I DO NOT OWN AMERICAN HORROR STORY. ALL RIGHTS BELONG TO RYAN MURPHY AND BRAD FALCHUK. I ALSO DO NOT OWN SEVENTEEN. THE RIGHTS BELONG TO LAURENCE O'KEEFE AND KEVIN MURPHY. THIS IS AN AR STORY WHERE TATE AND VIOLET ARE BOTH ALIVE IN 1994. TATE IS SEEING DR. HARMON BEFORE THE WESTFIELD SHOOTINGS AND HAS BEEN SECRETLY DATING HIS DAUGHTER VIOLET. THIS IS MY FIRST EVER SONGFIC SO BE NICE.

Los Angeles, California. Spring, 1994.

Tate Langdon stood in front of Violet Harmon as she sobbed on the bed. She had been seeing him on the down low for the better part of 2 years since she and her parents had moved to LA and she figured that she knew him like the back of her hand. However, now she wasn't so sure.

Tate had taken her into his room and shown her the guns and ammunition that he had purchased from local gun shows and the K-Mart down town. He had confessed that in a few days time, he would put an end to his suffering at the hands of the bullies at Westfield High School and repay them in kind for the 4 years of Hell he had gone through. Tate was hoping that Violet would understand, but she was inconsolable at the thought of her Tate shooting up the school.

"Please Violet...they're high school assholes." Tate pleaded as he grasped her hands in his. "They don't deserve your sympathy."

"I hate them too Tate...but there has to be another way." Violet pleaded as she locked eyes with her one true love.

"This is the way Violet." Tate argued. "They have been making us suffer for too long and now they're going to pay for it in freaking spades!"

"You are talking about killing kids, like us!" She pointed out.

"They are nothing like us, we are superior to those fuckers!" He snarled. "Every damn day they bully us because we're different, because our tastes are different and I can't get any peace at home because my dad bailed out and my mom makes me live up to her impassible standards!" Violet knew how Tate hated how his mother put him on a pedestal that he couldn't climb down from, but she wouldn't let him use it as an excuse this time.

"News flash Tate, you aren't the only one with a dysfunctional family!" She snapped. "My mom got screwed up after her miscarriage, my dad was shacking up with a college girl and I had to move across the country just so they could try to fix their piss poor excuse of a marriage; remember that?"

"Of course...I remember everything you tell me." Tate insisted. Ever since she had come to California, Violet Harmon had been the one bright spot in Tate's life. She was what gave him motivation to get through school day in and day out. Ever since the school had recommended that his mother take him to see a therapist who turned out to be Violet's father: Dr. Ben Harmon, she had been the only one to understand him at all.

"Please Tate…are those assholes really worth throwing away your whole life?" Violet asked as her true love backed away.

"I'm sorry Violet…but I'm going to make that school a decent place for people who are decent." Tate vowed.

"When is it going to end?" She sobbed.

"When every piece of shit at Westfield is dead!" He roared as she pushed him away.

(Violet)

Fine, we're damaged, really damaged, But that does not make us wise

We're not special, we're not different, We don't choose who lives or dies
Let's be normal, see bad movies, sneak a joint and watch tv
We'll bake brownies or go bowling, don't you want a life with me?

Violet begged for Tate to listen as he kept his back to her. She couldn't lose him forever.

(Violet)

Can we be seventeen, That's all I want to do
If you could let me in, I could be good with you…

Tate slowly turned to Violet as his eyes were filled with tears.

(Violet)
People hurt us…

(Tate)
Or they vanish…

(Violet)
And you're right that really blows, But we let go…

(Tate)

Take a deep breath…

(Violet)

Then go buy some bitchin' clothes, We'll go camping,

(Tate)

Play some pinball…

(Violet)

And we'll eat burgers and fries

(Violet)
Maybe prom night

(Tate)

Maybe dancing

(Violet)
Don't stop looking in my eyes

(Tate)

Your eyes…"

Tate took Violet in his arms as the star crossed teenagers held each other and forgot about the world outside.

(Both

Can't we be seventeen, Is that so hard to do?
If you could let me in, I could be good with you.
Let us be seventeen, If we still got the right!

(Violet)
So what's it gonna be? I wanna be with you

(Tate)
I wanna be with you

(Both)

Tonight!

Violet and Tate kissed passionately as they looked into each other's eyes, knowing that they could survive anything as long as they had each other.

(Violet)
Yeah we're damaged,

(Tate)
Badly damaged

(Both)
But your love's too good to lose

(Violet)
Hold me tighter

(Tate)
Even closer

(Violet)
I'll stay if I'm what you choose

(Tate)
Can we be seventeen?

(Violet)
If I am what you choose

(Tate)
If we still have the right…

(Violet)
Because you're the one I choose

(Tate)
You're the one I choose…

Tate went over to his stockpile of guns and ammo and threw them aside; abandoning his plan of mass murder. it wasn't worth losing the only person he loved.

"Violet…i'm so sorry…" he wailed as she kissed him deeply.

"I know…i'll never leave you Tate." she vowed.

(Both)
You're the one I choose.

IF ONLY TATE AND VIOLET COULD HAVE BEEN TOGETHER WITHOUT THE EVIL OF MURDER HOUSE. REVIEWS NEEDED AND APPRECIATED.
