The Final Four: He Disappears

There was silence. Ching froze in one spot while everybody else looked at him in surprise. Zen looked up to the sky with hands behind his head.

" Good job Ching" he said excited. He turned and smiled.

Ching looked at him in disbelief. He ran to Elder Xiou wanting an explanation.

"How?", Ching asked. "It was suppose to be Zen, not me"

Elder Xiou turned away dragging his long robes on the pavement. "Training starts tomorrow" he said. "Dismissed".

Zen walked up to him slowly.

"I'm sorry Zen tried to convince him it was you" Ching sobbed

"Naw man." Zen replied. "You deserved it. Its your destiny"

He lightly punched him on the shoulder. "Besides", he continued. " I'm still better."

Ching laughed, " Whatever".

The two headed to their rooms , but later that day Zen would get another surprise. Just as the two were still talking in their rooms, a man appeared in front of the masters. He wore a long, black fur coat. His long hair almost touched his thighs. Master Hiro greeted him open arms.

" Its good to see you son" he said smiling.

The man held Master Hiro shoulders. "Its good to see you father" he whispered.

"So Sanji, are you finally ok?" Master Hiro asked

"Damn, I haven't you heard you say my name in a long time" he laughed. " I'm fine"

Master Hiro waved to the other masters to leave. He started to pace.

"Why are you here?" he asked

" I want my son" Sanji said softly.

Master Hiro closed his eyes and took a deep breath. " I can't let you have him, son"

" I knew you would say that" he bursted. " I learned a lot in that crazy prison".

The room turned dark out of a sudden. Sanji began levitating forming a green energy ball. He shoot it at his dad.

Master Hiro blasted back hitting the wall. He struggled getting up.

" You learned the evil arts?" Master Hiro asked. "You fool"

" I'll be taking my son" he replied.

Zen left Chings room not noticing the dark ambiance. Then Sanji teleported out of the shadows.

"Dad?" Zen said excitingly. His inner twelve year old ran up to hug his father.

"I missed you so much" Sanji whispered. " Go grab your things, we're leaving"

"Really dad?" he smiled.

" Just go and hurry up" he laughed.

Ching saw them through his window. Zen bursted through the door, quickly putting his clothes in a bag.

"Where are you going Zen?" Ching asked

Zen stopped moving and faced his cousin.

"I'm leaving with my dad" he replied

"Can I come?" Ching asked. " I want to go with you"

"You can't" Zen said softly. "I'm sorry"

Ching got up from him bed and held Zen arm.

"Please don't go Zen, you're my best friend" he cried.

Zen punched him in the gut.

"Ow Zen. Why?" he teared up.

" I can't have you mess up your destiny" Zen replied. "I'll see you again"

Zen left the room with his bag. Ching watched his only friend walk out of his life. The father and son disappeared into the dark.
