A revamped version of a summary, but still a shitty one nonetheless HAHA. Do forgive the bad summary and the slight tweak of the title name because boy, did I NOT know how to spell multiple things in the past haha… Anyways!

For those that have read my story before my years-long hiatus: Thank you all so very much for coming back when you got alerted that I am finally updating once again :') I feel shameful for stopping uploads for so many years… BUT NOW, I'm finally back and I'll do my best to write whenever I get time to! I wish for you all to continue being patient with me (I'll understand if you don't because I'm such a shit head) and I hope you enjoy this brand-new writing style of mine! Disclaimer: MinWrites do not own anything related or relatively close to Spirited Away. There will be grammatical errors, cringe-worthy writing and slight coarse language (in future chapters, definitely)

A fog, thick and hazy conceals me in a tight embrace, blurring my sight... Where am I? I tried to squint and look past the fog, but it was to no avail.

"Will we meet again?" I uttered out without intending to, causing a soft gasp to escape my lips, my hands hovering over my mouth.

"Of course we will."

Among all the confusion and bewilderment, I felt, least expected someone to answer me back. Heck, who would enter this thick, smouldering fog willingly. Being taken aback by the response, I flinched. It was a boy's voice; calm and soft. He seemed completely used to the fog and didn't give a care about this strange, unsightly place. As convincing as this stranger's voice was, I still felt paranoid, eyes darting from corner to corner as I tried to figure out my current location.

Once again, my tongue acted as though it had a mind of its own. Before I knew it, I mouthed a word I never thought I would. "Promise?" The tone of my voice was high and eager, as though I really wanted to make this promise to this... person.

"Promise."

Suddenly, the air begins to stir and the fog begins to clear, and in the midst of the confusion, I hear his voice again, "Now go, and don't look back." The mist that was once smothering me suddenly parted, and in front of me stood a still figure staring back at me. My vision began to focus until I finally realized the person that I had been talking to was a beautiful dark-haired boy with startling green eyes that seemed to melt into my ugly brown ones. I gaped at him, wondering who this strange, handsome boy was. Why was he talking to me?

What was he doing here with me in this weird place and why was he talking to me as if he'd known me all his life?

"Who are you?" I cried out.

My unending questions were never answered. Suddenly, I felt a strong pull causing me to tumble. As I was being whisked back, the boy began to fade into transparent nothingness. I was suddenly desperate, grasping at the air in front of me, trying my hardest to move forward.

There was an urge in me that wanted to stay close to the boy for some reason. It was almost as if he seemed to know me and vice versa.

Brightness surrounded me in a pool of light and I choked back a gasp. I wasn't sure why, but I started to feel myself floating and became more aware of where I really was. It seems too unreal…

Despite all these, I was still determined to follow this boy. He was beginning to fade out of my view, and I wanted to reach him. I wanted to call out to him, and that's exactly what I did as I began to wake up from my dream, "Wait for me!"

"Wait? For whom?" My teacher questioned with both of her arms crossed.

I froze and reality started to sink in. I was on both my feet, an arm stretched outwards to the front, which is coincidentally where my teacher stood. I panicked with my mouth opening and closing, but with no sound articulated out. She turned her back on me, resuming her writings on the whiteboard as she used her free hand to wave me off.

I could feel the heat creep up my face as I shifted stiffly back to my seat, plopping myself down. My ever-encouraging class roared in laughter as I slumped down lower, flushed fully red with embarrassment. After the laughter died down, my Mathematics teacher cleared her throat and resumed teaching.

My best friend, Angel, playfully nudged my shoulder to catch my attention.

"Wow girl, didn't know you had it in you to boldly fall asleep in class~ What's up with the whole 'wait for me!' thing? Come on, fill me up on the juicy details in your dream!" She snickered as she half-whispered to me, earning herself my half-hearted smile.

"I tried to stay awake but I already know the solution to that problem Ms Hosashi was explaining. About the dream... I'll update you during lunch time."

She nodded to me before focusing her attention back to the board. Sighing to myself, I laid my head on the table and my thoughts drifted back to the magical yet mystical dreams I've had over the past couple of weeks.

