A/N: Ah, it's been five years since I've updated this fanfic. *cue nervous laughter* But I'm back to writing this story in order to give all the characters here a proper send off toward their endings. And here's chappie 26 where fluff ensues!

Chapter 26

Anything could go wrong.

Everything could go wrong. I'm the stupid girl that kissed a boy from another world. And liked it.

I had left everyone on bad terms. I'm probably not making the situation any better for myself because I'm ignoring Korin.

Korin, who's supported me through so many awful decisions.

All of this desperation over a frantic phone call form my best friend.

Even if the Saturdays are tech savvy, who knows if they have the technology that's needed for a portal. I got into this world by magic.

I sometimes travel through this world through my own power, the power of tiny batwings.

Tiny batwings that make the skin near my shoulder blades super sensitive.

If Zak kissed me there, I'd melt.

And I'm sidetracking. Lovely. Melty affectionate kisses are supposed to be the last thing on my mind.

"What's wrong?"

"Aw, is the little sorceress afraid of-"

"Fuck off, Calypso."

"…You look frantic. Just… calm down, okay?" Zak pointed out softly as he settled his hands on Jasmine's shoulders.

"…Aren't you supposed to be upset?" Jasmine asked.

"I've had to deal with worse. I mean, you do know that my world's turned completely upside down and my parents are too busy with their honeymoon to come back and check everything."

Jasmine smiled.

"You don't mean that. You miss them."

"Parents. You don't get a choice whether you miss 'em or not."

"That's kinda wise. Comin' from you."

"See? I'm helpful."

"Do portals exist in this world?"

Jasmine bit her lip as she saw the confused look on Zak's face.

"…It's okay. You can say no."

"Why would you even need a portal?"

Jasmine glances in Zak's direction with a questioning look in her eyes.

Hands on my waist and flirting… At least the way he's talking kinda makes me think that he's trying to flirt.

"To go home."

"…Uh, is that such a good idea? Apparently, Calypso says that you need to say here. You're good at giving advice and you're supposed to be always available for him so-"

"…You've never liked me so quit acting as if I suddenly interest you."

Jasmine heaved a sigh and passed a hand through her hair as she saw the surprised look on Makenzie's face.

"I was just trying to-"

"…You're making things overly complicated. Or do I only interest you because of how the boy you're romantically interested in has his arms around my waist?"

I wasn't opposed to Zak's hands around my waist. I'm just a horrible person that's having too much fun seeing all the girls look uncomfortable because of how a boy is more interested in me and not them.

It's fun seeing uncomfortable.

But I'm losing focus- losing track of how I wanted…

It's sudden but his lips are against mine. His hold on my hips gets tighter. I stand on the tips of my toes and sink my hands into his hair.

I'm being stupid.

Unguarded.

I just heard myself moan into a kiss.

Augh, I'm a mess.

My heart's been captured. Trapped and in sync with a boy from another world.

I can only stare back into his dark eyes and curse how my blushing face is too obvious to hide once that kiss, well, more like multiple kisses were…

Multiple kisses were broken, ended, finito.

"Now you don't have the need to feel jealous. My kisses are yours. I'm yours."

"Thanks for ruining my goal of focusing."

Zak only laughed and squeezed Jasmine's hips a little tighter.

"…I could kiss you again."

"…You're going to have to learn something else with me. Something other than kisses." Jasmine whispered softly with a smirk.

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"I hope you're ready to experience the unpredictable."

"My parents study cryptids for a living. I think I can handle anything you may have up your sleeve."

"Well, I hope the supernatural is something you can handle."
