For the rest of the day, nothing eventful has happened.

Hiro did remember the note he left about sending his encounter in the lab with Meela. Thankfully, he was able to retain the memory of his meeting at the lab. So, he texted the message to the team's group chat a summary about the details of his encounter: the woman's name, her plans, and what he has learned about vampires, and what to do.

Now for a good few hours, they have not replied, leading Hiro to believe that they were still resting up and recovering from the attack last night. So, he spends the rest of today trying to distract himself by looking up information about vampires to help him and his team.

Or rather, he tried to…

Firstly, it is the fact that Honey has a point: there are so many versions of vampires that it is difficult to find a common weakness.

The second, and arguably the main reason, is that the revelation of what happened to Karmi and her family still hung in the back of his mind. He wanted to find her. But without Baymax, he cannot find a way to scan for her biosignatures. So, for now, he's on his own.

Hiro groaned as he shook his head. Why is he growing so concerned over Karmi? She had been a big bully to him since Professor Granville first introduced them to one another. She calls him names, she insults him, yet he remembered the very few times whenever they weren't arguing. Most of them happened yesterday, but it felt...peaceful. Maybe…

Shaking his head, Hiro pushes these thoughts out of his mind and continues trying to distract himself again, this time by drawing up plans to upgrade his suits to accommodate the threat.

Another hour or so later, Hiro's phone buzzed, and Hiro picked it up to see some texts from Gogo, Wasabi, and Fred.

Gogo: Alright! Maybe we might have a chance to kick their asses.

Wasabi: Seriously? Great! Although, I still don't understand what she has done.

Fred: Oooh! She must've made that compulsive stuff on you!

Gogo: Compulsive stuff?

Fred: Yeah! A way of mind-controlling people!

Wasabi: So they can do that too?

Fred: Duh. Vampires have been doing that… forever.

Hiro smiled as he texted back,

Hiro: Yeah. When you all are available, would you mind having a video chat or something later tonight? Wait, where's Honey Lemon?

After a while,

Fred: Heck yeah! This is getting interesting!

Wasabi: Now you've got my attention. Count me in!

Hiro chuckled again at Fred's childish yet enthusiastic attitude about this. It is very refreshing. Eventually, Gogo also replied,

Gogo: Alright. I hope this gets us somewhere. BTW, Honey's resting right now. She's still recovering from last night. Poor girl…

Hiro nodded in understanding before turning his attention back to the computer.

Before long, the sun begins to set in the sky, while the clouds start to gather. It is said that there's gonna be a big storm tonight. So for everyone else, they are indoors to prevent getting themselves wet. By the time night has fallen, with the sounds of thunder in the distance, everyone is back inside, preparing for the next day.

For one group, however, this is only just the beginning.

Resting in her new room, Meela was lying on her bed, staring up at the ceiling. She is still waiting for the transformation of her new daughter, Karmi, to be complete. It was no trouble destroying her parents trying to get inside. However, she kept one of them alive...for her first meal…

Meela turned her head to the window, seeing the storm coming. Then, wanting to see how her new subjects are doing, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes, focusing her will on her minions.

There are four of them, not including the sisters and Karmi. All in various parts of the city. Meela then focused her mind on one of her newly created pawns, and she could now see what was happening.

In one abandoned northwest of the city, a seventeen-year-old girl was slowly getting up. First sitting up, then climbing to her feet. She was well-built, with long brown hair and pale skin with freckles on her cheeks.

At first, the girl moved her head around with mild confusion before something set in her mind.

Food…

The girl walked towards a window with broken glass, eyeing the neighborhood of Vista Del Mar. She took in a deep breath as she searched for a scent for anything to eat.

Luckily for her, she found an enticing scent in a house not far away. The girl smiled before jumping from the window and landing on the wall effortlessly, scaling it like a spider. Eventually, she reached the house and scaled the wall towards an open window. Peering inside, she saw a boy, no older than fifteen, sleeping soundly.

Drain. Feed…

The girl, with little effort, tore open the window screen, blocking her way. The sound made the boy snort, and before long, he opened his eyes, turning his head to look at the window. He blinked as he saw the torn screen. Then, growing confused, he slowly got up and walked towards the window. His heart began to beat as he looked outside, searching for whatever it was that caused the damage.

As he felt the wind brushing against him, he didn't hear the girl's boots slowly walking towards him from behind.

Drain him! Kill him!

The girl got close to the left side of his face, teeth slowly growing sharp as she lets out a small growl. By the time the boy felt that something's behind him, it was too late.

The girl covered his mouth with her hand and bit him roughly on the neck before pulling him away from the window and into the darkness of the room. No one could see the boy's struggling form as the girl pushed him down onto the floor, obscuring them from any potential witnesses…

Being satisfied with the conversion of that one, Meela decides to focus on another one of her recently converted subjects.

Inside a closed bar, a woman was thrown towards the wall by a slightly younger man. The woman had darker skin, long black hair, and was rather lean in appearance. She is twenty-four years old.

The man, meanwhile, is around four years younger than her but has a look of anger on his face. He is well-built, is growing a mustache, and also sports pale skin.

"W-What's gotten into you, Michael?" the woman asked. The man growled as he stepped forward.

"You took advantage of me. You made me think I was something special, and yet you took away my innocence!" he shouted. The woman whimpered as he approached her.

"W-Wait, are you talking about...but that was four years ago! I thought you enjoyed that lovely stuff!" the woman cried out. Michael growled, but the woman noticed that it wasn't a typical human growl.