Another quarter of an hour passed and the loud bells signalled the time for lunch. As the chattering in the classroom resumed after Ms Hosashi left, I dug into my disgustingly pink and furry backpack for my lunch box. Angel popped by my seat, one hand using my table to support her weight as she watched me.

"Chop chop! We ain't got much time for lunch. I want to hear about all the weird dreams you've been having for the past few weeks already! I've been in suspense for far too long."

I stood up after grabbing what I needed and beckoned Angel to follow along, which she gladly complied to. Together, we walked side by side towards our favourite area of the school's compound.

As we showed up closer to our destination, Angel let out an exhilarating gasp.

"Just look at this place! It's as beautiful as the previous time we've been here. Heck, it's even more beautiful with all the blossom petals around!" She whispered in awe, eyes deadlocked on the pink petals gliding their way through the air, making their way onto the lime coloured grass below.

Smiling at her remark, I looked around and took in the magnificent scenery before me, inhaling deeply before letting it out. I called out to her as I plopped myself down comfortably in the shade cast by the Sakura tree, patting the spot next to me. With a graceful turn, Angel sat beside me and took out her lunch. I followed, doing so with my lunch as well. With anticipation, I pried open my packed lunch, grinning when I saw the contents in it.

Tomato Pasta and mango milk; You know the way to my stomach mum!

"Ooooo, look at you with your pasta and milk~ I, on the other hand, have been graced with two chicken pies and strawberry juice." Commented Angel as she nibbled the pie's edge off.

"So, ready to take me on a ride with your dream stories? ~" Sung Angel with her back leaned against the old bark of a tree. With that, I chuckled quietly to myself at how impatient Angel can get at times, before scooting closer beside her. I took a gulp of the milk I had in hand and the dreams I've had began to flow out of my mouth naturally. I described all the scenery I saw like the red concrete building near my place to the interactions I've had with others, including the meeting of that mysterious boy with shoulder-length hair and beautiful emerald eyes.

Angel was intrigued at the mention of the building, as we both went there to chill and hang out multiple times before, but she kept mum and continued to listen to my story-telling.

When I finished describing all the details I could remember about the dreams I've had, I started to chow and downed my pasta more quickly than usual. I couldn't bear to not finish the lunch my mother woke up early to prepare for.

Angel, on the other hand, stopped eating and rubbed her chin, deep in thought.

"It all began when you dreamt of that red building thingy near your place and it continued on to a second dream of your parents turning into... Pigs right?"

I nodded, feeling a bit hesitant as it's not often that you get to see Angel being so seriously in thought. She then took a huge bite out of her pie and gulped down her strawberry juice before continuing.

"After which, you dreamt of a translucent dark figure with a mask and a boy with stunning features? Well… It's kind of concerning how you dreamt of your parents turning into pigs but," she raised both her hands half into the air, shrugging her shoulders as if to say she wouldn't judge.

What a liar...

I hit her playfully on the thigh and she yelped, rubbing the sore spot as she laughed, me joining in right after. After a few seconds of goofing around, she cleared her throat and that got us back into a more serious mood.

"It is said that you can only dream of things you've seen before. Our brain is unable to create images that we haven't seen before… Did you go on a horror movie binge recently or something?" I furrowed my eyebrows, thinking hard about the last time I watched a horror movie.

"None of those characters were in any of the movies I've watched and it has been literal months since I last saw a horror film. Are you sure about the brain thing…?"

I questioned, a little shaken from the thought of how these images could have come across my mind. Seeing how I was slightly disoriented from what she mentioned, Angel gently rubbed the back of my shoulders as she spoke in a very comforting tone.

"It's alright, it's probably your imagination running wild! Don't worry about this too much okay? The dreams will eventually go away and be replaced with good ones, like me being inside them."

I grinned and held my hand to my lips in an attempt to muffle my laugh at her last sentence. As if on cue, the loud bells rang before Angel could confront me about my laughter towards her.

"Come on silly, let's head back to class!" I exclaimed, dusting my skirt as I stood up and began to leave the premise. Before I knew it, Angel dashed ahead of me, to which I followed suit. As the rows of the classroom started to enter my field of vision, I recalled the things Angel mentioned and inwardly sighed.

"Today is definitely going to be a long day."
