Author's Note: Click the 'my stories' link and go read 'Forgotten'. Why does everyone love 'Caught' and skip 'Forgotten'? It's sweet and romantic. Well, as romantic as that character can get at least. If you read anything here, read 'Forgotten'. Ok, I'll stop whining now. Carry on. -SJ

There is a common post on many author's profiles that in English, spelling doesn't matter so long as the first and last letter are correct because the human mind can still read the word. That may be a true, however, it does not address two things: (1) Not all spelling errors are letters out of order. Red, Read, Reed all depend on context. You probably didn't read the reed even if it was red. (2) English has anagrams - word that use the same letters in different order. Listen, Silent. From, Form. Could, Cloud. United and Untied mean totally opposite things so if I write 'Utnied' which word did I mean?

If you still don't think spelling and grammar matter, then tell me if 'jack' is a noun or a verb in this phrase:

i helped my uncle jack off a horse

Been writing for a while, used to post on AFF, but I'm no longer there. I won't be posting much here because most of what I write is MA and I hate editing down to M. Email me if you want a list of places to find other stories or uncensored versions of my stuff here.

Most of my FF is Yu-Gi-Oh, but I also write Ouran High School Host Club, Saiyuki, and I may add Bleach in the future.

About me, there's not much to know. I'm over the age of consent, under the age of retirement and I swing both ways. I'm pretty boring, really.

My standard posting schedule - once I start a story - is a chapter per week, but I'll post faster if there's an actual audience excited about a story. My goal is to have at least as many comments as chapters, so for every comment I receive, I will post a new chapter within 24hrs. I love feedback - I hate feeling like no one is reading. And do do try to reply to all comments either by PM/email r at the start of the next chapter (or occasionally both.) I understand that many people don't know what to say. So here's my suggestion for reviewing my stuff if you consider yourself 'feedback challenged'.

:-) = you liked it, it made you smile or cry, you made it a favorite, you'd read it again even.

:-\ = it was ok, but not great. You liked the concept but not the execution. You wouldn't read it again, but it's not so bad that you feel like you wasted your time reading it.

:-( = you are actually mad at me for writing it, complete waste of space, nothing worked for you, and you only finished it because you were praying that I would fix it by the end. Assuming you forced yourself to finish.

That's all.

Thanks for reading.
