Zoids: Lost Eden

Chapter 18: Back Alley Negotiations

System Trial 01: Revised Geno Saurer vs. Elephander

Strong winds blew past two Zoids currently situated against each other with a badly damaged Whale King in the middle of the desert. On one side was Gerard's mighty Elephander, brandishing its beam sword like an armored knight from the days of old Earth. On the other stood Sakura's refurbished Geno Saurer. Gone were its old nose guns and pulse lasers. In their place, a shiny new visor on the nose and a pair of massive swords were rested on the back. The two swords gleamed under the light of Zi's moons and gave the Tyrannosaur a surprisingly garish appearance.

It was remodeled into a completely different machine that even Gerard could not contain his awe. He could almost feel his jaw drop. He had never seen this Zoid before. "This isn't the Geno Breaker is it, Ms. Byakuiei?" That Zoid was red and usually sported massive X-Breakers instead of swords.

"This is called the Geno Ritter. It's the perfected variant of Demon's Jagd Geno project." Zhou explains, sending the schematics of the new Zoid to the Elephander pilot. "We perfected this close-range variant with the data used to complete the Stealth Stinger's operating system. The helmet serves as a limiter so we hopefully will not encounter the same problem with that unit."

"Your name is Geno Ritter huh?" Sakura commits the new name to her memory. "I like it." A thrill of excitement coursed through her nerves the moment she set foot into the cockpit. All the panels and throttle assemblies were right where they used to be, lending it a warm sense of familiarity. Upon further inspection however, some new settings regarding the unit's speed had been added.

"Your Zoid's speed and reflexes have been jacked up thanks to those new parts I've installed. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised." Zhou smiles as she oversees the exercise. "Okay kid, diagnosis systems?"

Sakura gives her displays one more look over to make sure they are all ready. "Check."

"Emergency systems?"

"Uhh…" She caught sight of a new module installed on her dash mentioning something about her Zoid's 'headgear' setting. "There's a new module here but it's still showing green. Distress beacons and emergency power are all showing green as well."

"I'll take that as a check. Don't mind the new module too much. It helps suppress the Organoid System's enhanced instinct. But don't get too lax. It's still a lot higher than your old one." Zhou informs the young pilot. "Activate the Zoid now!"

Upon activation, Sakura feels the primal instinct of her Zoid through their mental link. She had heard of pilots having a distinct personality change upon stepping into the cockpit of an OS-equipped Zoid. The culmination of a super-civilization long gone extinct. Wielding its full power feels rather refreshing.

Growl…

The Geno Ritter's senses flared up; the Zoid shaking its body in order to wake its mechanical joints from apathy. A pulsating red light indicated that its Organoid System was in 100% working order. It glared at the opposing Elephander up ahead.

Zhou immediately takes note of any differences between its initial startup settings and its current one. Nothing too alarming so far. "Alright. Let's check the muscles first."

Receiving her instructions, Sakura decides to test her Zoid's head and neck muscles first, bringing the Zoid's jaws forward with a bite. She shifts the assembly to have her Zoid go for a bite attack and—

SNAP!

"Whoah!" Sakura yelped as the Zoid's jaws lunged with surprising speed. From her display, she could see that the Elephander had taken a step backwards as well, equally surprised as she is. Admittedly, seeing the giant steel elephant step back in surprise made her giggle.

"Shit! That made me jump." Gerard sighed, moving his Zoid back into position. He could hear the younger pilot giggling to herself from the intercom. "Hey don't laugh!"

"Sorry!" Sakura replied, snickering. The Geno Ritter also seemed to be amused with itself, staring back at the Elephander with its default grin. This new Zoid was pure fun. Yes. That was the best word to describe what she was feeling.

"Told you its reaction time is at least two times greater now. You might want to use a gentler touch from now on." Zhou reminds Sakura. "And what about its speed? Take a few laps around the Whale King. Fire up only the main thrusters first. We'll engage high-speed mode later."

"Okay. Let's go for a little run, shall we?" Firing up the Ritter's primary Ion Boosters, Sakura zipped around the desert floor, encircling the gargantuan Zoid currently stranded in the sand. She went about the controls modestly but the time it took her to encircle the Whale King seemed a lot shorter than usual.

"Wow!" Gerard exclaimed. "I can't say I've seen a Geno type Zoid move that fast. You might just give the Breaker a run for its money."