"It was not lovely! And that was back when I didn't know any better, Adrienne! Now, I realize that you're a witch! A monster! And now...you're gonna pay." Michael said as he grabbed her arm and pulled her up. The woman, Adrienne, screamed in pain.

"Now it's time for this predator to become...the prey." he said before pulling her head back. Adrienne yelped in pain before she heard a demonic hiss. Her eyes manage to catch Michael's face transforming into something akin to a devil. She gasped as she saw Michael lunge towards her neck! The woman screamed as she felt Michael's fangs pierce her skin, and she struggled in vain as Michael pushed her down, draining her as he enacts his revenge…

Back in the mansion, Meela hummed to herself as she raised a brow.

"Hm. I guess this one must have a troubled past. Well, I'm sure he'll be grateful for my assistance." chuckled Meela. However, when she's just about to check on the next fledgling, the door to her room opened, and in came her loyal gargoyle, Boian.

"Mistress. The transformation is just about complete. She is waiting." he explained. Meela hummed as she nodded.

"Alright. Take me to her. I must meet my daughter at once. Don't want her to lose control of herself. Especially with her level of power." she explained, standing up and walking out of the room, with Boian following after her.

However, it wasn't very long before they heard sounds of scuffling in the room where Karmi was. They could hear screeches and screams coming from inside.

"I think we might be a bit too late." Boian muttered to himself as the two sped up.

Once they got to the hall where the room was, Meela gasped as something was thrown out of the room and crashed against the wall. Meela blinked as another figure, Lily, came rushing out.

"Carrie!" cried Lily as she knelt to Carrie's height. Carrie groaned as she grabbed her chest while a deep cut on her left cheek quickly healed.

"Are you two alright?" asked Meela. Lily and Carrie looked at her, and the latter shook her head.

"Mistress, I was just preparing to go out and feed with Lily, when I heard growling from inside. So I checked inside when Karmi attacked me!" Carrie explained as the sisters got up.

"Your daughter has gone crazy! Why?" asked Lily.

Graahh!

A screech emits from the room, followed by the sound of something breaking! Meela approached the room and saw a hole in the wall. Outside, it had begun to rain.

"Mistress, what is going on?" Lily asked. Meela sighed again as she turned around.

"Do you two remember when you all first turned, and how you two killed that man I brought with you?" she asked. They nodded. "Well, this is something like that. Newly turned will immediately go for the first source of blood, even from other vampires."

The sisters nodded in understanding, and Meela turned towards the hole.

"I'm going after her. I'm the only one strong enough to restrain her." she said. Carrie blinked in concern.

"W-What about us?" she asked. Meela pointed at them.

"You stay here in case Boian needs you for something. Do not head outside until I come back." Meela instructed before her body began to transform, the shadow of the demonic bat creature spreading its wings, briefly overshadowing the sisters and Boian before it flew through the hole and out into the night sky.

Carrie grew concerned. Boian noticed her and lifted himself up.

"Fret not, young one. Mistress Meela has been around for nearly 2,700 years. If anyone can tame her, she can." he assured. Lily nodded.

"Yeah...wait, that long?" she asked. Boian nodded with a chuckle.

"Yes indeed. Trust me. She'll be fine…" he said as Meela flew into the rainy sky…

Back at the cafe, Hiro was getting his computer ready on his desk. He had headphones so that he could keep the noise level to a minimum so as not to disturb Aunt Cass.

He looked outside, seeing the rain picking up in intensity. He gulped to himself, hoping that those two sisters, their mistress, or any other vampire is out there, don't come in and catch him off guard.

"Relax, Hiro. Focus on what to say to your team. Besides, vampires can't come inside unless you invite them in. Right?" he asked himself as he looked at his phone and the newly reconstructed Baymax chip. On his phone were the texts he sent to the others, reminding them about the meeting and confirming it. Even Honey Lemon joined in, much to his relief. Then, he stared at the chip, taking it and holding it in his hands.

It almost looked like nothing had ever happened to it. While he was happy that he would meet his robotic friend soon, a part of him doubts that Meela didn't do anything about it. He really wanted to tell them about the chip, but he has no idea what Meela might have done to it. He could only hope that tomorrow, the school is open so that he would have a chance to inspect it.

Before long, he sets up the laptop and activates the video chat.

Boom.

Hiro flinched at the thunder. He sighed to himself in slight embarrassment: he still couldn't get over his fear of lightning due to how abrupt it can be. Gulping, he turned around to see three windows opening up, revealing his friends.

"Hey, guys." he greeted. Gogo, Honey, Wasabi, and Fred smiled back.

"Hey there, little dude." greeted Fred.

"How are you? Are you alright?" asked Honey in concern. Hiro nodded.

"Yeah. Body's still a bit sore but I'll manage. How about you guys?" he then asked. Gogo and Honey nodded.

"I'm fine. I've been better, but I'm fine. Gogo, on the other hand…" Honey explained as she gestured her head to Gogo, who gave a small smirk. Wasabi and Fred chuckled.

"Yeah. Even against vampires, she's tough as nails." Fred said. Hiro smiled back before he straightened himself up.

"Alright. Now for why I called up this meeting." he began as he adjusted himself. He briefly eyed the chip, and he frowned for a brief moment before reaching out towards the back.

"So I've tried looking up everything that might be useful: such as finding out the powers, strengths, and weaknesses of the vampires. Turns out, Honey Lemon was right: SO many versions of vampires that it is hard to see which is legitimate and which only applies to fiction!" he explained. Honey nodded to herself in agreement as the others listened in.

