"Do you know the most beautiful thing about my brilliant plan?!" Stockman cackled as he moved closer, "I used you Shredder, to turn my into the ultra-cyborg you see before you! A truly superior work of genius! But all good things must come to an end. It's time to bid you adieu!"

A mechanical claw with rocket launchers aimed right at them and fired.

"INCOMING!"

The brothers all dived to the side as the rockets blasted through wooden beams and wooden floors.

/DON! Are you guys okay?! \\ April cried out over the communicator, /I'm picking up multiple explosions! Guys? GUYS! Do you copy?! \\

As the smoke started to clear all around them, Don forced himself to move out of the way of another incoming missile.

"Can't talk right now April! Kind of busy staying alive!"

His ribs and his wrist ached terribly, the pain so bad that he felt a little sick.

He had to keep moving though, especially as beams started to collapse and Robot Stockman easily defeated the Elite Guard, flinging Shredder into a nearby wall, as he threatened to rip Hun apart.

Any scratches to the suit fixed themselves in an instant.

"What?!" The Shredder hissed.

"It's a self-healing, polymer acrylic. Just one of thirty-nine patented designs that I invented using YOUR resources! You made it all possible Shredder and didn't suspect a thing! You POMPOUS. OVERGROWN. IGNORAMOUS! But the time has come for you to be re-educated in my brilliance!"

Watching as the Shredder was flung about the room, unable to fight back, the four brothers managed to congregate back together.

"It took everything we had to defeat Shredder last time!" Raph hissed, Donnie nodding beside him.

"And Stockman just took him out in 4.5 seconds! The Shredder and Hun!"

"Which means that we can just go home now, right?" Mikey raised a hand, "Let them battle it out?"

"… And now for the freaks."

"Too late."

Stockman advanced on them, "It's most fortuitus that you're here really. You're on the list of parties responsible for recent misfortunes in my life. The charges are, ruining my genius work, interfering with my brilliant schemes and hampering my destiny as the world's foremost criminal and scientific prodigy!"

Flames shot out at them, forcing them to dive to cover as a rain of bullets followed.

Yoshi quickly found himself knocked to the ground, giant metal hands picking him up from the ground as his sons all screamed.

"DAD! NO!"

Throwing explosives at the robot, Raph managed to get Stockman to drop their Dad, allowing Leo, Mikey and Donnie to carry on with the distraction as he pulled Yoshi to safety.

They were all knocked away quickly.

"Is that all you've got!" Stockman cackled, "All those powers, useless against my brilliance!

"I have a plan." Donnie whispered to Mikey and Leo, "I can try and drain some of the power from the suit." He gestured at the hole in the middle of the floor, that went through several floors, "We still have grappling hooks, right?"

Without waiting for an answer, Donnie moved closer to the robot, knowing that without some sort of exposed wires, draining it of its power would be difficult.

If it even ran on some sort of electricity.

"You really think that's going to work?!" Stockman cackled, "You pathetic little brat!"

He didn't seem to notice the grappling hooks wrapping around his legs, Mikey shifting into a gorilla behind him.

With Leo summoning a gust of strong wind and Mikey yanking on the ropes, Stockman fell back with a scream, Mikey letting go of the ropes immediately.

THUD.

For a moment, there was silence as they all moved to stand on the edge of the hole, peering down into the darkness.

"A small, minor annoyance dealt with." Shredder hissed, "Now to take care of you five!"

They all braced themselves, only for Stockman to shoot up out of the hole.

"You insufferable nitwits! Doctor Baxter Stockman is not so easily dismissed!" He aimed and fired, flames setting the wooden floors on fire as they jumped to safety.

Leo managed to push himself off a nearby pillar, flying towards Stockman and neatly slicing through the man's robotic arm with his katana.

"My arm! No!" Stockman fired low-powered missiles at Leo, who couldn't get out of the way quick enough, the force of the explosions sending him flying into the wall with a loud THUD!

"It's nothing." Stockman hissed to himself, "Just a momentary nuisance!"

And then Shredder sliced the robotic leg off, leaving Stockman dangerously off balance. With Mikey shifted into a rhino, he charged straight for the bot, sending Stockman crashing through the windows and to the ground far, far down below.

Hopefully, that fall did the trick.

"I'm gonna miss that guy." Mikey stretched himself out, rubbing at the sore point on his head that lingered after the rhino headbutt, "NOT!"

And then remembered Shredder.

"Alright." Leo unsheathed his katana, "Let's finish this, once and for all!"

"I intend to!"

And then the second lot of windows exploded, Stockman's cackles echoing through the room.

"My internal jetpack arrays! I spared no expense!" Stockman smirked, "And why should I? After all Shredder, you were footing the bill!"

Missiles sent them flying over into different corners of the world.

"Man…" Mikey groaned, "… Can someone please just shut down that walking, talking toaster oven!" He yanked Donnie to safety, wincing at how his younger brother was having trouble moving now, "Donnie, any ideas?"

"W-we can try to pull the plug… so to speak." Donnie's voice was coming out in a wheeze, "Leo!"

Leo glanced over at them, eyes widening slightly at how pale Donnie was.

