem to okay besides the hand, however she was correct that her seconds has a little less developed muscles then other Kappa. Though could help Hope later on. Right after Dendy finished she gave an and honest smile and said. "Thank you Hope."

She then took her hatchling and some bandages and head back to K.O and her other child.

Her husband kept an eye on Nora, having his chair near the crib, but this time his face was a happy one.

Getting a chair, she joined him, handing him the bandages.

There she decided to feed Hope as her partner took care of his wound.

Siting with her husband, feeding their daughter, while their other sleeps perfectly in her crib, Dendy beamed more, enjoying the moment with her family.

It turns out that K.O was right in naming their daughter, Hope. Now they have said child and her sister fine, he soak the tranquil scene with her husband.