"So, I've been able to list some of their more common abilities: super-strength, super-speed, super senses, teleportation (although that could be because they move so fast), hypnosis, super agility, stuff like that. As for weaknesses; it's sunlight, decapitation, garlic, and anything holy, like a Crucifix. That's all I've been able to find that is consistent. And even then, it varies." he explained as he pulled out a list of everything he's discovered. The gang was able to see thanks to the computer's lighting. After a few seconds, Hiro pulled it away and then pulled something up.

From Gogo's side of the computer, she thought she saw something along the walls when another lightning struck. She thought it looked like a shadow but dismissed it as Hiro's own shadow. However, Honey Lemon whispered to her,

"You saw that too?"

Gogo blinked in surprise. Honey gestured to the screen.

"The shadow?" asked Gogo. Honey nodded. But before they could continue, Hiro pulled out a sketch of future upgrades for the suits.

"I've been designing some upgrades for the suits in relation to the vampires' weaknesses that we can exploit. But it might not entirely be effective. So next time we go out on another patrol, we mus-"

Bang!

The next lightning and thunder came. And it was really loud, as Hiro shouted and waved his hands around, accidentally knocking off the headphones. The others blinked in surprise at the abruptness. Hiro sighed in relief, and Gogo heard him say something as he got down to retrieve the headphones, with another lightning flash illuminating the room.

And that...was when she saw her.

In Hiro's side of the room, he fumbled for a brief moment as he reached down for his headphones.

"I swear, the freaking thunder scares me. *sigh* I hope I didn't lose connection." he said as he picked up the headphones. As he got up and placed the headphones on, he was immediately bombarded with shouts.

"Hiro! Someone's behind you! Get out of there, now!" Honey said.

"Hiro! You've gotta go, man! It looks like a crazy person!" Fred shouted.

"Hiro, for God's sake, get the hell out of there! It's behind you." Gogo shouted, banging her fist against the desk as she got up.

Hiro blinked in surprise, not knowing what was going on initially. But upon understanding more clearly what was going on, he gasped.

"T-There's someone behind me?!" he asked as he was taking off his headphones when he felt something running down his neck slowly. He froze up for a moment, watching everyone shouting again while Gogo got up and rushed off the screen. But what got his focus the most was the feeling of multiple sharp objects running along his neck.

Bang!

Another lightning lit up the room, just as Hiro was forcibly turned around, facing whoever was behind him. Then, the person wrapped her arm around his back and eventually forced him to look up. Hiro gasped as he recognized who it was.

Bang!

Another lightning further revealed the facial features of Hiro's rival: Karmi! But this time, it wasn't the Karmi he knew. Instead, this one had a maniacal smile, two elongated canines had grown out, the rest of her teeth razor-sharp, and her eyes bright green with reptilian slits.

"Hello, genius." she greeted. Hiro's heart began to beat rapidly as he stared helplessly at her.

"K-Karmi?!" he asked.

Karmi's response was her licking her lips and growling. Not like a dog or any kind of animal, but instead something purely evil.

Bang!

Hiro screamed in fear, with Karmi screeching back in response, her ungodly screeching echoing across the room and into the halls below. Then, with a violent tug of his hair, Hiro's head was forced backward, exposing his neck. Karmi hissed again as she arched her head back and lunged towards the neck!

Crrk!

From Honey's screen, Honey could see the vampire biting into Hiro's neck. Honey screamed as Hiro's body was yanked to the side, his arm accidentally knocking the computer off and shutting down Hiro's screen. Without even thinking, Honey got up and rushed towards the door with her phone. There, she saw Gogo rushing ahead.

"Gogo, I'm coming too!" Honey said. Gogo looked back and shouted,

"You're still hurt!"

"I don't care, tonto. Hiro's a good friend of mine as well! His life matters more!" she stated, even though she had an arm around her waist. Gogo, seeing no point in arguing, nodded in acceptance.

"Alright! I just hope that we can get there in time!" Gogo said. Honey nodded, although she had another frown, internally doubting herself on whether they'll arrive on time.

Hiro had never felt such pain in his entire life! Feeling several sharp teeth and fangs piercing the flesh as there were multiple big needles stabbing through, and the pressure of the bite being far stronger than what Hiro thought was possible for a humanoid to exert. Hell, it was enough for him to be unable to scream! It was much worse than when Meela bit him.

He felt the blood leaving him, and he kept on struggling, trying to push Karmi off. In response, Karmi just shook her head, the fangs tearing the flesh, even more, causing him so much pain that Hiro didn't even know how he was still alive! Her grip on him tightened.

After a while, Hiro felt himself begin to lose consciousness. His struggling began to lessen while his vision and hearing started to go blurry. As tears began to stream down, Hiro, like before, began to remember his past; his childhood, to his new friends, to his aunt, and lastly to Karmi. The very same girl who is killing him right now is also a pleasant memory of his. Then, he focused on the past few days they had spent time together. With that, he felt like his mind was at peace.

At that point, Hiro stopped struggling, and closed his eyes, preparing to meet his brother soon. He then felt the pressure on his throat increase as Karmi began to bite deeper into the neck.

Chink! Graahh!

Immediately, Hiro felt Karmi releasing his neck as she screeched in agony. He then felt himself fall onto the floor. His vision was blurry, but he could faintly see an outline of someone looking at Karmi.

"Get away from my nephew!"

"A-Aunt...Cass?" Hiro thought to himself as he struggled to lift his head up. However, he was too weak to do so.