"The exo-suit's power supply! Those radium power cells on his back!"

"On it!"

"You peons stand no chance against my vastly superior intellect! Doctor Baxter Stockman shall- "

He was cut off as Leo leapt over his head, katana slicing through the pipes on his back.

Stockman hit the ground with a loud THUNK, followed by a groan.

"Finally!" Mikey sighed, "Shut him down and shut him up!"

Stockman started to push himself up.

"What do we have to do to stop this guy?!" Leo was growing more and more frustrated.

"I have asked that question many times." They all heard Saki growl behind them, making them tense up as the older man stepped closer, as Stockman continued to brag.

"That ploy might have worked against a lesser mechanoid, but as always, I am one step ahead in my design work! In addition to the centre power nodules, each component of my cyborg armour has its' own back-up, internal power source! Ha!"

Donnie's eyes fell onto the fallen arm lying just a few centimetres away. "So…" He limped over to it, "… what you're saying is that this arm…" He lifted it up as best he could, aiming the gun at the cyborg, "…should still be fully functional, right?"

Stockman turned to him… and cursed.

Forcing as much of his back-up reserves into the arm, Donnie braced himself as a missile flew out, hitting Stockman in the chest and sending him flying out of the shattered window and off into the distance.

BOOM!

Donnie no longer felt like he had the energy to move, let alone fight as the Shredder stepped forwards.

"Now. Where were we… oh yes." The Shredder suddenly spun around, kicking Mikey in the chest, sending him skidding across the floor and into the wall. Another kick sent a bellowing Raph into a nearby pillar.

And then Shredder set his sights on Donnie, who knew that there was no way he would be able to run away, not with his ribs aching and his power banks depleted. Desperately, he threw his hands over his head.

"DONATELLO!"

Yoshi came charging forwards, leaping up and kicking Saki in the face, pushing him away from his youngest. He wasn't able to react in time though, before Saki was round-kicking him in the chest, sending him crashing through the window.

"Mikey! Go!"

"On it!"

Mikey was mid-shifted, preparing to fly out of the window and catch their Father… only for someone to grab him by the tail feathers and throw him against the wall.

"NO!"

Leo was already rushing to the broken window, hands outstretched as he summoned up every bit of strength that he had, conjuring up strong winds that just managed to catch their father mid-fall.

As Mikey charged at Shredder, shifted into a rhino this time, having recovered from his own hit, Raph used a grappling hook to jump down and grab Yoshi, before the winds stopped. He managed to swing them both to safety, resting his father against the wall of the roof.

"I'll go and get Donnie." Raph stated, before his father could even say anything, "Okay, I'll get Donnie. Me, Mikey and Leo can deal with Shredder!"

But Yoshi had already passed out.

"Dammit."

…..

Leo was unwilling to deal with this any longer.

Mikey was currently a boa constrictor, trying to stop Shredder from making any slashing motions, which was not as successful as he imagined the plan to be.

Rushing over to Donnie, who was struggling to get to his feet, Leo grabbed the glove from the bag, removed the Sword of Tengu from its sheath.

Shredder stopped, eyes widening behind the helmet.

"The Sword of Tengu!" He hissed.

Leo aimed the sword at him, the blast sending Shredder flying towards a wooden bridge, shattering it as he then fell into the small lake underneath.

Silently, they all watched as he clambered out.

"This cannot be happening!" Saki growled, "I cannot lose!" He pressed an emergency button, summoning a load of Foot ninja on bladed aircrafts up to their location.

/Guys, can you here me?! \\ April cried out over the comms, /We've got a dozen or so, unidentified objects heading your way! \\

"We see them April." Donnie winced, getting to his feet, "Problem is, they see us too."

As lasers fired out at them, Leo was blasted to the side, the Sword of Tengu and the glove flying out of his grasp and into a nearby waterfall… right near Donnie.

Meanwhile, Raph had managed to knock one of the ninja off of the vehicle, zooming off to take care of the others.

Shredder headed towards the Sword… until Leo dropped down in front of him.

"Ah, Leonardo. It's a shame that you didn't join me when I gave you the chance. You could have served me well!"

"I'd rather fall in battle with honour, than serve you!"

"So be it." Was it just him, or did Saki sound disappointed, "Elite Ninja! To me!"

Four of the Elite appeared in a cloud of smoke.

"Finish this!"

….

Raph cackled as Eagle Mikey swooped in to pick his pursuers up off their vehicles and drop them to the ground far below.

"Is that all of them?" Receiving an affirmative nod, Raph directed them back to the rooftop garden, "We need to get Donnie to safety! This is getting out of control!"

Knowing that Mikey had that under control, Raph sent two vehicles flying into each other, the wreckage falling to the ground, sending Shredder diving for cover. Raph then landed next to Leo, facing off against the Elite.

"Save some for me!"

"I can handle this!"

"I know!" Raph pulled projectiles out of his pocket, "But where's the fun in that? Family finishes things together and you know it." He charged the projectiles, throwing them directly at the Elite. Whilst they were confused and distracted, Leo leapt towards them.

….

