Disclaimer- Dont own Jimmy, or anything except his mom, and blah. first fanfic, so y'know.

"This place is fucking shit." Jimmy spat out at his mom, he was exasperated, stressed, and sick of it. He was stuck in a town, stuck to be dubbed different, crazy, and satanic because he was the only non catholic in his family and had a big attitude and a big mouth, all he did was preach honesty. He was sick of getting called a liar, a hallucinator and a dreamer, just because he was 17. He would make these people see sense.

"What's wrong?" Jimmy's mother asked, rolling up her sleeves to her elbows, as she peeled potatoes. Jimmy threw up his arms."This!" He nearly yelled."What's so bad?" She glanced at him, blonde hair and blue eyes unmatching to his bright green eyes and spikey black hair, he got his looks from his father.

"It's all shit." He leaned against the countertop and counted his fingers."language." His mother reminded him. "Give up on that." He muttered."What was that?" She was focused on her fucking potatoes, and that pissed Jimmy off. Fucking potatoes than her son. Alright."It all sucks here, it's all the same. Do you ever realize how much of a lie it is?" This was an argument he had had many times with her mom, trying to get her to see past the mirage of the live they where living.

They where in a town in the middle of nowhere, shitty, boring town called Rodeo, the only interesting thing you'd see is a car passing. That was it. All these people where perfect, followed some routine, Jimmy had too, until he had found reality. His friend, Will, introduced him to punk rock. That changed his views on everything and realized how shit it really was.

"It's all boring, there's nothing to do, you're making me grow up with no life, just school, then come home, sit around and do nothing." He groaned and sat in a chair, burying his face in his hands."Jim- You can move out y'know." That's what he wanted to do, he wanted to see if he can change his mom before he did."All your friends are fucking idiots." He tried. She turned around and flicked a piece of potato at him, he glared."My friends are not idiots." He groaned."Why do they all act the same, gossip about nothing, follow the same trends, and if you try to argue, it's hard. They're like brainwashed or something." His foot was falling asleep.

His mom put the potatoes in the fryer and shrugged."It's life, you'll think differently when you're older." She pursed her lips. Yeah, totally, I'll let my self be a fucking idiot, was Jimmy's thought, as he got up, and stormed into his room and slammed the door.

Jimmy's room was home within a home, his room was painted, had a few posters and his guitar. He wanted to go live in the city, and that's what he was doing at the moment, before his stepdad, Brad came home. Grabbing a few of his clothes and shoving them into a backpack, he put his guitar in his case and climbed through his window, he wasn't living in this hell of a town anymore.
