Title: Her name… Yumi, the sacred.
Yumi (the human) x Hiroyasu

In the city, Yumi looked for a sense of pity within herself to understand what happened. She did say no again.

She phoned home. "Mum, I'll be home at eight tonight."

It was three in the afternoon.

She saw herself in the dressing room mirror. She walked into it somehow. And she saw her reflection making her dizzy. The reflection that walked in made her realized her parallel life was another robot. In it. She walked right into the robot's life.

She enjoyed the pants she tried on. She felt at ease but realizing something she should know somehow still but not really, she thought. Her lively image was with him. Her dead image was also with him.

Hiroyasu took her rejection and realized his robot was Yumi's nightmare. Yumi said there was a ghost in her closet.

The image in her eyes was a robot perfect for him.

She realized her body was the perfect shape and her eyes were bright and her hair always in a better curl than her.

The problem was, she knew she was not a soul, but her desire was becoming that. So she could be perfect… She knew, in order to finish her dream. But she also realized, she really just wanted to better herself. To him, the soul was not that important, she thought. She smiled. She knew.

So much now, she knew there was a complex, a complicated problem for her soul.

She began to ignore Hiroyasu.

She began to dance in her room. She knew she was happy for that she began to dress better. Except, she knew, that was the problem… she wanted to shine more than that robot. She knew it was insecurity.

"Did you hate her…? She was the worshipping object." She asked a bit earlier that year.

He seemed to give some thought but smiled bitterly. "Only objects can truly not betray." He knew he was like a cheating husband to her. He was more than ten years older than her.

She smiled. She knew he loved her.

He smiled. "I rather her not be my first."

He then said. "She never rejected me."

She smiled. "You were with a robot."

She hoped that he would be just a robot. He knew he wanted a robot. Love is too uncertain.

The face of the robot was what she wanted to worship. She thought the robot looked like a chobit. She wished she could witness a chobit. Somehow, they walked by. It was like Chi was a chobits but she realized she should not guess too much.

The unconditional love he had for her was what for a unbetrayable object. Yumi realized she was a person. She knew she should understand what it meant to be absolutely loyal. But she could not. There was always the path to the cookies' house. Bread was not enough. Cakes were too much.

She knew. She would always walk away from him.

"The hearts we gave," she whispered to the computer screen. She smiled. They did realize they just did not want to love.

She knew she did not love him, but she knew she should.

She smiled at her mirror image. That Yumi did not look like her. Yumis were never pretty. What made them tied was nothing. But the thing was… no one expressed dislikes in their appearances. Perhaps it was because Yumi was never shameless enough to ask for them. But they did look good enough.

They both smiled at everyone.

And somehow, they were loved. And appearances were never important.

She knew she was a loner for she could not love any man that way. Anyone would tell her she looked homely and she would tell them maybe that was why. She never cared but wanting to jump slightly happier.

She looked at the bot. She was happy. She felt she could just be one person.

It was good bye. They both knew.

He could not love any woman that way too.