"The Sword!" Saki's eyes scanned the area he'd last seen it, "I must have it."

And then he saw a flash of purple hair.

Donnie quickly shoved the glove onto his hand and grabbed the sword, knowing that he didn't have the strength to go through an over-load like before.

"You little fools!" He watched as Saki got to his feet, "This is my fortress! My stronghold! You really believe you can defeat me here?!" He twisted something on a nearby statue, part of the floor sliding back as a platform rose up to replace it…. Covered in foot ninja.

"Oh, give me a break!" He heard Mikey caw from above, prompting him to look up.

There was no way he was going to make it to his brothers.

Maybe he could help another way though.

…..

"Well, no-one said this was going to be easy." Raph muttered to Leo, "You and me can take them, right?"

"Mikey?"

"Getting Donnie."

Leo nodded in understanding, tensing to dart forwards… only for a man in a trench coat to drop down in front of them.

"Easy, no." The man smirked, "But maybe we can offer you a helping hand?"

"… We?"

As if on cue, several more, similarly dressed men dropped down beside him, pulling blue, glowing swords out from their coats.

"We have to stop the Shredder from getting the Sword of Tengu!" The first man stated, "Go! We can take care of these men."

"… Thank you."

Leo and Raph rushed over to where Leo had last seen the sword, only to see Shredder advancing on Donnie.

"GIVE ME THE SWORD!"

"MIKEY!" Leo cried out, hearing a caw from above as Mikey dived down, shifting into a tiger mid-dive and landing in front of his brother, growling loudly as Shredder took another step closer.

Sensing that he wasn't going to get anywhere by taking the aggressive approach, Saki stopped, eyes falling on Donnie.

"Why are you wearing the glove?" He asked, voice lowering to sound almost soft, "I know your powers… think about how strong you could be if you just swapped hands?"

Donnie shook his head, even as the Shredder continued.

"That sword has laid villages to waste… crumbled castles to the ground… destroyed armies. It was used to conquer Japan! Think of what you could be!"

Donnie glanced down at the sword.

"I-I just want to be happy." He whispered, a look of determination flashing across his face as he threw the sword up into the air, followed by the glove, "LEO! NOW!"

Shredder moved to jump after it, only to be tackled to the ground by Tiger Mikey, giving Leo the chance to grab the glove and sword.

Mikey was thrown to the side, Saki only just managing to roll to the side to avoid being beheaded as Leo stabbed the sword into the ground.

The power shifted once again.

The pair faced off against one another, Shredder having picked up Leo's katana's that he'd dropped to the ground.

Grips flexed on the hilts, before they were leaping up at each other, swords clanking against each other as they slashed at their opponent, landing with their backs to one another.

There was a moment of silence, before Saki dropped to the ground, a dark pool of blood spreading out from underneath him. Cautiously, Leo headed over to the body, sheathing the Sword of Tengu, before picking up his own katana.

Saki was dead.

Nobody could survive having their throat slit like that.

"He-he's dead." Donnie whispered, knowing that April could hear him, "Saki's dead."

April and Casey could be heard cheering over the communicator

"Donnie?"

Donnie looked up, to see Leo standing over him. Gently, he was helped to his feet, Raph moving to his other side in order to support him.

"We need to make sure the Foot can never use this building again." Raph muttered, "Think you can do something with Stockman's robot arm?"

"I-I think so?"

Carefully, they helped Donnie over to the arm in question, lowing him down so that he could have a better look.

"Stockman's radium power cells, combined with the power of the Sword of Tengu…" Donnie gestured over to the generator, handing the loose wires to Raph, "… should fry most of the tech in this building. Just plug those wires into the fuse box Raphie!"

Raph did as he was told, prompting Donnie to gesture to Leo.

"Go!"

Making sure Donnie was a safe distance away, Leo charged up the sword and stabbed it into the robotic arm, quickly backing away as the power shot through the wires, electricity crackling all around them as the building over-loaded.

With a crackle and a pop, it was soon over.

"Right, let's get Dad and get out of here." Leo sighed, "Raph, whereabouts did you leave him?"

"Follow me."

With Mikey carrying Donnie on his back, they headed to the last place Raph had seen their Father… only to find his walking stick.

"What the hell?!" Raph stormed over to the stick, picking it up and frowning, "I-I don't understand… I left him right here! Saki had cracked his ribs, he was in no shape to move!"

"How could he be gone though?!"

And then they heard the sirens.

"We can't stay here." Leo sighed, "We have to go." He eyed up the helicopter a short distance away, "Donnie, do you think you can hot-wire that?"

"I-I can try?"

Donnie was on the verge of passing out, and they all knew it.

Mikey carried him over to the helicopter, as Leo picked their Father's stick up off the ground.

Within mere moments, they were flying away from the now-burning building.

"We did it…" Raph muttered, "… We defeated the Shredder. We avenged Mum."

"I can't help but feel like the price was too high though."

"You don't think… you don't think Dad's dead, so you?"

Leo shrugged in response to Mikey's question, "I don't know Mikey… I truly don't know."

As they flew away, none of them were aware of the figures making their way over to Saki's body.