Cass, meanwhile, stared at Karmi, who had a knife to her left cheek, and was screeching in pain. Cass took the time to look back at her nephew, and she was horrified by seeing her nearly-dead nephew lying on the floor, struggling to move.

Karmi managed to get the knife out of her cheek, and Cass looked back as her cheek healed in seconds. Cass widened her eyes in shock, but she got herself ready to defend him with her life. Karmi grinned as she tossed the knife to the bed, grew her claws, and sped towards her.

What Karmi didn't expect was for Cass to dodge the attack, and she responded by wrapping her arms around her and sweeping her feet, sending them tumbling to the ground. Karmi screeched in alarm, but thanks to her strength, she was able to push Cass off of her and toss her to the bed.

Cass shouted in pain as her back collided with the wall before she slumped down. She looked up and saw Karmi turning her attention to her nephew, who was looking at her with desperation. Seeing this, Cass stood up, and with her hand on a set of books, charged towards her. She threw the books at her, catching Karmi off guard, allowing her to pick up the knife and jab it towards her. Karmi, however, grabbed her hand and began to push her back. Cass grunted as she was then pushed towards the corner of a wall. Gulping, she dropped her knife, and Karmi's grin grew as her fangs extended. Finally, Karmi released her grip on her hand and grabbed her shoulders in a vice grip.

However, Cass pressed her hands against Karmi's face and, with her thumbs, gouged her eyes, her nails cutting them. Karmi screamed in pain as she pulled back. Now that she's blinded, at least temporarily, Cass managed to pick up the knife and place it in her left pocket before she moved in to pick up Hiro.

"Don't worry, sweetie. W-We're gonna get out of this!" she said as she rushed down the stairs. As she rushed along the hall, she heard rapid footsteps coming down the stairs. Cass tries to make it down as fast as she could, but she then felt herself being rammed down.

Cass and Hiro tumbled onto the floor. This startled a nearby Mochi, who was sleeping on the couch. Mochi meowed as he leaped off the couch and ran away.

Cass, meanwhile, looked up to see Karmi glaring down at her like a ravenous wolf, eyes fully healed and filled with anger. Cass gasped as she crawled over to Hiro, placing her body on top of his. Karmi hissed at her and was about to jump towards her when,

"That's enough!"

Karmi froze in fear as she looked to her right, eyes widening as she felt an immense aura of power.

Cass blinked in surprise, but then she heard Hiro struggling to breathe. She gasped and began to cover his neck, trying to prevent any more loss of blood. She then heard the sound of heels from upstairs.

"Oh dear. I was getting a bit concerned about you, my dear."

Cass looked up as she saw Meela looked at Karmi. She gave a chuckle as she shook her head.

"Oh, Karmi. I see you've got a meal. What is it you have?" she asked as she turned to the direction of the Hamadas. She widened her eyes as she recognized Hiro.

"Oh, my. You got him real good, haven't you?" she asked, turning to Karmi. Karmi slightly hung her head in shame, and her eyes caught her right hand clutching onto the wall, creating cracks. Meela shook her hands.

"No matter. I can still sense his heartbeat." she said as she walked over to her. Cass gasped as she held her nephew closer to her.

"W-What are you doing? G-Get away from us!" Cass said as she fished in her pockets for her knife. However, before she could fish it out, Cass was suddenly grabbed by the throat and lifted up. Cass instinctively grabbed onto Meela's wrist as she gagged for air. Meela simply looked at her, eyeing her as if Cass was valuable.

"Hmm...you must be his mother, right?" she asked. Cass glared at her as she tightened her hold on the wrist. Meela gave a chuckle.

"I must say: you impress me with your techniques. You might be useful." she said before gently tossing her to the side. And by that, she actually threw her to the wall, causing more cracks. Meela then looked down at Hiro and gently lifted him. Cass, while injured, tried to get up, but Karmi kept her pinned, making sure to straddle her and pin her arms to the ground so that she doesn't try to sneak in an attack.

Meela looked at his neck, and she leaned forward. Despite Cass's shouts of protest, Meela simply ran her tongue over his neck. While she was doing this, the cuts on his neck slowly began to heal up. Eventually, this left only a scar on his neck. Meela chuckled as she then bit her own wrist, cutting through the skin before hovering it over Hiro's neck.

"There we go. Now, just to wait a while." Meela said as she grew an evil grin, watching a few droplets of blood enter his mouth. Karmi grinned at her mistress while Cass was struggling in vain.

"No! Please! Hiro, I'm sorry! I love you!" Cass called out.

However, before anything else could happen, the window to the room broke apart as a yellow disk flew inside. Meela did not see it coming: she was hit in the hand, the pain forcing her to release Hiro as she recoiled back in surprise. Karmi gasped as she stared on, eventually seeing a yellow blur launched inside the room, landing just in front of Meela. Immediately, she got off of Cass and rushed over to the attacker.

However, a ball was launched inside, striking Karmi and trapping her in goo. Then, a pink figurine jumped inside.

It was Gogo and Honey Lemon!

Gogo looked around and quickly gasped upon seeing Hiro on the floor. She widened her eyes in horror while Honey gasped.

"Hiro!" she said as she rushed over and inspected him. Cass stared on, seeing some of Big Hero 6 arriving just in time. However, upon hearing Tall Girl's voice, she couldn't help but feel like she could recognize it.

"You guys saw the room?! There's blood and it was a mess!" a voice from the hall said as footsteps rushed inside. Cass could then see another member of the team: Flame Jumper, as she can recall.

