The Winged Ferret

An Original Poem

There is an ancient myth that whenever someone dies, an animal spirit known as the Winged Ferret guides their soul to the Spirit World.

Believed to be the in-between of the living and the dead, it is home to the spirits who are still tied to someone or something here on Earth.

With wings like an owl, eyes the color of turquoise, and fur a virgin white, the Winged Ferret is referred to as the Guardian of Hope.

Her eternal mission is to watch over the souls that are stuck in the in-between and protect them from all harm, both mortal and immortal.

The ferret's strength isn't powered by hatred, or jealousy, or bitterness, or anger, or even fear.

Her strength is compassion, joy, hope, kindness, peace and love.