"For now." Zhou chuckled. "This thing still has one more trick up its sleeve if we're talking about speed."

This time, the Geno Ritter deploys the Magnessers on its legs and fired up the booster array on its back. The sudden increase caught Sakura by surprise. The Zoid was just as agile as the previous run but it had completed its circuit a lot faster.

"Wow! What just happened?" She couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised.

"Top speed is now 335 km/h. Girl, that's nearly fast enough to catch the Berserk Fuhrer." Zhou informs the pilot with a smile. "Fully boosted and you can reach up to 450 km/h."

"Faster than the J?ger huh?" Sakura muttered, impressed with her new Zoid's performance. "Well done~"

"Alright. Now for everyone's favorite part. Combat testing."

"Yep!" Gerard now steps up to the plate. His Elephander gives a loud bellow as it stomped the ground. Likewise, Sakura steers her Zoid closer until they were barely within the reach of their respective melee weapons.

"I don't want any showboating in this exercise. We are conducting this to check the Geno Ritter's combat reflexes." Zhou reminds the two pilots.

"Yes mam!" They replied almost in unison.

"Good." The scientist now goes over to Sakura's direct line. "Sakura, I've done this refurbishing with your fighting style in mind. You favor close-range combat and the Dragoon Stahls will be a perfect complement to your ability. Your armor has been improved for this reason as well. Still, be careful. "

"I'll do my best." Good. Despite the small hint of adrenaline coursing through her veins, she still had her wits about her. Gerard would be a tough opponent but she needs to beat him so Zhou's efforts are not in vain.

"Alright." The scientist flashes her a contented smile. "Let us begin!"

"Here I go!" Sakura was the first to strike. The swords of her Zoid deploy sideways and she charges the Elephander, taking care not to land a fatal hit on the Zoid. The Elephander responds by planting itself firmly on the ground and parrying with its beam sword. The two blades collided with each other yet neither seemed to be on the verge of breaking apart.

"Good. The swords are as durable as the original." The scientist noted. Glancing back at the screen, Zhou could see that the two are still locked in the same position. "Well don't just cling to each other like that. Move around or something. But be really, really careful."

Sakura backs off. This time, she tries for a quick overhead swipe that just merely misses the Elephander's head by inches while her Zoid's body arched back in order to avoid the sweep of the beam sword. A few more inches closer and both Zoids would have lost something: the left leg for the Ritter and the scalp and ears for the Elephander. The Elephander's beam sword stopped and with a mighty shove of the head, redirected it to its opponent's new position.

"Urgh!" Jerking back on the controls, the blue Tyrannosaur re-orients itself; its feet dragging along the soft sand as its own sword returned to its original position. With some quick shifts in the melee throttle, the Ritter plants its sword downwards, catching the beam sword before it could connect with its limb. The Geno Ritter roared out; the shock of the blades colliding causing it some discomfort though its own strength held nonetheless. Also, it had another advantage in the fight.

It had two swords.

With its blade still planted firmly in-between its body and the Elephander's sword, Sakura twists the Geno Ritter forward, inching closer to the Elephander. The second sword wings forward in a piercing gesture, aimed right at the elephant's cockpit in the head. Still, before she could deliver the killing blow, the Geno Ritter stopped. The whole thing after all, was merely an exercise.

"I win." Sakura declared, panting.

"So, it would seem." Gerard just sighed, sheepishly scratching his head. The Elephander's beam sword turned off as both Zoids stepped away from each other, sheathing their weapons. "I guess Ash wasn't kidding when he said you're the best pilot among us."

"Did he?" Sakura wondered. She never recalled their captain saying such things. The compliment however, caused her to blush just a little.

"Well, that's not nearly enough data." Zhou interrupted. "Can you two go for another round? And try not to end too quickly."

"Sure." Just as Gerard and Sakura positions their Zoids, sudden gunshots erupted, sending pockets of sand flying across the dunes. A couple of stray shots hits both the Elephander and the Geno Ritter but luckily, their thick armor managed to shrug it off.

"Damn! I didn't see them immediately!" Gerard grits his teeth in anger. "Look alive! A Chimera fleet is headed for us!"

"Got it!" The two Zoids immediately took up defensive positions around the downed Whale King. From up north, a platoon of blue-colored Scissorstorm and Laserstorm marched into view, supported by similarly coloured Diplo Guns. The entire fleet was led by a blue Lord Gale and a half a dozen Deantlers.