Fred, all the while, had just arrived from the window to Hiro's room. Having heard the commotion, he rushed down as fast as he could. Imagine the surprise he had when he saw Hiro nearly dead, with Honey and Gogo protecting him and Cass from this strange woman and Karmi, who was halfway through escaping her prison.

"Oh, crud! Hiro!" Fred shouted, before turning towards the strange woman. Meela stared at him, intrigued by the design of his suit.

"Hmm. I've never seen a costume like this before." she said.

"Who are you?! Why are you doing this?!" Honey shouted as she held Hiro close to her. Meela turned to her and smiled.

"Oh, darling. As much as it would be to entertain you all with the answer, I see no point to it. So...show me what you got." she said. Honey shouted as Meela immediately zoomed towards her, the claws barely scraping against her shoulders.

Immediately, Gogo lept back and launched a disk at Meela. However, Meela, with lightning speed, grabbed the disk and tossed it to the side.

"Lizard Charge!" Fred said as he charged like a football player. Meela responded by super-speeding behind him, grabbing his arm, and swung him towards the kitchen, barely missing Cass. Fred crashed into an oven, destroying it.

"Oww...thank god for this suit." Fred grunted. However, the eyelid covering his face was opening, exposing himself. Cass, who was getting up so as to get out of the way, turned around to see Fred, face contorting to one of surprise as she recognized him.

"F-Fred?!" asked Cass. The team froze in surprise. Honey and Gogo looked at one another as Meela gave a slight chuckle.

Then, Karmi managed to break free from her restraint. Cass turned to see Karmi rushing towards the two to get to Hiro. Immediately, Cass rushed forward to save her nephew. Thankfully for her, Gogo managed to grab Karmi. However, she didn't expect Karmi to push her back easily.

"Ngh...someone get Hiro out of here!" she demanded. Cass didn't need to be told twice, as she skated behind them, and picked him up. Honey created several small chemballs and launched them towards Meela, who dodged them with ease. But the balls did create some mist, damaging the walls.

Karmi looked as she saw Cass rushing down the stairs with Hiro in her arms. Growling in anger, she easily lifted Gogo up and tossed her towards Honey Lemon. Then, she sped down the stairs after Cass.

Cass, all the while, was halfway towards the kitchen when she was greeted by Karmi, who gave her a hateful glare. Cass gasped as she froze, not knowing what to do.

Suddenly, Karmi rushed towards her, claws extended. In a panic, Cass accidentally dropped Hiro and with quick thinking, stepped to the side, Karmi's claw barely missing her left eye. However, Karmi was not done: she quickly grabbed a chair and threw it towards her with incredible velocity. Cass gasped and dodged it, causing the chair to break the outside window.

However, Cass dodging the chair left her vulnerable.

Karmi quickly sped forward, went behind Cass, and trapped her in a rear chokehold. Cass struggled as she scraped at her arms. But it was fruitless thanks to Karmi's strength.

Back upstairs, Gogo was dodging Meela's attacks. Despite Gogo having quick agility, Meela was far too quick for her to keep up, and occasionally, she would land in a hit. Honey and Fred tried to help, but again, Meela's speed prevented them from landing good hits.

Gogo, as she dodged another blow, then shouted,

"Where is Wasabi?!"

"He's on his way! He's taking his minivan! No way is he running all the way. It takes a while!" Fred explained as he grabbed onto Meela, who simply pushed his arms out of the way and kicked him on the side. Gogo growled as Meela grabbed Honey by the throat. Shouting, Gogo practically tackled Meela, the two of them tussling onto the floor. Yet Meela won easily, and she shot herself and Gogo up to the roof. Honey and Fred stared on as Meela stood upside down.

Meela stared at Gogo, who was struggling to get out of her vice-grip. She tilted her head and gave a grin.

"You're a fighter. I'll give you that...Gogo." she said, before leaning in and sniffing her. Gogo got creeped out by this and began to punch her. Meela, however, dodged them once more. "Then again, that is to be expected of one whose blood freed me."

"Ngh...Gga...What?" groaned Gogo as Meela's grip tightened.

"I know it was you. I saw it on the broken helmet you left behind. Thanks to that accident you had, my friend had no trouble getting the blood of a virgin."

"V-Virgin? A-Are you into-Ack!" Gogo tried to let out a wisecrack, but another tightening silenced her.

"Of course, I would've been freed regardless, as my friends, whom you've met, by the way, would have found another virgin for their blood. Your timing made it more convenient, and I thank you for that." Meela explained before she threw Gogo down.

"Gogo!" Honey said as she tossed another chemball, creating a gooey cushion, saving Gogo from crashing into the floor.

"And for that, I will grant you all with a gift: servitude to me." Meela said as she launched herself back down, facing off the three once again!

Back downstairs, Cass could barely breathe as Karmi squeezed her throat. Her vision was showing dots and she could hear a faint ringing in her ears. Karmi growled as she leaned into her ears.

"Don't fight it, Miss. Your nephew will have a blast being something more powerful than anything you would expect. Too bad you won't be there with him." she finally spoke. Cass blinked as she saw her unconscious nephew lying on the floor.

"Hiro…" Cass thought as she remembered the conversation earlier that day.

"When your parents died, I made myself promise that I would take care of both you and Tadashi. I struggled, but I did the best I could. Look how good you and Tadashi turned out."

"I love you, baby. So much so that if I try explaining...it wouldn't even get close to how I feel. You're all that I have left. As much as I adore your friends, they'll never come close to you."

"We may not have any control over what happens to us or the people we care about, but that doesn't mean we should just give up. What about the rest of your friends? What are they gonna think if they heard you say that? They still care about you, Hiro. I still care about you."

