The following is from a review by a very good friend of mine as a message to me and all who suffer from flamers, bullies and bashers;

"I am getting sick and tried of these bullies. In fact I hate them. They already have made some writer that I like leave this site.

THEY ARE NOTHING BUT BULLIES AND COWARDS WHO GET OFF ON MAKING THE WRITERS MAD OR MAKING THE WRITER LEAVE THE SITE. GOD I HATE WHEN THEY WIN LIKE THAT.

I am not mad at you. The rant is me supporting you and all the writer out there. I will tell you one thing. that if I do not like your stories and other writer stories. I would never tell you or the other writers that there doing a bad job or you are not following the time line or how you write your characters For God sakes it fanfiction. That means you and the other writer can write what you all want to write.

I have a favour to ask you. It is from my owe experience that if you and all the other write just ignore these a*holes. These Bullies and cowards then they will see that they will not win. these bullies and cowards will run with there tails between there legs. What I am asking you to do is to send this message to all the writer that you know. I do not want to see an other awesome writer like you leave this site and there stories unfinish because of these bullies and cowards."

A girl and guy were speeding over 100mph on a motorcycle

Girl: Slow down, I'm scared!

Guy: No, this is fun.

Girl: No, it's not. Please, I'm scared.

Guy: Then tell me you love me.

Girl: I love you, now slow down!

Guy: Now give me a big hug.

She gives him a big hug

Guy: Can you take off my helmet and put it on yourself, it's bothering me.

In the newspaper the next day, a motorcycle had crashed into a building because of brake failure. Two people were on it and only one survived. The truth was that halfway down the road, the guy realized his brake wasn't working, but he didn't want the girl to know. Instead he had her hug him and tell him one last time that she loved him. Then he had her put on his helmet so that she would live even if he died.

Copy this into your profile if you would do this for someone you love.

Favourite Quotes: "If you don't like it...DON'T READ IT!" DZ2 and all others like him who are sick of people putting down good work; Fanfiction

"There is no good and evil; there is only power and those too weak to seek it!" Voldemort; Philosopher's Stone

"He was their friend, and he betrayed them. He was their friend! I hope he finds me! Cause when he does, I'm gonna be ready. When he does, I'm gonna kill him!" Harry Potter: Prisoner of Azkaban

"I will follow you to hell and back. I will do whatever you ask and your enemies shall be mine." Atton: Knights of the Old Republic II

"You're always sorry, Charles. And there's always a speech. But nobody cares anymore." Erik Lehnsherr: X-Men Dark Phoenix

"I believe that true focus lies somewhere between rage and serenity. There is so much more to you than you know. Not just pain and anger. There is good, too. I felt it. When you can access all of that, you will possess a power no one can match. Not even me." Charles Xavier: X-Men First Class

Favourite Speeches: "I've never felt so much power!"

"And you shall have even more! But first, you must prove your loyalty to me."

"I'm listening..." Alex O Connell and Imhotep: The Mummy; the Animated Series

"I want you to listen to me very carefully, Harry. You're not a bad person. You're a very good person, who bad things have happened to. Besides, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are." Sirius Black: Order of the Phoenix

"Sooner or later, we all go through a crucible. I'm guessing yours was that island. Most believe there are two types of people who go into a crucible. The ones who become stronger from the experience and survive it, and the ones who die. But there's a third type. The ones who learn to love the fire and choose to stay in their crucible because it's easier to embrace the pain when it's all you know anymore." Sebastian Blood: Arrow

"Kneel before me. I said...KNEEL! Is not this simpler? Is this not your natural state? It's the unspoken truth of humanity that you crave subjugation. The bright lure of freedom diminishes your life's joy in a mad scramble for power. For identity. You were made to be ruled. In the end, you will always kneel." Loki: Avengers Assemble

"So many Rangers. So much potential. Squandered for so long. It is time to set things right. We will invade their worlds. Tear down anything that might protect them. And then, when it's too late, when they're powerless and alone: they will realise the truth. They could have been gods!" Lord Drakkon: Power Rangers: Shattered Grid