"Blue coloration. Lady Vestige huh?" Zhou noted. The jaws of the Whale King closed up to prevent its insides from being damaged even if it's just for a little while.

"Deserters! You are all charged with high treason against the Imperial Throne! The punishment is—DEATH!" A deep female voice boomed from the Lord Gale's intercom, pointing its lances at the metal elephant and tyrannosaur; the Chimera units closing in as per their orders.

"I guess you're about to get your much-needed combat data after all!"

"Attack!"

The defending Zoids roared and the Geno Ritter fires up its Magnessers; swords moving to lateral positions on its back. It was the only one to charge head on; the Elephander stayed behind to shoot at the approaching Zoids and block with its E-shield if necessary.

The battle is two against a force of over fifty Zoids. It was going to be a difficult time for the Guylos defenders.

Likewise, an equally fierce battle was taking place on the base of the cliffs leading up to Chimera Fort City. Swarms of Chimera drones marched fiercely against the Republican battalion; beams and solid gunfire erupting from all directions. The underlying military outpost was to serve as the Republican staging ground until they can establish a more secure stronghold in the jagged pass of Chimera City.

Gojulas Giga led the attack, trampling down the Scissorstorm and Laserstorm units that leapt out to engage them. The Giga unit was at a numerical disadvantage, outnumbered ten to one. Nonetheless, they stood their ground marvelously, trashing Chimera after Chimera with their laser blades and powerful jaws; their ancient titanium armor shrugging off the token gunfire the drones were returning.

The Disciplinary Force on the other hand, aimed for more important targets: The Deantlers commanding the drone army. With their defenses occupied with the Gojulas Giga, the Liger Zeroes were quick to carve a path towards them, dispatching the fragile command units with their hardened teeth and claws.

The Alexander stood guard in the skies as it waited further in the rear. The Hammer Kaiser intercepted the Flyscissors and Storches in the sky. Alta's K?nig Wolf backed them up, standing securely on the Alexander's launch pad as it sniped flying Zoid one after another, sending them down to the chaotic abyss below.

Reinforcements from a nearby base deployed, consisting mostly of older generation yet still powerful Zoids like Red Horns and Sabre Tigers. In retaliation, the four Ligers deployed to intercept them. The Blade Ligers charged in; laser blades drawn while Alyx's Liger Zero followed closely behind. With the Panzer needing repairs and reloading, Alyx had deployed in her own customised basic armor, shooting at the enemy with her small beam gatlings and shock cannons.

"Come on! I'm right here!" Janus roared out; his Blade Liger encircling for another pass at two more Sabre Tigers. He had struck them earlier though quick thinking on their pilots' part managed to let them break off, resulting only in a light gash on their Zoids' side. The Blade Liger's boosters fired, preparing to land a decisive strike once and for all.

"Alyx! I need you to support Janus!" Itsuki barks out; his Mirage Blade Liger currently grappling with a rather angry Red Horn. Kiro on the other hand, was locked in combat with a Sabre Tiger; the Dibison forced into close combat with an equally capable foe.

"Got it! Come on Zero!" The rookie yelled back, the Liger Zero changing direction to rendezvous with the black Blade Liger. As she approached however, a volley of missiles immediately shot out, aimed directly for her head. "Watch out Zero! Shoot them down!"

The Liger Zero roared, its ion boosters shooting out at full speeds. With a quick turn, the gray liger fires up its gatlings and tail laser, intercepting the incoming projectiles. "Whew!" The girl sighed in relief, wiping some sweat off her forehead. "Where did that come from?"

ROAAAARRR!

Just in front of her, a black Tiger stepped forward. It was a Great Sabre, armed with an advanced flying gear and missile pods. Its paws struck the ground, seemingly challenging Alyx to a duel. The Tiger's wing verniers drops down and it begins its charge. Left with no choice, Alyx fires up the Liger's ion boosters, meeting the fierce Tiger Zoid in close combat.

"Hiyah!" The Liger Zero leapt up, in preparation for a Strike Laser Claw attack. The Great Sabre leaps up, fangs blared to intercept. The Tiger managed to bite down the Liger's right paw, stopping the attack. With a mighty swing supported by its flying gear, it flings the blue-eyed Liger across the ground.