"I love you, Aunt Cass. I love you so much…"

"I love you too, Hiro. I would do anything for you to be safe."

"I really do, Hiro. Your friends and I love you. And we are not giving up...I AM NOT GIVING UP ON YOU!" Cass thought as she gritted her teeth.

With what little strength she had left, she swung her body to her left, and with quick thinking, she grabbed her legs and lifted her up via the legs, slamming her down onto a table. Karmi screeched in shock. Cass then grabbed her knife and jabbed it into her throat. Karmi screamed in pain again.

Cass turned to look at her nephew and tried to get to him, but she then tripped on her legs. She had been held into that grip for so long that her body is still recovering the oxygen it needs, leaving her with very little strength. As she stared at her nephew, her peripheral vision caught the sight of a mini-van driving up towards the cafe and quick speed.

Before she could see it further, she was then pushed down by Karmi again. Karmi then pulled out her knife, and as the wounds healed, she then spoke to her.

"I have had it! Say goodbye, mother of a twerp!" she shouted as she raised her knife outwards. Cass could cover her face with her hands, closing her eyes.

Slash!

Cass then heard Karmi scream in agony once more. She opened her eyes to see her clutching her arm, which had been sliced off! Then, Karmi turned to see her attacker, and she leaped off just in time!

Her assailant was Wasabi!

Wasabi stood in front of Cass, blades activated and ready to cut her off. However, he managed to see Hiro, who was lying between them! Anger took hold and Wasabi rushed forward, and Karmi managed to dodge his blades easily while she was still clutching her arm. Wasabi turned to look at Cass.

"Get him out of here, Miss Hamada! Take him to a hospital or something!" he demanded. Cass nodded, and despite her exhausted body, crawled over to Hiro and lifted him up. Karmi noticed and tried to reach out to her, but Wasabi's blades managed to create a cut on her cheek, making her screech in agony.

As the two fought, Cass opened the door to the cafe, grabbed the keys, and rushed to her car. Mochi, who was hiding in the donut stands nearby, noticed his owner rushing off, and with quick thinking, rushed off after her, meowing. As Cass opened the door to set her nephew down onto the chair, she noticed Mochi running after her. While she loves her nephew more than anything else, she didn't want to leave her pet behind either if she could help it.

"Come on, sweetie! Quickly!" Cass gestured just as Mochi got inside the car. When that's done, Cass quickly got onto the driver's seat, looked around for her cars, sighing in relief when she found them on the passenger seat next to hers and turned the car on.

Back inside, Karmi turned around to see the car driving off.

"No!" Karmi screamed as she was about to speed towards it when Wasabi tackled her down.

"Ngh! Stay down, Karmi! This isn't like you!" Wasabi said, desperately trying to reason with her. Karmi, however, just laughed.

"Oh, don't get me started with that! You know the Karmi you knew is gone!" Karmi taunted before turning around quickly and kicked him upwards, literally through the ceiling, where the others are getting clobbered by Meela! Karmi stared up, and then at her stump. Then to her surprise, the wound before began to sprout up a bone, then muscles and tendons, and finally skin. Karmi grinned at this as the cut on her cheek healed up as well, before looking up and jumping to the floor above.

Gogo, Honey Lemon, and Fred were clobbered by Meela, and all three of them were thrown against a corner. Meela showed no signs of any injury whatsoever.

"Hmm. You all fought well...but I am sensing a hint of restraint." Meela stated. Gogo looked up at her with a glare.

"Restraint? Hah. That's funny." Gogo stated.

"Then how come you all didn't kill me when you had the chance? The tall one had some chemicals that could easily incapacitate me, and your disk can easily slice off my limbs at the right angle?" Meela stated. Honey and Gogo looked at one another, the former concerned before the latter rebutted with,

"Well, this place is small! We're not used to fighting in such cramped places!"

"Hmhmhm. That's another point, I suppose. Regardless, it proves my point: you all have some conviction preventing you from going all out. That...angers me." Meela stated as her gaze hardened.

Bang!

The floor behind her suddenly was blown open. However, Meela reached back and grabbed whatever it was that was thrown upwards. She moved her hand forward, and her eyes saw Wasabi's figure, the man groaning in pain.

"Wasabi!" Honey called out. Meela raised a brow at the name before she continued staring at him. Then, she sneered in disgust.

"A dark-skinned one." she said as she threw him towards the gang.

"Ahh!" Wasabi shouted as he crashed against the crater that was already forming. The rest gasped as they rushed over to him.

"Damon!" Gogo said, calling Wasabi by his real name.

Meanwhile, Meela looked at the hole as Karmi jumped up to join her.

"Mistress. How did it go?" she asked. Meela smiled.

"It wasn't that difficult, really. Although they do show promise. Where's Hiro?" she asked. Karmi frowned as she looked down.

"He...he got away. With his mother." Karmi stated, again calling Cass his mom incorrectly. Meela sighed through her nose, and Karmi felt herself shivering under her gaze. But to her relief, Meela hummed.

"No worries for now. We'll focus on him another time. Right now, we've got ourselves the main course." Meela stated as they turned to look at the rest of the team.

Fred was growing scared as the two turned to look at them. The team fought their hardest, but the woman was too much for them. Seeing their faces contorting into ones that look like demons made his heart race faster.

Then, an idea came into his mind. It is risky, but to him, it is better than becoming food or worse.

As the two moved closer, Fred spoke to himself.

"As the monsters began to close in, and all hope seems to be lost, Fredzilla decides to do something he swore he would never do."

