(AN: This is set after the battle of the Dark Forest, and after Bramblestar's Storm. I haven't read The Vision Of Shadows or The Broken Code yet so my writing will be totally uninfluenced by the actual is my own version of events after Bramblestar's Storm. Also, the POV's are centered around random cats, mostly the new kits.

PS. Not all chapters are going to be this short)

Book One: After The Bramble's Storm

Author: Kunanyian

Prologue

Firestar padded through the leafy undergrowth, sniffing the air for prey. Starclan had no shortage of prey, that was for sure, but fresh-kill was always welcome, plus, he had felt the need to get away from all the new cats and be with himself. The ferns either side of him sprouted with new growth, proving the endless greanleaf in the star bound land. Firestar breathed in, enjoying the slight, cool breeze that wafted through the trees. He wondered what was happening in his clan now, whether they were suffering or at peace for once. Shrugging the thought away, he set off into the undergrowth for some exploring.

After a while, he entered a clearing, in it, the former Thunderclan leader saw a pool. When he saw the pools reflection what he saw was his former home at the Fourtrees, when he had had the six most peaceful moons in his life, then the scene changed to the new Thunderclan camp next to the lake.

Bramblestar was sitting in a patch of sun, talking with Sandstorm and Graystripe, someother cats were also sharing tongues; Cloudtail and Brightheart, Lionblaze and Cinderheart just outside the nursery with three kits clambering over them.

A great sense of longing filled Firestar as he returned his gaze to his mate, Sandstorm.

As he turned to look away, a voice murmured into his ears:

After the Bramble's Storm,

Peace, will stay until the Dawn,

Stunned, Firestar stood there, not knowing what to do, then, with a flurry of paws, he dived into the foliage, running as fast as he could from the reflecting pool. He stopped when he reached the edge of the trees, trying to catching his breath. Calming himself down, he walked slowly into the trees, scenting a mouse in the air. Crouching and drawing himself forward slowly with cautious paws, he pounced on the unsuspecting creature, breaking it's neck with a small bite. Triumphant, Firestar raised his head and stared into the sky.

He had no more worries, for Thunderclan was safe for now.