"Strong! Too strong probably!" Alyx coughed, her Liger Zero immediately rising up to reorient itself. The damage was manageable but the armor had caved in, causing a slight decrease in the Zoid's speed and agility. The Great Sabre immediately takes aim with its assault rifle and Alyx had to push all power she had into the Zoid's boosters in order to dodge the incoming volley.

"Alyx!" Janus' voice suddenly rings out from the intercom, his Blade Liger coming into view. Satisfied with the distance, the Great Sabre changes its target to Janus, firing its assault rifles and shock cannons at the incoming black Zoid. The Blade Liger deploys its E-shield, warding off the attacks while its boosters shot out, increasing its speed. The two black Zoids collided with each other though the Liger's shield prevented it from receiving any damage from the collision while the Great Sabre was sent flying back, components exploding in every direction.

"Not yet!" Janus immediately turns back and takes aim with his shock cannons, gazing down the cockpit of the fallen tiger through his sights but the cockpit opened up and a young man comes out, raising his hands in surrender. "Alyx! Strike the Great Sabre's leg and let's get out of here!"

Having received the orders, Alyx complied, severing the electronics leading to the core with her Liger's Strike Laser Claws. With the deed done, she turns to face Janus.

"You sure that's good enough?" The young pilot asked.

"Yeah. I mean, where is he going to go? We'll take him in for questioning later." Janus replied. "Anyway—we should meet up with Rio and the others—huh?" All the while, they were able to see each other on the intercom so Janus was visibly surprised when Alyx's face disappeared from the screen. His Blade Liger was immune to jamming thanks to the Organoid System so the problem was obviously on Alyx's end.

"Janus? Come in Janus!" Alyx tries to reboot the communications module but fails. Left with no choice, she cycled through her optional parts and fired up the Crystal array, restoring communications. When Janus' face returned on the screen however, his attention was already directed to something approaching from the left.

"Prepare yourself my friend. We have company." Janus whispered. Turning around to look, they saw a Dark Spiner headed straight for them. It approached erratically though, with any hints of aggression gone from its eyes. Its right arm was amputated, wrapped up in makeshift armor that protected its wiring and circuitry.

"The enemy captain! I'll get you this time—!" Before the Blade Liger could charge, Captain Ash immediately called out.

"I didn't come here to fight Liger pilot." Ash clarifies, shutting off the Zoid's jamming array. "I came to talk."

"Really? After what happened earlier?" Janus challenged. "Sorry if I don't believe you!"

"I'm not here to argue with you. Where is your commander?!" Captain Ash demanded. In an instant, the Mirage Blade Liger leaps out, cautiously making its way to the Dark Spiner.

"So, you're in a talking mood now?" Itsuki asked. "Or is this just a ploy to catch us off-guard?"

"Lieutenant…" Naruse tries to call out but Itsuki raises a hand to silence her for a moment.

"I want to hear it from him personally." He clarified.

"Iris Daemon is with you I presume?" Ash continued. "I wish to speak with her."

"Very well." Itsuki passes communications to the rear cockpit.

"Captain." Naruse nods in acknowledgement.

"Iris Daemon…I'll get straight to the point. I beg you to allow my troops into the alliance—if one exists. I'll shoulder all responsibility. But please…let them go home." Ash begged, bowing his head to show his sincerity.

"Good actor." Itsuki complimented with much sarcasm. "You almost got me convinced."

"Lieutenant Touya is it? I understand if you don't believe me. But you can kill me later—once my troops are safely back home." Ash responded.

"I believe him Lieutenant." Naruse tries to convince Itsuki. "So…please."

The standoff between the three Ligers and the Dark Spiner was rather tense. Janus in particular, already had his guns drawn, aimed directly at the Dark Spiner's cockpit. Luckily, the arrival of a custom Sabre Tiger breaks the icy tension.

"I'll take it from here Lieutenant, miss Daemon." Colonel Schwarz intervenes, his Sabre Tiger making its way towards Ash's Zoid.

"Very well. I'll leave you to talk things over." Itsuki finally relaxes and nods, turning the Blade Liger away to return to the battlefield.

"Thank you." The Guylos colonel smiled and saluted the younger commander. When the Ligers had gone ahead, the Sabre Tiger turns back to the Dark Spiner. "It's been a while Captain Ash."