"F-Fred. What the hell are you doing now at a time like this?" Gogo demanded as they crawled back. Fred, despite the pain in his stomach, stood up.

"Scorched Earth!" Fred shouted as from the suit's "mouth", fire shot out. Meela and Karmi gasped and screeched, their instincts overrode with fear as they saw fire! Fred, however, wasn't done, and he began to light up the walls, the floor, and the nearby furniture. The others looked on in shock.

"Fred! What are you doing?!" shouted Wasabi.

"Scorched Earth Policy! These things are afraid of fire, so I'm lighting the place up!" Fred shouted.

"B-But this is Hiro's home!" Honey shouted. Gogo, however, saw the two vampires screeching as the flames quickly spread across the house, surrounding them. Each of them carries a look of raw, primal fear. She then looked to her back, seeing the crater that looks like it's about to cave in.

"Guys, let him do it! It'll give us an opportunity to get us out of here!" she instructed. Honey and Wasabi looked at her in shock, and then at each other. "Trust me! We saw how fast and strong they can get! If we're to get out of here, now's our chance!" Gogo explained.

"Oof...I don't think Hiro and Aunt Cass are gonna like this." Honey Lemon said. Wasabi nodded before looking at Gogo.

"How are we gonna get out of here?! The stairs leading downstairs are blocked!" Wasabi stated, pointing to the direction of the flames covering the path to the stairs. Gogo nodded in understanding before turning to face Honey Lemon.

"Sunshine! You think you can melt these walls?!" she asked, pointing to the crater. Honey nodded as she began to type into her chempurse.

"You are NOT getting away from us!" Meela's voice called out through the flames as the team saw her lean figurine transforming into a tall, muscular, and winged form. Honey yelped as she began to increase the speed of the typing. Eventually, several green balls eventually launched into her hands. Honey launched two of them to the crater, the corrosive balls dissolving the wood like it was nothing, creating a hole leading into another room: the storage room.

As they rushed inwards, Honey turned back to see Meela's demonic bat form rushing towards them, screeching an unholy screech as the monster reached out towards them. Honey screamed as she launched another batch of green chemballs towards it. Upon contact, Meela screeched in pain as the acid dissolved through her skin. Wasabi took the opportunity to slice at the hand, cutting it off. Meela screeched as she stepped back. But this time, Karmi launched herself ahead of them. But this time, she also took the appearance of her true form: a demonic being with wings, but they were less batlike and more birdlike, giving her the appearance of a corrupted angel instead of a true demon.

Fred responded by launching another barrage of fire at her, causing her to lurch back, some of the flames catching onto her.

"Hurry up!" Gogo shouted. Honey nodded as she threw the chemballs back at the wall behind them, causing it to erode away and reveal the outside! At this point, the two demons screeched again, causing the team to look back, seeing them rushing towards them despite the flames, and melted upper body in Meela's case.

"Dios mio. Alright, everyone. Stand back now!" Honey ordered as she typed on her chempurse again. This time, four pink chemballs and two bright yellow chemballs plucked out from her purse. Honey launched the four chemballs outside, and the two bright yellow chemballs towards the vampires!

"Now, go! GO! GO!" Honey shouted as she pushed them all out of the hole. As the two of them fell, the four chemballs had landed and have created a pink cushion. At the same time of them landing on the cushion,

Boom!

An explosion from inside the cafe rocked the neighborhood. Honey, Gogo, Fred, and Wasabi looked up to see what was left of the cafe beginning to crumble as flames spread, wood churning. Fred stared upwards, and then looked at Honey Lemon.

"Honestly. I didn't not know that you can make an explosion, HL." he said. Honey nodded as they got up.

"I have every single chemical element in the periodic table, Fred." she said, not taking her eyes off of the building.

Crash!

The team flinched as the roof of the place erupts open, and they could see two flying figures flying out of the burning building. They were Meela and Karmi, and they seemed to be in a panicking state. Fred gawked.

"That didn't destroy them? Damn, they're tough." he said. Gogo then patted him on the shoulder roughly.

"Guys. I don't think they're what we need to worry about right now." Gogo said as she pointed to the building, whose flames are getting more and more intense. At this point, neighbors are getting out of the house to see what was going on. They began to panic upon seeing the burning building. Gogo, seeing the panicked reactions, turned to the team.

"We've gotta put out the fire!" she instructed. The team nodded as Honey tapped into her chempurse again while the others looked for a fire hydrant. As Honey shot three white chemballs at the building, creating a substance similar to a fire hydrant, Fred noticed the fire hydrant nearby.

"There's a fire hydrant!" Fred shouted. Gogo nodded.

"Good. Wasabi, cut the thing open. Fred, try and direct it to the house and help Honey extinguish it. I'll try and keep the people back." she instructed.

"Yes, ma'am!" they instructed and the team went into action.

Wasabi used his blades to cut open the fire hose. Fred found the lid of a trash can, and with all of his might, managed to redirect it to the building. All the while, Honey threw more fire-retardant chemballs, slowly but surely putting out the flames with help from the water.

After a while, the fire was eventually put out. The building, while still standing, was in ruin.

The crowd cheered for their heroes for stopping the fire. But the heroes were in a not-so celebratory mood. After giving brief waves at the crowd, they got into Wasabi's car and drove off, leaving behind a mess.

Inside the car, the gang was silent for a while. They were too shaken up from their encounter with the vampires. Then, Gogo sighed as she removed her helmet and covered her face with her hands.

