Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story. This one about DC. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Aquaman DC and a few others do.

There was no shortage of outcasts from the Seven Kingdoms. Dozens of people from Atlantis, Xebel, and such had dragged themselves through the ocean towards since HER territory.

Who, might one ask, would dare harbor so many dozens of outcasts or rebels or such? This would be Atlanna, the former queen of Atlantis and mother of both Orm, also known as Ocean Master… And Arthur Curry, also known as Aquaman and the current king of Atlantis.

"By the seven seas, where are we?" One of these rebels asked as he slowly pulled himself to his feet. "Hmm…" He started to look around once more.

He blinked as he and a wave of new arrivals once more dragged themselves up the cliff with interest. This makeshift kingdom belonged to only one woman, and every person who dragged themselves to this port knew it.

"Where is the lady of the riptide?" One of the new arrivals questioned while they started to cling to the cliffside.

"Above, don't bother her." The leader of the group stated as he hummed.

This was very unique at the time. Nobody knew about who she was, but everyone knew she was the unchallenged ruler of the area. One did NOT simply challenge the woman who ruled over dozens of rebels, outcasts and the like.

"This place looks like a dump…" One of them stated which earned an elbow to the ribs.

"Be silent or she will have your tongue." The leader said as they continued the climb. "I will not live in Xebel under that monster." He stated while he slowly pulled himself to an alcove.

They paused and looked up in front of them, there was already people waiting. Many countless Atlanteans and Xebellians among others, this place was their home at the end of the day and they were soldiers for a queen.

"Leave, we're throw you to the sharks if you don't." One of the warriors said as he leveled a sword towards the leader.

He cracked his fingers once more and stepped in the front of the group of outcasts.

"Why do you believe we are here to capture this place?" He asked as he crossed his arms over damaged armor. "Look at the condition of our weapons, our armor, our people. What military commander do you think would send us at the moment?" He questioned while he cracked his fingers.

The leader of the warriors blinked and then turned to the group of outcasts who were busily gathering behind his boss. He knew for a fact that things would be different at the moment.

"My name is Sigrur, former warrior of Xebel." He stated as he started to walk forward at the moment.

He was once more curious once more, these rebels were already a giant group on their own, if they had this much firepower? Then perhaps the lady of the riptide was someone that had her own agenda… However? Sigrur didn't really care, he had come here because this place was a haven for dozens of rebels and outcasts themselves. He knew more than anything that if he came home, he knew their former 'King' wasn't someone worth following when he thought about it.

"Come with us then." Sigrur heard as he sighed and slowly nodded and then nodded before their group slowly followed after him.

Neither said anything, curious about what had happened at the moment. Sigrur shook his head as he rubbed at his temples, this was NOT the place to be questioning things at the end of the day. They were simply settlers to someone who held far more power. It made them cautious, knowing if she wanted their heads? They'd be taken without a moment's notice. Sigrur was far more cautious around these people at the moment.

"Is this really the land of the riptide?" Sigrur questioned while he looked over his shoulder at his friends.

"Yes." Sigrur heard as he nodded once more at the time before they began to walk up the hill while more guards slowly moved around.

"And what do you come from?" Sigrur questioned to himself while he shook his head once more. "Never mind, it does not matter. I don't really care; we will be safe here. She keeps everyone safe sooner or later." Sigrur stated to himself as he hummed.