"It is good to see you again, colonel." Ash salutes the younger yet more accomplished officer. "If you're here then I suppose Iris' words about an alliance is true."

"Indeed, captain." The colonel nodded.

"In that case, I request that my soldiers be allowed to return home. They've been lied to believing they were just following orders. If you have to punish somebody, punish me instead." The Dark Spiner bows down low, seemingly accepting a strike to its cockpit. "I will not resist."

"Captain. You and I both know who we should hold accountable for this mess." Schwarz reassures the older captain. The sounds of gunfire around them reminded them that they were still embroiled in a fierce battle. Seeing this, he contacts Eleanor on the Alexander. "Permission to come aboard captain. I have a guest."

"Very well Colonel Schwarz. We'll be expecting you." Eleanor's voice rang out. A sigh of relief escaped the tense Captain Ash.

"Thank you, colonel."

"The three of us have much to discuss later."

"Yes sir!"

The outpost fell into Republican hands in less than an hour. Yet there was no time for celebration. The Liger Zeroes and the Alexander were immediately resupplied and refuelled in preparation for their blitzkrieg on Chimera Fort City in a few hours. The Fire Phoenixes were tucked in the Hammer Kaiser's flying launch pad while the Dark Spiner was secured besides the other ground Zoids, sitting comfortably in front of the custom Sabre Tiger and just beside Itsuki's Blade Liger Mirage.

"It's a lot scarier up close." Alyx noted as she stared up at the imposing Guylos Spinosaur. She felt something eerie about the Zoid's long row of teeth and the fin of sharp blades that jutted out from its back. Naruse walked up to her friend from Kalanes just as the old Guylos captain alighted from the cockpit with the support of the service elevator.

"That's Captain Ash of the Guylos Remnant force." Naruse whispered.

"So, he's Sakura's commander…"

"Yep."

The two girls caught the attention of the aging captain and he immediately walked towards them. "Iris Daemon…"

"Captain." Naruse curtsied. Alyx on the other hand, still found it weird, listening to others call Naruse by her real name.

"Captain Ash." Colonel Schwarz now calls out, having alighted from his own Sabre Tiger. "I think we are ready to talk things over now."

"Very well."

"Lieutenant?" Schwarz calls Itsuki over in order to escort the Guylos captain. The three men walked towards the elevator leading up to the Hammer Kaiser's conference room. Itsuki of course, obliged.

"Wait—!" Alyx calls over, forgetting her manners for a moment. "I-Is Sakura alright captain?!"

"Ah! So, you're the Alyx girl from Kalanes." Ash turns back to the young pilot. "Sakura has mentioned you on occasion."

"Y-Yes. I'm Alyx Ledesma. A mercenary of sorts, I suppose." Alyx replied. "Is Sakura holding up alright?"

Looking her in the eyes, Ash just sighed. "She just lost both of her friends in the harbor skirmish a few hours ago. She's in really bad shape right now."

"I see…" Alyx trailed off, unsure of what to say.

"She's very fond of you kid." Ash nodded. The elevator arrived and the three men vanished inside it, headed up to discuss matters with Eleanor. Seeing the concerned expression on Alyx's face, Rio immediately walked over to comfort her.

"Hey, you okay?" She asked.

"Yeah. I'm just worried about Sakura. It sounds like she has it pretty bad." Alyx sighed, feeling lots of concern for her distant friend whom she pushed away.

"It's going to be fine. You can't be too pessimistic right now. It's not good." Rio runs her fingers through Alyx's snow-colored hair. "Plus, you're going to get some permanent wrinkles."

"Hehehe!" Alyx giggled. "Thanks, I'll try."

Naruse slides up to her side, taking Alyx's hand in hers, causing Alyx to look back. As their eyes met, Naruse flashes her a warm smile. "It'll be alright. I'm sure of it."

As the three girls shared a moment with each other, the two boys passed by with the mercenary Alta. Kiro and Janus seemed to be arguing among themselves. "You've been out of it for five hours man!" Janus yells out, slapping Kiro on the back. "Spit it out already!"

"I told you! I feel like I've forgotten something!" Kiro shoots back. "And I can't seem to figure out what!"

"What's going on here?" Alta asked.

"I don't know! I'm just asking how he's holding up and he's been walking around and scratching his head for the past few hours!" Janus explained.

"Miss Alta! It-It's nothing, I'm just trying to recall something."