"Dear God...we almost lost Hiro." she said, nearly shivering. Honey, who was sitting next to her, looked at her in sympathy.

"Don't worry, Ethel. I'm sure Hiro can still be saved in time." she said, trying to cheer her up. Gogo looked at her.

"I don't think so. He's been bitten by Karmi. For all we know, he could be turning into a vampire by this point! We don't even know how long the transformation lasts! Hours, minutes, seconds, we don't know! There's nothing we can do about it if that happens! Face it, Luciana! He's screwed!" Gogo explained, calling Honey by her real name. The others grew tense by this revelation. Honey frowned by this, and she simply turned around, looking at the city in darkness.

Then, Fred gave a gasp.

"Oh, that's right. Maybe we might not have to worry about that." he said as he fished through his suit. Gogo and the others looked at him in surprise.

"What do you mean?" she asked. Eventually, Fred smiled and through the opening of his suit, he pulled something out and showed it to them. To everyone's shock, it was...Baymax's chip!

"I found this lying in Hiro's desk when I jumped in." he said. Honey gently took the chip, allowing her and Gogo to inspect it.

"It...it looks...it looks real. You think Hiro might've copied it or something?" asked Honey. Gogo wanted to believe he did, but she knew Hiro: he wouldn't create a replica of something irreplaceable of his brother's. So, she shook her head. Then Fred piped in with,

"Then maybe that vampire chick made some type of spell or something to restore him! Probably as part of that deal Hiro texted us about." he said. Wasabi, who had been silent up till now, chimed in with,

"You know, if it weren't for that magical haunted house, the living gargoyle, werewolf, and vampires prowling the streets as of now, I'd say Fred's gone over his head. But now that I've seen all of that supernatural crap...I don't know what else to think of." he said. Gogo nodded.

"In that case; I'm not sure if we can trust using this thing." she said. Fred pouted.

"Aww. But this could bring back Baymax!" he said.

"I hate to say it, Freddie. But Gogo's got a point. We don't know how this type of magic works...or any magic, really. So we should at least inspect it before we can be sure." Honey explained, disappointingly. Fred pouted, but he said nothing else. Gogo then shook her head.

"Alright. Let's not worry about that, right now. Let's just focus on Hiro right now. Okay?" she asked. They nodded, now a bit more sure on what to do.

"Let's just hope we're not too late. And that Aunt Cass doesn't kill us." Wasabi stated as their car drove along the streets.

Meanwhile, on the skyscrapers of San Fransokyo, Meela and Karmi flew towards one of the rooftops, landing. This was when their wounds began to heal, and in Meela's case, growing a new arm, before they reverted back to their human forms.

Meela looked at Karmi, who stared at her with guilty eyes.

"Karmi, my dear...why did you run off like that? There was a meal prepared for you. And you came close to killing him. I had plans for him." she asked, a hint of frustration in her voice. Karmi winced a bit at her disappointed tone.

"I...I'm not sure, mistress. I-I just felt the urge to visit that boy's home. I...It felt like I had to be there. I don't know why." she said. Meela listened to her and hummed to herself as she thought of her explanation. Then, upon remembering their past encounter with the two together, Meela asked,

"Is it because...you like him?" she asked. Karmi shook her head rapidly.

"N-No! He's annoying!" she said. Meela, however, could sense that she is lying. Yet she laughed and approached her.

"Oh, sweetie. No need to lie to me." she said. Karmi winced as she felt her body shivering. However, Meela simply placed a hand on her cheek.

"It is rare, but something like this has happened before with a few of my daughters before you. No matter: what matters is that you're alright." she said, with genuine warmth in her voice. Karmi, sensing this, relaxed.

"I...I'm sorry I startled you, mistress." she said. Meela shook her head.

"No need. In the end, I know what we're dealing with now...and I'm more than excited to have them on our side." she explained. Karmi looked up and the two smiled at one another. However, Meela grabbed Karmi's chin roughly and began to squeeze it, making her wince. Her face turned firm.

"With all of that said; you nearly killed him. I have plans on making him my own. His mind is very gifted like yours. So, if I have to come after you again without my orders, you'll be cleaning my house from top to bottom. And that's if you're VERY lucky. Got it?" she asked, tightening her grip every fourth word. Karmi nodded rapidly, feeling her cheekbones cracking.

"Y-Yes, mistress!" she said. Satisfied, Meela lets go, before placing her hand on her shoulder gently.

"Now, let's leave them be for now. We've gotta go and eat. Are you good with that?" she asked. Karmi nodded, now growing excited at the prospect of more food.

"Yes, mistress!" she said, happily. Meela chuckled softly again before she then said,

"Please, sweetie. Don't call me 'Mistress'. Just call me mother." she said. Karmi nodded again.

"Okay, mis-I mean, mother." she corrected. Meela smiled and took her hand, before the two of them walked off the ceiling, transformed into their monster forms, and flew off into the starry night, searching for more morsels to feast on…

AN: Hey everyone, I'm back.

Finally got to the point of the story shown in the prologue. I had a bit of fun making this one. Including the bit where Michael attacks Adrianne, as it is a jab at a disgusting story I wrote a long time ago. Goodness, I hated myself at that time.

A bit of a fact: I did plan to have Cass actually win in a match against Karmi, but I decided against it because it would make the vampires less scary. As for how she got these skills...well, if anyone remembers that scene from Season 3 of BH6:TS, she mentions that she practiced softball in college, so I got the idea to expand on her skills a bit.

That's all I have to say. Hope you enjoy it, leave any criticisms, and stick around for more!