"The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord approaches. Born to those who have thrice defied him, born as the seventh month dies. And the Dark Lord will mark him as his equal, but he will have power the Dark Lord knows not. And either must die at the hand of the other for neither can live while the other survives. The one with the power to vanquish the Dark Lord will be born as the seventh month dies." Trelawney's "Prophecy" Harry Potter;

My Top 10 Peeves with Reviewers:

1) Pairings: The pairing is MY choice, not yours: I'm not forcing you to read the story, am I? No, I am not! So, if you don't like the pairing, you shouldn't feel the need to leave a review expressing that dislike because it's just a waste of words and a perfectly-good review. As for stories I label TBD - to be determined - whether that's a pairing with Harry or anyone else, it's because I haven't decided on a pairing. Nine times out of ten, that's because I don't think the pairing is the centre of the story itself and is more a sub-plot with the whole thing, so when you get to later chapters and see what a pairing might be decided as, I'd hope you can at least respect my decision for what it is: my decision!

2) Portrayals: Whether it's how I'm writing the character OR my little ANs about actors/actresses I see when coming up with said characters, this one just makes me laugh. My ideas of portrayals are NOT actual portrayals. I'm not writing a screenplay, guys; I'm writing Fanfiction and part of Fanfiction is portraying characters as the writer envisions them; you have your own ideas? Good for you, but I have mine and if that's who I imagine, that's my choice.

Also, I write my characters as I wish to write them: mature? Fine; less...well less than they were in canon? All right; Different personalities, ways of speaking, magic, knowledge, understanding, addressing others? THAT'S MY CHOICE!

3) Ignoring the bleeding obvious: Now, this one's more a funny one as it's something that makes me laugh: when people ask questions about things that have been revealed/described/talked about already in the story. Seriously, are you just reviewing to put one more notch on my scoreboard?

4) 'This is how I would have done it' or something like that: Well, then: go and DO IT! That's what this site's for, after all

5) Asking for content: Now, like my pairings point, this is all MY decision to write what I want to write for stories and if I'd like ideas/suggestions, I'll ask and, I admit, sometimes, I see things in reviews that DO inspire me and I'll let whoever offered the idea know that. Then I'll give credit for them should I decide to go ahead and use what they've offered, but when you flat-out ask for things and suggest my ideas don't work, that's just insulting.

Like it says with Point 4: got a better idea yourself? Go write it yourself.

6) Chapter length: I refer you to my above list: 'My chapters are as long as my inspiration allows: if I think I can't do anything more with this chapter, that's my decision. If a chapter reaches, say, 5000 words I consider that an accomplishment; if it's only 1000 or more, I consider that an accomplishment and do you know why? Because I'm writing for my enjoyment and those who like reading my work.'

7) Complaints about ANs being useless/taking up space: They are there because I choose to put them there and that's not changing

8) Flat-out hate/cursing/language about my style/story: All you're doing is adding one more review to my number at the end of the day: think you can write a better story? Point 4, people!

9) Canon: This is Fanfiction for a reason: it's because we take the canon and shove it through a blender. We take the rulebook and Fiendfyre the heck out of it; we take logic, common sense and normality and give it more Avada Kedavras than a thousand Voldemorts could manage.

So, if you complain about canon, you're just a picky, obsessed moron who clearly doesn't know what Fanfiction is

10) Asking for sequels/updates/abandoned ideas/deleted ideas: I update as and when inspiration hits and, as for sequels, I'll only ever work on any that work in the long run. If I leave a story open-ended then that's my decision; if a story takes time between updates, maybe I've lost inspiration or need a refresher to get back on track. And then, IF I feel I can't continue, I make the personal choice to remove that idea, so I can focus on newer/other stuff.

I accept that people might be disappointed in losing a story, but, at the end of the day, there are literally tens of thousands of others on-site.

I'm not a bloody robot, everyone: I'm human and I have moments of block, inspiration loss and even moments of looking at my ideas and wonder WTF?

So, in closing, let's all say it together: IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT, DON'T READ IT!