CLANG! CLANG!

The sound of metal being struck echoed weakly across the reasonably quiet hangar, catching the attention of the three pilots. The Dibison shifted just a little, seemingly drawing attention to its rear cockpit. Suspecting an intruder, Alta draws her pistol and creeps up to investigate. Janus followed suit, taking a rifle from the infantry weapons rack. Kiro on the other hand, wondered why it would be coming from the Dibison in particular.

"Oh!" The boy's face now lights up as it dawned on him. He had taken a prisoner during the harbor battle. Lacking any proper means to apprehend her, he had tied her up and shoved her in the spare cockpit and forgot about her for over ten hours.

"Oh no! Janus! Miss Alta! I remember now!"

"I have to say, I have never, ever felt so humiliated in my entire life!" The catty pilot, Vishna whined as she slipped on some clean clothes loaned to her. Being stuck inside the hot cockpit for over ten hours had drenched her body completely and so Alta had to wash her down before bringing her in. It also allowed her to check for any arsenals hidden on her body. A small curtain separated her from the male pilot assigned to keep watch over her though her body's slim outline could still be seen as a shadow on the white sheet. Watching her change, Kiro gulped down. Admittedly, he did find her somewhat cute especially when she gets mad.

"Well? What now?!" Vishna asked, having already stepped out of the curtain. Her hair was still a little damp with strands clinging to the side of her face as she stared at the taller pilot with her arms crossed over her chest.

"A-Ah, yeah! Well, follow me." Kiro was about to leave before he turned back, taking out cuffs from his belt. "R-Right, I need to cuff you. You don't mind, do you?"

"Hmm…" Left with no choice, Vishna places both hands on her back as the young Republican pilot places the metal restraints. "You're new to this aren't you?"

"Somewhat. I don't normally take prisoners." Kiro replied, having finished cuffing the shorter girl. "You're the first one who ever surrendered to me. Everyone all fought to the death."

Hearing these words insulted Vishna who gritted her teeth and clicked her tongue. "Dammit! I guess that makes me a total coward huh?"

"Well, I don't blame you." Kiro chuckled. "I'd say you charging me even if you've been ordered to retreat in order to buy time for your allies is a brave act. I guess it's alright to give you another shot at life."

"Why? I'm your enemy, remember?" Vishna asked, keeping her usual catty tone.

"Not necessarily." Kiro replied. They were now walking towards the conference room where the meeting was being held.

"Hmm…" Vishna snickered, shooting Kiro a funny look as she grinned. "Are you one of those idealists? Like those anti-war activists or something? Why join the military then?"

"No, really." Kiro shoots back with an odd expression. "Long story but apparently…you and me are supposed to be allies." He answered, pointing a finger at himself while keeping another hand on Vishna's wrist.

"Huh? I don't get you." Vishna asked, puzzled.

"I'm sure the captain can explain it better than I can. Oh, we're here." Kiro rings up Eleanor though he kept his head low out of embarrassment.

"What is it Sergeant?" Eleanor's voice rang out.

"I have uhh…a prisoner. From last afternoon. I forgot about her…" Kiro sighed, steeling himself for the inevitable earful he's bound to get. He could almost see Eleanor rubbing her temples from behind the room.

"Tch! Bring her in then."

The doors opened and the two young pilots stepped in. One man in particular was pleasantly surprised to see the young Guylos pilot.

"Vishna!" Ash muttered, pleasantly surprised at the odd development.

"Captain? What's going on?" Vishna asked, shocked at the revelation herself.

"Well, this is an interesting development." Colonel Schwarz chuckled. Eleanor took a deep breath before turning to the sergeant.

"We'll discuss this later. Kiro, you and I need to talk." Eleanor uttered calmly but sternly.

"Yes mam." Kiro exhaled. He was in for a very long night indeed.

Writer's Note: Chapter 18 is up! And yeah, took too long again. Oddly enough, I finished this chapter a while ago. I must've forgotten to upload it.

Geno Ritter appears! Always loved this Geno variant ever since it came out. The specs I'm referencing were taken from the Iron Bible. Feel free to correct me if I got anything wrong. Anyway, the next chapter is in progress though I'm not promising any deadlines. I'll just upload them when I'm done since as you can see, I'm a bit slow with releases. Sorry!

Anyway, I hope you guys keep reading and I'll see you in the next chapter!
