Dads And Boys

"The answer is no" Scott Tracy told his daughter Lucy and that's final. Lucy looked at her father who by now had his arms across his chest. Scott squared his stance not budging an inch Lucy weighted her odds and saw that she wasn't going to end well for now at least."Ugh I hate you!" and with that Lucy Tracy slammed her bedroom door in Scott's face. "Well that went exactly as I planned" Scott thought to himself with a smile on his face proud at what he had done. "What was that all about?" Scott turned around and saw his wife Kayo coming up the stairs with a laundry basket in hand.

"Oh nothing dear" Scott said a little rather to quickly for Kayo's liking. Smirking Kayo put the laundry basket off to the side; "does this have anything to do with boys?" Facing his wife Scott tried his best to get his wife off his case; "yeah right boys Kayo your dreaming." Placing her hands on her hips Kayo says Scott you're blushing red under your eyes a clear sign your jealous. "No I am not!" Scott said as he watched Kayo lean back and raise an eyebrow clearly not convinced.

"Oh really Scott then please try to explain to me and then maybe to our daughter how you had Uncle Virgil spy on all my dates and report back to you" Kayo said in a somewhat loud voice. Scott could hear his daughter laughing within her room and this caused him to another door open up behind him "you're a terrible liar dad you know that?" "Especially when you twiddle your fingers behind your back when your caught in a lie or when your nervous." Kayo couldn't help but laugh rolling his eyes Scott; "thank you for relaying that vital piece of information dear daughter" Scott didn't have to know it was his daughter who said that. Scott Tracy knew he wasn't defeated just yet. Scott could enjoy the peace of mind knowing he won this battle but he knows he hasn't won this so called war.
